Providence Town Square is a great community. My mom lives there and it's very clean and they've got a lot of amenities, even outside of the norm. People can make their own private little gardens if they want to, and everything's pretty close and convenient. They're tucked away from the main road. It's gated, so it's pretty safe. They have a transport bus where they'll take the residents to restaurants or any kind of outside activity of interest. Plus they'll take them on grocery store trips and other things like that in groups. They have a great room that has a kitchen and a whole lot of tables if somebody wants to host a big event. Then there's another room where people go down and have different activities like cards or any kind of social activity. Another section of the great room is for those who just want to get out of their space. It has big TVs and nice furniture. People can gather down there, socialize, watch TV or watch a game or do whatever they wanna do. They have a lot of opportunities to interact.

Providence Town Square Apartments, Deer Park, TX Be warned. We do not consider this a functional, safe, or quality facility based on the services, or lack of, provided. This facility markets itself publicly one way and inaccurately based on our experiences. We moved our family member out and hope to protect others from misrepresentation and compromised living environment quality. The residents were great, but neglected by the facility. For example, multiple elevators were regularly not working, services were unavailable (e.g., entertainment rooms, pool), and staff were unavailable (e.g., not answering the phone or returning messages). It is noteworthy that the lack of services were not the result of COVID-19 precautions (e.g., closing for social distancing), but failure to act before and after pandemic protocols. We would categorize local managers as incompetent and indifferent to resident needs. Ownership (Blazer) did not respond to multiple resident requests for intervention. Given the importance of providing a safe and quality environment for the elderly, we recommend avoiding this facility at all costs.

Providence Town was expensive but the staff was very helpful and the apartments were very nice. It’s a three-story building with elevators.

Providence Town Square's location is an advantage for me. Just using my electric scooter, I can go to Walgreens and to CVS pharmacy. I can also get to HEB and to a local food town grocery store. There are a lot of beautiful small shops and food type of stores just directly in front of this facility. So the convenience with all of that, with not even having to get in a car and drive, is really plus. When I visit Providence, the staff was very helpful. I couldn't have been happier with my visit. They were very accommodating and I don't feel rushed with viewing the whole facility so they could get on with their work. The facility itself is really good. They have nice amenities. The only drawback I found is that their living room/dining room combination is rather very small. Also they chose to go with this odd-looking wood flooring. Nevertheless, they filled up very rapidly and the waiting list is considerably long.
