I am a friend or relative of a resident

I like the cleanliness of Legend Oaks. The day I was there for my aunt, the staff were very caring. The floor nurse was also very sympathetic and caring. I saw some activities, but I don’t remember what some of them were. They have posted a calendar with quite a few activities listed. My aunt was not able yet to go and join anything, but hopefully in time she will.

    I visited this facility

My father asked me to visit this facility for his mother, which is my grandmother. She has multiple sclerosis and is in need of specialized care because she is only about 40% mobile with assistance. This home is less than one mile from my home and very convenient to the local walmart. The staff was nice and personable. I found the facility to be clean and the rooms a reasonable size, with more than adequate space for residents who may require a wheelchair or power chair, such as my grandmother. There is a nearby library to bring books to read to your loved one. The outside of the facility is nicely groomed and seems to be well kept. However, they are building a middle school next door to the facility , scheduled to open in the 2012-2013 school, from what I was told. Overall, I thought the facility was well run.
