I chose Manorcare Health Services for my mom because it was close to my grandmother's house and I knew some people who used to work there and she referred them. The rooms were clean, big enough for two people and she shared it with another resident. The staff was very good, professional and they communicated with you. I had been pleased by the care she got because she gained weight since she moved in. I liked that the staff interacted with the family member and they contacted me before they did anything to her. Every month they called and gave an evaluation. I had not eaten there but she seemed to like the food. I thought that she needed more activities for stimulation because she was a high-functioning individual.
