I'm in Christian Care Communities & Services - Fort Worth. It's a real community. People like each other and care for each other, and that's very important to me. It is an older facility, but they are working hard to do all the upkeep that they can. I'm perfectly happy with the people who are here. The maintenance people are just wonderful. I'm enjoying it. The other staff is very nice. The waiters and waitresses in the lunchroom are nice. The lady who does the activities is good. The exercise people had put in a new program. They had one man who did a lot and now they put in a lady who comes out of physical therapy, and she has just done a good job with the exercise program. We have an in-house physical therapy place that you pay for, so you don't have to go out. I still drive and I still have my car, so I don't participate in some of the trips, but they have trips to various places, like Wal-Mart twice a week. They have a trip to Braum's once a month, a trip to eat out with the ladies, and sometimes with both the ladies and the men and occasionally the men only. They have a lot of activities like that. We go to a lunchroom. I like it best because we have breakfast and either lunch or dinner because I don't eat that much so I don't want three meals a day. The main staff that we see every day is loving and caring. They have wonderful activities, some of which I don't participate in. Food has been one of our drawbacks lately because we've had some changeover in the staff. Right now, the food is not good, but it has been wonderful. It is an older facility, but the maintenance people take care of all the problems that occur as quickly as possible. I have a two-bedroom, a fairly sized living room, and a nice kitchen. I've only been here two years this fall. I visited others, and this was by far the most friendly, caring type of relationship. When you walk in, you feel like you belong. I wanted to be comfortable like I was at home, and that's what I feel like when I am here.

My dad is currently staying at Christian Care Communities & Services. They have a very caring staff there. It's kind of a neat location on a hill. There's a five-acre lake that's on the property and they can go down there and go fishing. They've got a nice cafeteria. They serve three square meals a day. My dad's room got a refrigerator and a kitchen sink. It's one room that's large enough for a bed, a sofa, a couple of chairs, and a shelf for books or whatever. They have activities on the premises. Other times, they have a small bus that they can use to take people on an outing. They have a physical therapist on the premises, as well as a health or exercise instructor. They've got a lady on the staff who has a little hair salon there. The facility is clean and well kept.

We visited Christian Care Communities & Services. I thought the staff, Solomon was very approachable and very interested in showing us everything. There was at least one thing I didn't like about it, but it was a beautiful place. It was very clean. The grounds were lovely. The hallways were nice and bright. The countertops were very nice. The rooms were adequate to large. We saw people doing puzzles. There was a very nice gentleman that was doing exercises at that place. He asked us to join them, but we didn't have time. He sound very enthusiastic. We didn't have a meal, but they offered for us to come back for that. They showed us a plate, and it looked good.

Mom is in this Community. She has a lot of friends and does bingo and exercise. They serve all three meals. I have eaten there, and it’s good. They have transportation that will take her, if needed, to doctors' appointments. The staff is very caring and attentive.

I also visited here. The people working there were very warm, kind, caring, friendly, and genuine. They had activities for their residents. I thought they do go out for a tour. It was very clean. I would recommend them to others.

My in-laws are here. The facility has a beautiful appearance. I like the cleanliness and the friendliness of the people that we met in the hallways. Overall, it was a really good place.
