I was a resident at this facility and I was transferred due to a broken femur. The nursing staff and therapists were very kind and helpful. I was visited numerous times by ADON Shelley B and she made me feel safe. Always reassuring and offering to help. She has a smile that lights up the room and her attention to Covid was comforting to know that people out there really care.

The Corpus Christi Nursing and Rehabilitation Center was very clean. It's fairly new. The amenities are just the usual ones for a facility of that type. The person we met with was very knowledgeable of the law, and what we're dealing with here is Medicare. She was very straightforward with us. It's close to my home.

We had a hard time finding a place for my father because they didn’t want to accept him, and nobody would tell us why. We ended up putting him in Corpus Christi Nursing & Rehabilitation. The entry lobby is very nice and has nice furniture. My father has been in four different rooms because of hospital visits. We wanted a private room, but they don’t offer private rooms. It is very sad because he had lived in his own home for many years, and then all of a sudden he has to be put in half a room. They are very tight rooms with enough room for his wheelchair, another chair for somebody to sit in, and his bed. It is difficult when you have family visiting or even caring for him. The environment needs better cleanliness. They don’t do a very good job at all. It looks OK, but we don’t see anybody sanitizing anything between patients. We take our own cleansers and clean the room ourselves. They have been trying to improve things.
