I went to see Truewood by Merrill, Park Central. It was very nice. It was a very nice visit. The staff was very welcoming and accommodating. It was very beautiful inside. The outside was a little difficult to navigate, but that may have just been me. But the inside was nicely appointed and there was great space. The facility itself and all the rooms I saw, were clean. It looked very inviting. The person who assisted me there was great. She knew her stuff, and she was very helpful and very thorough about what I was looking for. I did not have any of the food, but I did see the dining area. It was great. It was very nice, and the food smelled great. I didn't observe any activities, not at the time I went. Mostly I got to see some people with their dogs, but it was lunchtime, and that's pretty much what everybody that I saw was doing.

I've been living in Truewood by Merrill, Park Central and we're fine with everything. I like the food, the staff, the living room, and the bathroom. Everything is first-class. Everyone is very helpful and very polite. The room is clean and exactly has what you need including a kitchen. I'm in a 1-bedroom apartment with a bathroom, the shower has grab-bars, the bathroom is stuffed and clean and there's plenty of closet space. The grounds are fantastic, they keep it clean and keep everything cut. They have a putting green, a parking garage, and it's a gated community. They have two dining areas, one for breakfast and one for dinner and lunch. They serve coffee, and they have coffee, water, and juice machines available all day and all night. They serve a variety of food, we don't eat the same thing every day. And if I don't know any better, I'll swear I'm at a hotel.

My friend moved into Truewood by Merrill, Park Central. They're in a one-bedroom, and so far everything has been very nice. There are no complaints. It has a kitchenette and a bathroom, there's a lot of space. It's a nice, big place. I know there are amenities, and they do games, and they will take you to the mall. They have a van, they take them to the arboretum, and they have a lot of indoor and outdoor activities.

I have moved into Truewood by Merrill, Park Central. It has a very nice, clean, and updated appearance. I've just had a meal, and I would rate that a four. Their menu looks wonderful. Most of the activities are during the day, and I work during the day. I haven't used any of the amenities, but I appreciate having it. They have a fitness center and the hair thing. They've got a little mini golf course out there and a little park for the dogs. The upkeep and cleanliness are very good.

I went to Truewood by Merrill, Park Central. It was very nice, it was spacious, and It was very clean. They had a bar, they had a happy hour, I thought that was nice if you wanted to have a happy hour at five o'clock. They have all levels. People that don't need help like me, up to further, but it just looks like a nice and friendly place. The apartments were very nice. There was a library, they played card games in the foyer. The only drawback was the windows were so dirty, you can't see out the windows. They had the regular bingo, and he said there was a group of ladies that played UNO, they had dancing and happy hour. They had exercise, an exercise room, or people that walked regularly around the courtyard.

I moved in and it's a nice place, but it has management issues. I don't have any problem at all with the staff; they're good. The chefs are fabulous too. They do a good job on the place and are always cleaning. This place is is good and I'm happy. It's in a metropolitan area with lots of hospitals.

I visited and it's beautiful. They have 2 dining areas and they offer lots of activities for seniors with the pandemic and all that. It's just wonderful. Their food was excellent. It's also a very professional place. The employees and the director were all amazing.

The layout was nice, and the rooms were gorgeous and spacious. Everybody was very welcoming. They served three meals and had presentation with the meals. The staff was very professional and answered our questions.

We picked my father-in-law up and took him here, and the staff seemed very friendly. The place was clean, neat, and very comfortable-looking all the way up to his room. He seemed to be happy with his room, and everything seemed OK. There’s an adjacent room to his room, and there’s somebody in it, but they have to go through his room to take this guy to his room and back. That’s kind of an inconvenient thing.

They seemed to be very accommodating. My brother-in-law ended up getting a one-bedroom there that’s sufficient for one person. When we visited, they were really friendly. They have a nice exercise room, karaoke, and a bar setting downstairs with the tables and everything. They have a lot of professional singers that come in and do stuff with them there. They honor all the holidays. I was there on Cinco de Mayo, and they were giving everybody margaritas, with alcohol and without. They’re very cautious with the food, especially if you’re diabetic. The chef will watch the serving size that they give you. We’re very impressed with it.

My sister likes it and is doing so much better because they’re assisting her with taking her medicine. She likes her one-bedroom apartment.

My visit was very pleasant. It’s actually a converted hotel right on the freeway, which to me was good. For some people, that’s a drawback because they don’t want to be that close to a lot of traffic. The dining room was restaurant-style with OK food. The staff was fine. Everywhere we went, the staff was gracious and welcoming; I didn't have any complaints about the staff. The person who was in charge of the dining room came over and visited with us for a little as did the head of transportation. I noticed he seemed very concerned that the transportation be provided with graciousness. The staff people that we dealt with were just fine and gave us a lot of time.

I visited for my mother. We visited it because they’re close and they offered everything my mother needed. The facility was very warm and very friendly, and the people seemed to be very happy. We ate there, and the chef came out and talked to my mother. It was wonderful. She loved the food. The staff was very friendly. They have many activities like eveybody else. They have out-of-town activities, and they have happy hour with lots of entertainment.

I did not likit. They weren’t there to show me around. I saw a few people sitting around who didn’t look very active at all. They were older people just waiting to die. It looked clean from what I’ve seen of it, but it was in a very negative area.

We’ve got mom settled in. It is nice, a little upscale. It’s a 7-story building, and it has nice-sized rooms. My mother likes the food, and she enjoys the place. She does go to some of their church functions. She does some of their exercise gatherings, and she does some hobby stuff. The staff is always present and always helpful. It’s safe and comfortable.

My mother had a friend here, so we were able to visit first the facility. We liked the people as well as the staff that were there. The apartment that was offered to my mom was brand new with hardwood floors in it. It was really clean looking. We really like the way the apartment looked -- that is why we chose the facility for my mom. The food is good and they offer full meals. They do have different activities, like aerobics and planned card games. They also have entertainment and social hour every day. They have outings and religious services on weekends too.

We had delicious lunch here. It was well done. We had a tour of the various rooms and suites. We felt with what we saw and experienced during our brief time there that this seemed to be clearly the best one for us.
