I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

I chose San Jacinto Manor for mom because it is a small and happy community. The residents are all laughing and cutting up and having a good time. It feels like family, and my mom likes that. She's comfortable, they are taking very good care of her, and that makes me happy. This is the third home that she's in, and now she's happy again. My mother says the food is very good and it just feels homey. The staff are very friendly. They call me to talk about her medications. They call me if she needs anything that is not on her chart. They call me first before they do it themselves, and I'm very pleased with that. The place is very nice and clean. They do bingo and games. They go out to the backyard gazebo and watch the fish in the pond. The residents seem to be very mobile out there.

My mother has been in this facility for 7 years. It has slowly deteriorated. Good aids or nurses do not stay long. The bad aids are running the place.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

I’ve heard from a lot of different people that San Jacinto Manor is a good place. The nurses, all the people in-charge, and all the administration are very friendly, and they are willing to answer your questions. It is really easy because they take your loved one in a vehicle, and the family members just have to meet them at the doctor’s appointment, which is really easy. They have 3 meals a day and a nice cafeteria, and the food is good.

I am a friend or relative of resident

I have a family member there. I disagree. The staff is inept to socializing and understanding Alzheimer's disease. I've seen many raise there voices, physically aggressive and extremely impatient when caring for those with Alzheimer's. As many know, the sociological and psychological effects of the disease requires special attention. Not only is that observed with my family member, but others who have the disease as well. I would seek for a specialized facility if its within your financial ability.

I am a friend or relative of a resident

San Jacinto Manor is very close to my home. Although they don’t specialize in Alzheimer’s facility, they are very well up-to-date in Alzheimer’s care, and they have meetings and reviews with the people every week.

I visited this facility

San Jacinto Manor is right next to my granddaughter's high school and its really close to home. I love staff there as they are really good and they communicate with me all the time. Even the office people talk to the residents, greets them, and helps them all the time. It's my first choice, but the problem is they would not accept any Medicare advantage plan. I love this place.
