I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

On behalf of my mother I would like to thank the staff at Rambling Oaks for treating my mom like a human being and with the upmost respect. We transferred her from another facility that was not doing that. The first. moment I walked in I was greeted as a person. The love and care given to my mom for the final months of her life were simply God Loving. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for being good to her all of the time. xoxo

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

The sweetest and most loving staff that can be imagined. I had connections with many different nurses that gave me recommendations of which facility they felt was above the others. In 1 1/2 years I never regretted my choice. If you want nothing but the best for your love one then ylu need to visit Rambling Oaks.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

My mother went to a place that her doctor recommended -- Rambling Oaks (Rambling Oaks Courtyard Extensive Care Community). They’re great. They are comparable to anything Caring.com has suggested. My mother can participate in anything she wants there. She gets physical therapy, and they have a library, they have musicals, and they have reviews. She gets 3 meals a day. Food is institutional, but it’s adequate, and there’s plenty of it. In fact, she complains that it is too much food. Also she has friends there, so she’s very happy. My mother’s room is almost 500-square feet, and the others were between 380 and 425, so she has more space in her room.

I am a friend or relative of a resident

My mother was on rehab at Rambling Oaks Courtyard. It was very nice. The rooms were big and bright, the hallway was nice, and there were a lot of people around, so you could talk to the residents and see how they were doing, and they seemed to like living there. The food was really good. There was a time when the fire alarms kept going off for a few days. My sister went to see our mom. and she said, “There’s a fire, we have to get out.” And then somebody came in and said that she was delusional. OK, she has her moments but when the fire alarm keeps going off every day, you kind of start thinking there could be a fire.

I visited this facility

Rambling Oaks Courtyard Extensive Care Community was excellent. They had a rehab department. It was not as good as the other facility, but they did have one. They probably had some activities like bingo and puzzles.

I am a friend or relative of resident

I am a friend of a resident this facility cared for. The Nursing care was awesome !!! My hat to the the Male nurse on the floor (I think his name was Ed) for such caring concern in my friends final days. I would however say, That the alleged activities promised are very lacking. I watched these elderly people's activities. REALLY. A large beach ball in the lounge. Bingo 2 times a week for the select few. No outings, No brain stimulation! And the Musical Entertainment consisted of a stereo in the dining room playing ELEVATOR music. Rehablitation encompasses ALL aspects of the BODY and MIND. Everyone needs to get out once in a while. Stimulate the mind. I would NOT recommend this place for a fast recovery. Or long term.

I am a friend or relative of a resident

Rambling Oaks is a very good facility. We were happy there, and most of the time, they were very good. When we first got in, they had a guy that is a wonderful cook and served wonderful meals, but he had to be fired. After that they were OK, but not spectacular anymore. The rooms were fine.

I am a friend or relative of a resident

My brother had chosen Rambling Oaks because it was closer to him. I don't know if mom has already made the adjustment yet. I think the facility is very bright and cheery, very clean, and staff is fairly responsive. They don't seem to have a turnaround of staff that I've been able to see. Of course she's only been there for two months. So most of the staff is in there a little while which is good, because it breeds familiarity.
