My father-in-law has been a resident of Harmony Care at Golfcrest. They were excellent. They took care of him every day. And anytime I had any concerns or I just called to check on him because he wasn't answering his cell phone, the nurses would let me know. We went every day to check on him, see if he needed anything, how he was doing, and make sure he was behaving well. Every time we went in there, the place was so pretty clean. We encouraged my father-in-law to go into the dining room to sit down and eat so he could talk to people. Well, he didn't want to go in there. Finally, I think just before he got out, he did go into the dining room and enjoyed it. They do a lot with the patients. And from what I've seen, they take care of them real good. I watched this facility. I'm nosey rosey, I try to find out what's going on because I want to make sure that he's at a safe place. They have good food, too. Everything was accessible even for the ones in wheelchairs. It was nice. I also smelled popcorn there. And they have vending machines. When we would go, I would get him his soda out of the vending machine, and ice for his soda. They did a lot of therapy as far as to get him to walk because when he's at home, he doesn't walk a lot. He's got a house big enough where he could take his walker and walk around the living room because he won't go outside. He'd just look out the windows. And instead of just sitting on the bed, we put another chair in his room so he would get off the bed.
