We have been here at Arella on Jones for two years now. The thing I like the most is the fact that it's very new and very plush. We have our own washer and dryer. We have a very nice apartment. The only thing I do not like, which I think is very important, is that we're on the second floor. We should have gotten to the first floor, and we didn't. The power has been out several times and we have lost elevator usage several times. My husband is walking with a cane; he's going to be 88 years old. We were without power for four days. And I know that everybody in town just about was without power, and I don't know why the elevator goes down so much, and that's a negative here. And I think they're working on it. They do not have a restaurant, so we have to go out, which is fine now. But five years from now, it might not be because of the age we are. We would like to have something that has more capability of lunch and breakfast or something like that, and they don't have that here. They tried two restaurants and those didn't work. Nevertheless, if you have any kind of problem, immediately they take care of it. There's lots of activities going on. They have a beautiful pool in the back. It's a beautiful facility. There are card games going on all the time, there's bingo on Wednesday nights, and we have a Bible study one day a week. There are several things going on every day. It's a beautiful facility. They take very good care of it. They have beautiful rooms, and they're very well decorated. We have a two-bedroom and two-bath right now. The staff here is young. Some of the facilities that are 55 and plus have somebody there all the time and we don't. They leave on the weekends. We don't have parking lot security, or some type of security, because we have had a couple of cars that have been broken into.

We liked Arella on Jones. They all had high marks. It had an indoor pool, but we weren't really thrilled about that. They had a cafe, and my wife is very interested in that. The food was great, we had lunch there. They had some extra special cuisine, a quality menu with some chef's specials. However, they offer less than the other places we went to.

My parents have moved into Arella on Jones. Working with the staff there was excellent. They answered all of our questions. They provided three different tours because we went with different family members at different times. Everything was taken care of. Moving day went extremely smoothly. We were given a window to move in, and that worked great. No problem with our truck. Everything was ready. Everything has just been as smooth as possible so far. Their accommodations are excellent. We actually found better accommodations for about the same price as other facilities. The monthly rent was about the same that other places were with fewer accommodations. They have multiple workout facilities, a library, multiple game rooms, multiple pools, and multiple public spaces just to relax and hang out, read a book, or talk to people. They call it luxury senior living, and that's very accurate. I know there's a calendar. I haven't really seen it. I know they have coffee time once a week. They have yoga. It's a newer place, and they don't have things every day because they don't have enough residents yet. They just opened in March of this year. It's been open for two months, so they don't have a lot of people yet. Even without guided activities, there's a game room, a movie room, another game room, and a craft room. You can go do activities. It's all there. There are some guided activities. I just didn't have time to look at the calendar, but there's plenty to do.

Arella Apartments on Jones are located on Jones Road near the MET Church. It is a new community. We started with a tour and decided this was the place for us. It's an excellent facility and just beautiful. The staff members are all very friendly. They have a lot of activities. They have a library, a Billard room with shuffleboard room, and a poker table with cards, in the game room. They also have a pool outside. They have a beauty shop and barbershop inside, as well as a massage. They have a lot of amenities, too many to mention. They have a theatre room. Mr. J and I selected a large two-bedroom, and we will move in on June 1st. Love this place so much!!!

Arella on Jones was lovely. The staff was very good and very efficient. It had about 250 apartments and I think they've only rented 14 when I was there. So, it's brand new. One of the main things I liked about it is they're going to have a cafeteria in the fall and you only pay when you eat there. I liked that a lot. They had a variety of apartments, too. They have a beauty salon, fitness center, and everything like that.

Arella on Jones is right here on Jones Road. It's a new place and they don't have very many residents yet. It was outside of my parents' budget so they can't live there anyway, but we took a tour of it and it's very nice. It's not assisted living, it's a regular apartment for older people. It's very nice and beautiful. Once they get it up to a lot of people living there, it'll be a nice place. There are a lot of things they want to offer. The place was spotless and the staff who toured us was very friendly. They were going to have all kinds of activities. They had a library, a shuffleboard room, somewhere they could play poker, like a card game room. They also have a pool outside. They had a place where you could get your hair done, like a little beauty shop and barbershop inside, and also have a massage. They had all kinds of amenities that they were going to have. They didn't have enough residents yet to have all that open, but they were going to. They showed us where they were going to be like once it was set up, but it wasn't open yet until they had enough residents to support it. They have a little theater room in there too. They were going to have a little area where you could come and get fresh food. We looked at the area and she told us what they had planned to do with it. The rooms were kind of small, but I've never looked at any other senior place before so that's probably pretty standard. The place is brand-new and everything was just top-notch.
