Stonemere Management & Executive Management Team Reeshan, you have only been there a short period, but you have already won the hearts of my parents- I really appreciate the kindness, care, thoughtfulness, and patience you extend to all the residents. Thank you for taking care of my parents and their needs. Kristen, you have only been there two weekends, but you have demonstrated your leadership, work ethic, care, and kindness. Thank you so much for all the assistance. Frejus, I just can’t think of words strong enough to express my sincere gratitude – you have been nothing but super awesome from the day my parents were admitted six months ago. You are not only a great leader to your team but a super kind human being. I can go on and on praising your qualities but in short you are just an amazing person. From day one to today I have seen you work extremely hard, you are so caring, kind, patient and a decent person. You always have a smile on your face which makes residents feels very comfortable. You always find time to listen to my concerns and feedback – you are quick to address the issues. My mother when she sees you in the morning, she feels very safe that you are there to take care of her if something bad happens to her or she just needs additional help- Frejus, with you being there gives me a big comfort that my parents are well taken care- Thank You! Executive Team: Stonemere is a very well managed facility. Under the leadership of their Executive Director Chris, residents comfort, care and safety appears to be their top priority and the entire management team execute on that premises. Management have established a culture where residents are treated with respect and kindness. In the last six months, I have had frequent interactions with the entire management team on an individual level and have fond them to be extremely helpful and approachable, they are open to receive feedback and ready to address any concerns residents or family brings up. They walk the facility daily to ensure smooth operation. Facility is always clean, smells fresh and well maintained. I want to extend my special thanks and appreciation to Ramon in admission, he made the admission process very smooth, Peaches in finance, her knowledge of the process and willingness to help. Linda and Ann for initial orientation and also for their on-going support. Helen in Social work, always have a big smile, very caring and always ready to help out, she is very knowledgeable and quick to address any questions or issues, always made sure to follow up. Ruby in HR, always have a big smile and ready to help and checking on my parents daily. I want to also express my sincere appreciation to the reception team and the kitchen crew – they play a critical role in making Stonemere a success. Thank You!

The rooms are spacious, well decorated. There was not one person staff, therapy, aides, nurses that was not exceptionally nice and caring. Wonderful aides were Hope, Tina, Denise. Wonderful nurse care provided by Lauren, Yannick, Rose, Bea. All the physical and occupational therapists were so positive and encouraging. Especially Justin, Debra, Trina, Tom. I would not hesitate to go there again if needed. The director Linda was so helpful with all my questions.

Mom's 1st shift aide, Denise is outstanding!! She gets to know her patients and anticipates their needs. She is kind, compassionate, loving, friendly, the list of positive comments could go on forever about Denise. The entire staff should learn to practice caring the way that Denise does. She creates Holy Moments all day long with her patients. Also, the PT, OT and Speech staff are awesome as well. Very encouraging as they work to help the patients heal. Second shift staff are also very caring. Third shift staff and the weekend staff need to seriously work on their people skills and learn about being kind and helpful to the patients there recovering from their trauma that put them in Stonemere in the first place.

My husband was a resident at Stonemere for over 3 months (April to July 2023). He received EXCELLENT care. The family wants to give an extra shout out to Denise who not only physically took care of his daily needs but also showed with her kindnesses how much she truly cared for his mental well being. The family will be forever grateful to her. She secretly must wear angel’s wings!! I highly recommend Stonemere Rehabilitation Facility!

Hello All: My sister was at Stonemere many many times for Rehabilitation when she ended in the hospital and they would turn her around in 2 weeks and she would go back to her home. Then lately she started declining and kept getting aspitational pneunomnia and the hopsital wanted us to put her on hospice. That was in Oct. 2022. It was heartbreaking for me because it was like I was waiting for her to die. But the good care and Kirk Nutrition Director with his pureed food and thickened liquids. Kept her alive for 6 more months I am very greatful to them. So If you need a good place for your aging or aliling family member I highly suggest Stonemere you won't be sorry. Matt Director was great too. Also listened when i had something I wanted to try with Janice. Melissa the Head Nurse was very attentive. And Mary Lou always brought her over from the hospital right away. They had activites there she loved bingo singing and dancing. Most of which she did in physical therapy. I can't say enough about them. I hope this helps someone. JIllk

They have taken exceptional care of my grandmother and the nurses here are wonderful. Everyone I spoke to was so kind and patient. My grandmother has dementia and it’s been really sad to see, but they have been wonderful and so patient with her. Very grateful for this facility.

Hello All: If you are looking for a caring place for your family member look no farther. My sister has been her 8 times for rehabilitation. She ends up in the hospital for some reason or other and then to Stonemere they turn her around in 2 short weeks and she goes back to her assisted living facility. Their rehab is above none in the area. Matthew - Director - Melissa _ Director of Nursing - Tiffany Her assistant. Mary Lou - laison between hospital who has helped me move her over there in a day. You couldn't find nicer more compasionate people. They really care about your loved one and you. They are on top of everything and oversee your loved ones care. There isn’t any other place that I would ever want my loved one in. This time Janice couldn't go home she has aspiration pneunomia assisted living couldn't handle it. They refused her at the hospital I was in a panic contacted Mary Lou who called me from the middle of the ocean on her vacation and said not to worry we have a place for her. We moved her there and she is checked on regulary. Kirk - Food and Beverage Director gives her the pureed food and thickened liquids she needs now. They are all Angels and a gift from GOD. They work with you and make your feel at peace and even help you with your very difficult decisions. I can't say enough. So if need a new home for your aging parent or family member. Make Stonemere your first stop you won’t go any further. I truly hope this helps someone! JillK

My wife and I became 'Resadents of Stonemere Rehab Center in June of this year, {2021]. PRIOR TO COMING HERE, WE HAD LIVED IN 2 OTHER SENIOR CENTERS. We must make note that of the Three places we have resided, none can hold a candle to Stonemere. Rooms are cleaned every day, 7 days a week. The medical staff make you feel at home, and are at your call, 24 hours a day. Important to me, was the 3 meals a day, Once a week your given a 'menue' for each day of the week, allowing you to pick your food tastes. The food served is first class. Would we recamend Stonemere, 100% YES. Daily activities, morning and afternoon are outstanding, set for patients requests. As stated at beginning, All other facilities we have lived in offer far less then Stonemere. We are, and will continue to be Permanent Resadents.

The facility, amenities, and staff are top notch. From the moment I arrived I was treated with respect and dignity. I never had to wait long for help when needing it. If never waited long for someone to come when I used the call button. The therapist and doctors worked diligently with me so I would be able to go home sooner. They worked to make sure my dietary needs were met as I have gluten allergies.

My father stayed at Stonemere during the end of summer 2019. He came to the facility for rehabilitation as it related to standing, walking, showering/bathing and other physical challenges. During his stay,he developed terrible bed sores. His wounds did not receive the treatment that was required. Because his wounds got so severe, he needed to be transferred to a wound center that specialized in healing. When we got to the wound center they did an evaluation on his sores and determined the sores were unstageable. This means they were so bad there was substantial skin or tissue loss. The sores were located on his back and the heel of his foot. My family still can’t figure out how Stonemere, who was responsible for cleaning him and rehabbing him, could have let these sores get so bad. While the wound center was able to get the sores to a point that was manageable, it left us limited options to transfer him to assisted living centers. We finally found a new place to live that would accept him with his wounds and after getting there, he never was able to recover from his sores and ended up passing away. I would highly recommend finding another facility to trust with your loved one’s care.

My mother was in for debilitation after she had fractured her back. She was there for 6 weeks and we were very impressed with how attentive and kind the staff was to her. The facility is new and clean and the P/T was wonderful. Unfortunately, my Mom had another fall and her her knees recently. She is currently in the hospital again and will need rehab again. We will be returning to Stonemere because we were that happy with her experience. This time with Covid, we will be unable to visit her, but we have some comfort knowing she will be in a familiar surrounding. My mom used to be an RN and is 87 now, but is still very sharp with her mind. She is able to tell me in detail what goes on at the facility while staying there. She was always very complimentary of the staff. She has been in other rehabs in the past that we’re just awful, we are so happy to have found Stonemere.

I stayed at The Stonemere Rehabilitation Center in Frisco, Texas for two weeks following a total knee replacement. I was scared out of my wits due to my surgery in the first place and frankly don't like being at the mercy of others. For the first time in my life, I found myself relying on strangers to care for my every need. The Stonemere stepped up to the plate and proved to be the right choice. I saw excellence and compassion in action by not just the staff but the Executive Director as well. Never at any time did I feel uncared for or unsafe. In fact, by the end of my stay, I made many new friends and plan to tell everyone I know about the best kept secret in Collin County. A big shout out goes to the Executive Director, Daniel P, whose compassionate heart is reflected in his staff. Mr. Prince requires a high standard of quality care and attention from his staff and demonstrates by example with excellence as he frequently spends time with each patient instead of hiding behind a desk. As a result of the exquisite care and therapy I received at The Stonemere, I am functioning 2 weeks ahead of schedule in my recovery. The proof is in the results!

Due to double knee replacement surgeries, I've been a guest at Stonemere twice. And I have 2 more upcoming surgeries, and I plan on staying here again. I searched all of the facilities in the area, and this was by far the best. Everyone is just wonderful. It's not easy being in a rehab facility & it's easy to get very grouchy. But the entire staff worked to keep my spirits up! Each time, I had to stay appx. 10-12 weeks. It began to feel like my home after a while, so on my 2nd visit, it was so much easier. The food is awesome, they have yummy muffins for breakfast, the staff is so caring, the nurses are outstanding & the Physical Therapy people are amazing. While I realize that nobody is really excited about being in a rehab facility, but if it's required, this is my top choice for places to be. It was also very easy to have visitors, very good location.

My mother was in Stonemere Rehabilitation for several months, and it was overpriced. It was new, but there was a big turnover in employees, and I wouldn't recommend it. They put her in rebreathing treatment with steroids and left her unattended. She got too much of the drug, and it was horrible. It showed a lack of attention. There was a gentleman that I really liked a lot, his therapy was really great, and it was a good experience for her. I think the physical therapy was good overall, but the food was not that good.

in the last week-I love the facility! The hospital gave me 3 names of facilities and I had to choose which one to bring my mom to. Stonemere had the best staff that I saw on the tour and the patients were well taken care of and not being left alone. When my mom and my brother arrived they were introduced to everyone and taken to her room. The rehab facility was excellent. I feel that the employees here love their job. Everybody helped and the nurses came rapidly when my mom needed something. I met with the administrator before I left and told him how happy I am. I have recommended Stonemere to two other people already. I highly recommend them!

This is my home away from home. When I checked in I was welcomed by the staff and felt very comfortable immediately. After a few days I had a meeting with my social worker and therapist and it was very beneficial. The nursing staff is attentive and the therapy team is fantastic. I was brought to Stonemere after I broke my femur and my daughter in law referred me here because she knows the good reputation of the facility from working at Baylor. I am happy with my therapy results so far. The food is good and the hair stylist did a wonderful job on my hair. I am very happy with my stay so far at Stonemere and I have made friends here.

I arrived here last month after I got pneumonia on a family vacation in Alaska. I was in ICU there for a week, then I flew to Texas and my son brought me here because it's close to his home and they could get me in quickly. This is a super place. This is one of the best places to go, and better than the other rehabs I went to when I had my knee surgeries. The nurses are all great and friendly. They answer my call light fast and they're prompt. The Rehab department is absolutely wonderful and the therapists make it fun. I saw improvements every week. I have nothing bad to say about this place at all. It is clean and the food is great. It's better food than any hospital food I've had. I talk with the other residents in the dining room and we have a good time.

Facility is clean, with friendly staff and administrator! My first visit I was given a good tour, the receptionist was friendly, and the facility is easily accessible so I chose to bring my grandmother here. While here all of our issues were addressed, the nurses were helpful, and took care of all of her needs. The salon did a great job and the kitchen was good overall. When I asked for information it was provided promptly. The staff paid attention to our needs and I am happy with the experience we had. The administrator was always available and helpful.

I visited several times as my neighbor wfoas being treated there. Facility is remarkable. Beautiful and clean. Staff is terrible. More interested in personal conversations than in taking care of residents. Finding a staff member for assistance is a joke. It's clear they hate their jobs. They are unfriendly and unhappy. The quality of care is substandard. Owners should fire everyone and start over. Do NOT place your loved one here unless you want them to be ignored. So if you don't like your relative, you can punish them by moving them here!

The rehab part is excellent. I have no info on the LTC. The rehab -PT & Speech were fantastic! Not only do they know they basics, but they make use of all the different equipment available to ensure most improvement. Of the patient. Food is decent. Caregivers are OK, some are good. It's really a mixed bag. Will return again if needing therapy. Bring your own hangers. They don't give you many.

The facility is beautiful but don't leave a love one at the facility alone. The PT staff is wonderfu but the other staff don't like what they do and are not talented enough to be responsible for the care of others. During my stay, I had to constantly remind them what procedure I had. The first day they wanted me to strip down to see if I had any bruises. " The nurse" even wanted to take off my surgical bandaid which must be left in place for 7 days. I could say a lot more but let me just say this. Employees need to be screened daily for drugs.

My wife came here for therapy after her knee replacement and from day one it has been thw worst experience for her. First off when she got here, they didn't explain anything to her about the facility or what to expect. A nurse wants her to take off her clothes to see if she has any bruises. What does that have to do with her knee. Then they want to give her a TB shot which I found was weird. No nurse ever came to check on her or ask about her pain. Every time she called for assistance, it would take someone at least 1hr or 2 before some would come. The nurse supervisor was supposed to come back with results for the doppler reading and they didn't come back at all. This place sucks and I would not recommend this place.

My wife was relocated to Stonemere after hip surgery. We did not know what to expect. The Rehab program was excellent!! We were only there for about 3 weeks, but had a wonderful experience. The staff did a great job and if we have to go back, we would.

My 89 year old dad was in Stonemere twice, once because of a broken leg and once because of broken ankle. Both times the rehab staff did amazing work getting him back to taking steps again. The facility was always very clean and nice and my dad liked the food choices. The caregivers are well trained and did an excellent job. This is clearly skilled nursing so there is not a lot for the residents to do, except rehab.

My Dad was in this facility during the summer. The facility looks very nice, but that is where it ends. The nursing care and attending Doctor failed to see that Dad was heading into renal failure. Additional, they failed to recognize the risks associated with his lack of blood thinners could lead to a blood clot, which it did. The food, well the food offered was basic simple and horrible - like hot dogs and pizza, really people! We had to get him out of there and back into a hospital with life critical issues that this place failed to recognize. Attending physician was abstinent and would not listen to the family. If you love your family member stay far away from this place.

Stonemere Rehabilitation Center was brand new, and it was very fancy. Everything was new. I was there for rehab, and I liked the nurses. It was very clean, and it was a very nice place to be. It did not seem like a nursing home. The food was bad. I think their physical therapy program could be improved.

My dad is already in a nursing facility, and we are very happy with it. The cleanliness of the facility is up to par. It’s a brand new facility which just opened February this year. Everything is state of the art, new, and up to date. I am happy with the attention and care my dad is receiving; he’s being well taken care of. I have no complaints. They provided therapy for him. The staff is licensed, attentive, and there when I call. I can always talk to somebody. Any information I need to know about my dad, I don’t have any problem getting that information, and I do have a stay in some of his care.
