Our loved one is treated respectfully, the activities are engaging and the food is great. Everyone has been so kind and helpful during the transition and they always keep our loved ones needs first. Our family can’t thank them enough and we have such comfort knowing that our loved one is getting exceptional care and love every moment they are there. The rooms are very nice and spacious! The staff goes above and beyond to answer questions and they always respond quickly to calls or texts.

Auberge at Cypresswood was very nice. When I visited, they were just finishing up lunch. They had a big dining area. Everybody was busy. After lunch, they did other activities. It looked very well-organized with a lot of caretakers, and I was impressed with that place. The staff members were all very cordial. They had a full schedule of things that people could participate in. They also had a bus that could take them to doctor's appointments or activities that they signed up for. The thing that got me about them was that they were the highest-priced. Even with all of what they offer, I still couldn't afford it.

It is welcoming and inviting, and the resident animals were a big plus for my dad. It seemed and smelled like a home. There are three meals a day chef-prepared and served on plates, restaurant-style. Each wing has its own kitchen and dining room, and meals are served collectively, so all the residents eat at the same time. They have lots of different activities, like exercises, lots of brain stimulation work, and interaction with the staff. They also encourage family members to attend. It's pretty convenient for me, only about two miles from the house. It's fairly close to the highways as well. All the rooms are shared, but my dad is in one by himself right now. The room is appropriate for the way they want the residents to live. There's a big emphasis on keeping the residents in the community, so the rooms are not large, but I'm glad they're not. It doesn't feel like a nursing home or an assisted facility. I like it a lot.

The residents looked happy. We spent a lot of time there, but it was not exactly the place I was looking for. They make all of the residents have a roommate. They only allow them to bathe three to four times a week. I asked them why, and they told me that it is a standard. My mother wants to bathe every night.

It was a great community. It’s awesome, and they had animal therapy. They had rooms in perfect order, individual kitchenette area, and the place is just great.

It had a very good rating. I would have brought her there, but it was too active for mom. I thought the setting was nice, the rooms were good, and the staff was nice. I like the fact that there were dogs to comfort the people. I just chose to go for something smaller for my mom. The sanitation was excellent; it was clean and well-maintained.
