I stayed at Brookdale Clear Lake. They were changing or transitioning from one management to another because the director changed three times. I stayed there for a month, and they changed three times during the month that I was there. They had things going on in the office that weren't being handled properly, and it was kind of tedious for me because I was just trying to get in there and I needed their help. Their price was significantly lower. So I couldn't stay there, and I was disappointed about that as well. The food was wonderful. The apartments were beautiful. They had wonderful grounds, koi ponds, and fountains. It was relaxing. They had a happy hour every Thursday evening where you could go in, and they had a band that would come out and play. They had a lot of good activities and trips. It was all good, and the people were great. I made a lot of friends there in the month that I was there. It was all fine except for the office personnel.

I liked the outdoor area at Brookdale Clear Lake. They had a physical therapy guy onsite, too. They were very welcoming. They had a little sign to welcome my aunt who was supposed to go with me. They were the ones who followed up the most, and they checked to see if we were ready. The staff members were wonderful. I wish I could take that staff and take them to one of the other places. However, it was an older facility, and that concerned me. Also to go from the room to another area, they had a breezeway. And I know my aunt would get too hot in the summer to walk through there. Even though the breezeway was covered, it would probably get slippery. My aunt would probably not want to go outside if it were too hot or cold. It would make her less likely to do it. They're very affordable, though.

What I like least about Brookdale Clear Lake is the congestion. It is a very congested area. What I like best about it was probably the price. Even though it is high, it is one of the best prices for its amenities. The staff here is excellent. They are friendly and knowledgeable. The apartments are roomy and clean. They've got good layouts. They take care of the furnishes. If you want flooring changed, they change it for you. It's kept up well. So, maintenance is good. They have different kinds of art classes, and then they have Bible studies, church, dance lessons, socials, and happy hours. The food is just too expensive, but it tastes good. There is a food allowance but it is not quite enough to see through the month. Plus it doesn't account for all three meals. Things could be a little bit cheaper because they only serve two meals a day included in your price but again, that price is limited for the month. If you don't spend it all, it does not carry over to the next month.

My father has moved into Brookdale Clear Lake. The reason why we chose them is because of their location. Also, the facility was nice, and the price was right. My father has a one-bedroom apartment. They have a community room, a lunch bistro, a workout room, and laundry facilities. I have tried their food, and it was good. They seemed to have activities every two hours. The staff have been friendly so far.

My tour at Brookdale Clear Lake was excellent. It highlighted all the amenities and the advantages of living in the facility. They took us by the pool, the craft room, the game room, and the exercise room. We visited the library, the dining hall, and the grill. The outdoors was very well maintained. The gardens were beautifully landscaped. People could go for walks or they could just sit and visit or meditate. It was a very quiet, well-maintained facility. Logan was our contact. He was very informative. He has followed up with subsequent calls to see if we needed anything. I was very pleased by the attention he gave us and the time that he spent showing us around and the time he has spent following up. We looked at the menu and it looked very diverse, nutritious, attractive, and well-balanced. They had everything to tempt one's palate.

I liked Brookdale Clear Lake. There was a lot of socializing going on. They have amenities like a pool and exercise programs. The staff was really pleasant and good to deal with, very knowledgeable, friendly, courteous, and answered all my questions readily. They had a swimming pool, a recreation room with exercise equipment, and their spiritual gatherings seemed to be very uplifting, and I got a good feel for that, which is important for me. They play bingo and they have a theater. They had a garden club, and I'm into gardening, so I liked that.

We toured Brookdale Clear Lake. We pretty much liked everything about it. The atmosphere was very nice. Everything was very clean and nice. The people were really friendly. The apartment was very nice, too. They put brand new appliances in whenever someone moves out and they make sure that everything's in working condition. They had balconies. One balcony was a little small but it was still OK. It's just a nice place. You can walk around the whole area. Outside your apartment is kind of outside already. The air flows through. They have elevators. They have four courtyards around the complex. They have a pool courtyard, a golf courtyard, and a Koi pond. The staff who took us around the facility was friendly and helpful. We went into the cafeteria and the bistro, and they were nice.

I toured Brookdale Clear Lake. Once you get away from all the commercialism right around the outside, it was perfectly fine inside. It had open air courtyards and things like that, so that was pretty nice. It had everything. They had a library, a place where they had cooking classes, and a chapel. I saw a one bedroom apartment, and I thought it was fine for an elderly person. It was plenty big enough. They were also clean. There was a group of ladies that were sitting together talking. It looked like they might be doing some sewing. There were some people using computers that they had there.

Brookdale Clear Lake was extremely nice. It was a big community. The building was 3 stories. They had all kinds of things, like book clubs, arts, crafts, and puzzles. They had people that come in and do things for the residents. They provided transportation for doctor's appointments, the pharmacy, or the grocery store. They had a nice area outside with a putting green and a pool. The dining area was very nice, too. They had a lot of amenities available. The staff who gave me the tour was very informative and organized. She gave me a lot of information and a lot of good ideas.

We went to Brookdale Clear Lake Tuesday this week. We loved it. It was a lot better than what we expected. We loved the activeness of it, we saw a lot of residents that were active and not just kind of bored or just, not doing anything. There was a lot of activity going on. I think the rooms were wonderful. The dining area looked first quality. The staff was lovely, I talked to several different people, and everything was fantastic. They had the pool. I remember they had a little mini golf-type area, and they had a library.

I toured Brookdale Clear Lake by myself. They seem to check all of the boxes, and this is going to sound kind of weird, but when I first started my professional career, I spent a lot of time on the road living out of hotels and airports, and so when I took a look at Brookdale, it just seemed like a comfortable hotel setting with the restaurant inside and the room service and maid service option. That just seemed perfect. The person who showed me the place was exceptional. Her name is Toni, and I cannot remember her last name, but she was spectacular. She introduced me to some of the residents and some of the staff, and she was cognizant of my mobility challenges, so when we had to sit down and rest, she was amenable to that. She cares about future patients as well as current residents. I have not tried the food, but I did get to see it, and it looked fine, and it looked yummy. The place was clean. It was great because the rooms have the necessary handles for the bathroom, so if you need assistance getting in and out of the bathroom, they are equipped for that. And not only that, a good selling point is that they have a local life alert system, so if you fall in the bathroom, there is a button nearby you can push, so the staff can come in and assist you.

I have chosen Brookdale Clear Lake yesterday. It meets every one of my needs. The facility for me is perfect. I have two little dogs, and it's great for them. All the activities that they have are what I enjoy doing. The dining and the food choices are phenomenal. The grounds are impeccable; they're so pretty and well-kept. Everything is clean. I didn't see any trash. They have everything that I need to be comfortable. The staff was incredible. I spoke with Diana, and she is very well versed. She's been there for 15 years. All major staff members have been there 10-plus years, so they know everybody and everything that goes on. It just operates like a well-greased wheel. The organization is just spot on. I did not try the meal. I went at a time when they were not serving. I did not taste any food but based on what I heard people saying and what people said to me that I spoke with, I'm excited, and I'm looking forward to being able to eat three meals a day and not have to cook them.

We were pleased with Brookdale Clear Lake's independent living. It was nice and the lady who showed us around was extremely helpful in explaining things. We were very happy with the tour. It's very clean and the people we saw were extremely friendly. Dianna was also very helpful in answering all of our questions. We're definitely considering it, and most likely my father-in-law is going to make the move there. They were actually having a crawfish boil yesterday. The people were already starting to cook crawfish and someone was going to a store. I believe they had the van out front to pick up a lady for some trip too. They talked about the movie theater and they showed us that. They also showed us where the residents play cards and things like that. We checked the menu and she showed us all around to where they eat, but we did not eat any of the food.

I visited Brookdale Clear Lake last week. I toured their independent living. Everything that was there was pretty good when it came to the environment and just the activities that are provided. It was a good experience walking through the facility. They had an in-house little cafeteria. I also saw that they were doing events with the residents. They had a movie theater or a movie room too where you could go watch movies. It was a pretty good environment. The staff that gave me the tour was very informative and you could tell she's got knowledge. It was a good experience, overall. The dining room was well-lit and spacious. You could tell they kept it in good shape. It felt homey and you could tell they put a lot of work into taking care of the people that are there.

I found Brookdale Clear Lake and will be moving there in the last week of December. It's very active. I chose it very simply because it was stunningly beautiful, and the employees were fantastic. The marketing lady spent several hours with us Wednesday showing everything that she had available. Then we went back yesterday and looked at my preferences. The place is just gorgeous. It's beautiful with lots of activities from seven in the morning till seven at night. The courtyards have a putting green, a koi pond, a beautiful pool, and a beautiful rose garden. It's very well kept. They have a nice sized dog park, and I have a dog. It's just beautiful and clean, very, very clean.

My dad is in Brookdale Clear Lake. The apartment's square footage is nice and much larger than assisted living. The staff members are friendly and observant. They knew that he was in the hospital, so they checked on him often. He likes the food. He likes that there is a variety. There are at least four to five different menu items for the meal. They have activities. They have a van. They'll take them to stores and to different events, like maybe a movie show.

We looked at Brookdale Clear Lake and everything you need is right there for you. For instance, all the meals are available for you, they're delicious too, so you wouldn't need to worry about having to cook your meals anymore. That's something that my husband and I particularly felt like at this point in our life, where we would just like to enjoy that. The lady who toured us was wonderful. She's very upbeat, friendly, and willing to answer all your questions. When we got ready to leave, they gave us a complimentary meal to take home with us and it was delicious. We even had the chance to choose what we wanted among the several meals they offered. My mother also lived there for about 13 years, and so we were familiar with the place already. When we decided that's where we wanted to go, we didn't even try to go anywhere else. We just went for it.

I visited Brookdale Clear Lake. The apartments were very clean and looked good. The staff seemed professional and did their job. They showed me varying facilities, like the pool, the koi pond, the library, and the nice seating areas outside, as well as the lounge room and the movie theater. It was a pretty good tour. I talked to some residents there, and they said the food was not that great.

We chose Brookdale Clear Lake. We love it, it's clean, they have a lot of activities to keep you busy, and everybody is so friendly. We got a one-bedroom with a den, kitchen, and bathroom complete with a walk-in tub, which was what I needed. They have one- and two-bedrooms. We just had a Halloween party, we're going to have Thanksgiving of course, and we just had a fall festival last week. They're always doing something and we do just about everything. I placed my mother here and my brother is also a resident here. It's a very nice place.

Brookdale Clear Lake is a very nice place; however, it is not completely enclosed. The hallways are covered, but they're open on the ends. The rooms are very nice. We looked at 1-bedroom apartment and it was very nice. They have activities going on there. They have a nice dining room. When we visited the dining room happy hour was happening and people were up and about with their glasses of wine. It seemed very nice in that respect. They have a van that takes folks to a grocery store a couple of times of week. They have nice amenities as far as that goes. However, it is a little too far away for us. It is further than we would like. The staff who assisted me was very nice.

My mother moved into Brookdale. The location is fantastic. It's three miles from me, right across the street from a mall and near plenty of places to go for shopping. She's adjusting quite well, eating well, and participating in almost all activities they offer. The size of the home is perfect for her. She's in a small one-bedroom apartment with a kitchen, and her room is overlooking a lagoon courtyard with a waterfall and koi pond. It's very resort-like. She has physical therapy, occupational therapy, and a home health sees her. They've been working on some repairs, and it needs a little bit of updating in the community room and dining room. Their food is excellent, I go and eat with her all the time, and it's like going to the restaurant.

Brookdale Clear Lake was excellent. The staff was very knowledgeable, and the residents all seemed to be very happy. A lot of them were socializing. They had a common area where everybody seemed to be happy. They were able to go outside, and there were people sitting outside. They had a nice swimming pool. The studio apartment was very nice and very updated as they had just remodeled it. The bathroom was large. Everything was very nice. However, they did not offer dog walking and that was the reason why we could not use that facility.

Brookdale is about 3 stories high, and the rooms are very nice and ample. However, we didn’t like that you had to walk outside and get on the elevator to eat, unless you’re on the first floor. They were doing board games when we went there. The dining area looked fine, with ample room, and seated 4 to a table.

Brookdale Clear Lake was a newer, well-kept facility but did not have character. The rooms were smaller. The surrounding was clean and felt like a hotel. The people working there were professional and long-term employees.

Brookdale has nice rooms, but the laundry room is in a different hall and less private. They have everything. The dining room is lovely with food prepared by a chef, but I can’t afford the cost. They have a lot of people in walkers, and it’s located in a congested place.

My mother-in-law is at Brookdale Clear Lake. She's been there going on her fourth week now and so far the staff are excellent. Everybody is very helpful. They have lots of activities like they have tours and they take them to different places to eat. They have exercise classes as well. To me, the place is like a resort.

We've already got my parents in Brookdale Clear Lake. We liked the staff and the location. They are very friendly, and it is good food. They have the same thing every Monday and the same thing every Tuesday. The room is nice and laid out well, but it is pretty small. They have larger ones, but those are more expensive, so they had to get what they can afford.

My father is in Brookdale Clear Lake (Formerly The Terrace at Clear Lake), and he has been doing pretty well. He is enjoying it, and he likes it a lot. The meals are wonderful, very balanced, and delicious. They have many amenities like going out for shopping, church, bingo, dominos, movies, parties, lots of handcraft lessons, and yoga, and they have two dining rooms. The personnel was very nice and was very helpful every moment we asked for help.

It had the most beautiful pool. It also had big bushes of flowers and flowering trees on the property. Their food was very good. Brookdale Clear Lake (Formerly The Terrace at Clear Lake) would've been my second choice. They had everything that I like. The room opened outdoors, and I like that the best. I like the indoor halls, the director, and the food there. It was a quality place.

Brookdale Clear Lake had the setup that was right for mom. Mom really needed an area where food was available for breakfast, lunch, and dinner because she is not cooking very much on her own. And she didn't really like the assisted living feel. In fact, she feels like she is the youngest one there; she just doesn't see herself as an old person. The staff is very positive. In fact, their positive nature helps mom stay positive as well. It is just generally a very positive community. Their rooms and apartment are great and very clean. Mom's been fussing over the weather stripping on the bottom of her front door, and they've come out, budged at it four times until they found the molding that was right for the door, and that it wasn't too tight or too loose to open and shut the door. So their attention to what she needs is important. It is not only securing the door but that she can open and shut it under her own power, and I think that it is very considerate of them. And my mom has a dog, and her favorite thing is to go out to the little dog park in the back and hang out with the other dog owners.

I visited Brookdale Clear Lake very briefly so I don't know enough about the staff. I felt the rooms were very nice. I prefer a place that has a living area and a bedroom. As far as I can tell the staff was helpful, but I didn't interact with them very much. I can't say much about the food, but they did offer what looks like to be a nice menu. They took people out to shop, and they had a little putting green for the golfers. I don't know for sure, but I believe they have various other kinds of musical activities and shows. I like the general setup of the housing which is several stories in one building.

The staff at The Terrace was very helpful. Out of all that I saw, they were the best, and I visited 3 different places. They had 2 dining rooms: one that was a la carte and one that was like a snack bar. Both of them looked very satisfactory. The Terrace is almost luxury.

The people at The terrace seemed friendly. I liked the landscaping and the waterfall. I didn’t like the apartments though, they seemed a little dated but other than that the facility was fine. I had visited The Terrace. They serve two meals a day but they do not have food on the weekends, which they could have for people who do not cook. But the rooms had a microwave and refrigerator. They were not large, but comfortable. The rooms on the lower floor had outdoor access and they were allowed to have pet. I love it that they allowed pets because they were important to people who were older. They had a lot of activities like group games, music and movies. They had transportation, which I called the limousine that would take them to doctor's appointments, shopping malls and groceries. They had beauty salon on board, but if they wanted it outside, they could.

We toured The Terrace and we liked it. The staff was very efficient and pleasant. We liked the apartments, they were very nice and they were remodeling. There were lots of grounds and we liked the fact that there was a library, a movie theater and of course a game room. There were several rooms to entertain if you have family or friends over. The food that we had was good and very tasty. A lot of the residents were friendly. I wasn't very fond of the fact that there were no washer and dryer in your room; you have to use the public unit.

The Terrace - Clear Lake is a very beautiful facility. The staff were being friendly and very helpful. I just like everything about it. The rooms are very, very nice. I did not eat anything, but I knew that they were having breakfast and lunch and I liked that. I really can't remember the activities, but I know they go on some trips and they will take the residents shopping or to the grocery store. They have a doctor on-call. They also have a church.

Beautiful facility with plenty of activities. Lack of food choices. The staff is dedicated and caring. Not enough elevators in case of an emergency. Lack of diversity. The light to get into and out of the facility is very short and dangerous.

The Terrace at Clear Lake is in an excellent location very near the freeway but hidden off the main road in a extremely safe location near to every amenity you could ask for. It has a very nice pool (only drawback is that it is not handicapped enabled). The staff is one hundred percent willing to do what it takes to make sure clients are well cared for at any time day or night. They have a wheel chair accessible van that makes regular trips as well as special event trips. One drawback is that rent increases on a regular basis. The building is kept in great condition and the grounds are very pretty. The residents as a whole are happy with the Terrace. There is a nice selection of apartments that posses showers that are truly nice wheelchair enabled showers, very large and spacious. Full sized fridge and stove with oven as well as a handicapped enabled laundry room. Multiple located emergency buttons make it extra safe for your loved one as well as gated entrances and exits. Meals are provided with an optional buy in plan in a beautiful eating hall. Bonus is that the location is within a couple of miles of one of the best hospitals in the Houston area.

I have visited this facility a few times. This is the place that was best suited for my father in law. It has all the amenities of a home. He is well looked after. He is provided with great food and great entertainment. The living arrangements afforded to him are of a high quality. It is a great environment for people who need a little assistance to get along in life. The staff is very helpful. We know that he is safe and well taken care of. He has become more social because of the activities available to him. And because of the great location he is close to one of the very best care facilities available in the country. I hope that this is something that will be available to me when I am in need of additional assistance.

I thoroughly enjoyed the tour and was impressed with the facility. My current situation with an oversized dog prevents me move at this time. But, I am definitely sold on the idea of The Terrace being my new home in the future when other arrangements have been made for my support animal.

The Terrace at Clear Lake is somewhat unique in that is allows seniors to live independently, but with assistance. What I notice about The Terrace is how clean and well maintained everything is. From the time you drive in th main entrance until the time you leave, you will see staff everywhere taking care of things. The parking lot and grounds are taken care of and offer the residents nice areas to enjoy the outdoors. Once inside, staff are unobtrusively cleaning, taking care of plants, etc. The other thing I really like about The Terrace is its location.
