Older building but they give great care. Super caring employees, it doesn't smell like a nursing home, they do fun things like bingo and spa days for residents. Therapy animals come in to visit, and there are lots of volunteers who come visit with residents as well. The therapy team is amazing, they do great rehab!

New Hope Manor is a very nice facility. It is accommodating, and it has a very friendly atmosphere. The residents are friendly. The staff as well as the residents receive my sister with open arms. I look forward to her becoming a resident there. The nursing staff is excited about helping her with her health concerns. The occupational or physical therapy caregiver is very open. She was kind of working with my sister to see what she could do to help get her stronger physically. My sister had a stroke, and she has been struggling to walk. She's been falling a lot, so they're committed to helping to resolve some of the issues. The staff is awesome.

New Hope Manor was nice. It was a little farther than I wanted to drive. The staff was very nice. We just toured it and talked to them. It was another good place that I thought was nice. There was a man and a woman who assisted me. They were very nice and very caring, and they explained things. The room was very clean. While we were visiting, they were doing activities with the people in the memory care. I saw the meal, and it looked decent and good.

I thought that New Hope Manor was a very nice place. I like the staff, they were very, very polite, and they had nice people that worked there. The place is well-taken care of and it smells clean. Sometimes you go into these places and they smell horrible, but that's not the case with this one. They had stuff going on, it looked like they kept the residents kind of busy. It looked like they had the setup for doing all kinds of stuff. I met the executive director or whoever is in charge, and the person that was at the front desk, and they were both very, very nice. I had an appointment and they didn't make me wait. The building was nice enough, it was not a brand new building, it was an older building but it was clean and kept up. This is way up on the top of my list.

My father is in New Hope Manor for rehab, but I'm not fond of the place. He's not happy there at all, but I don't have many options. They just leave him in bed, and they don't have any activities for any of the residents. Since he is an amputee, he can't get up on his own. I requested that he get a new room because the first one was awful. The lobby looks wonderful. The floors are crowded with wheelchairs all along the edges, so it seems like there's a tight walking path for the residents. The food depends on the day; sometimes he likes it. I haven't heard him say that it's awful. They could improve by providing opportunities for the residents to have more activities. They need to entertain them so that they don't become depressed. There's no telephone to get in touch with your loved one, so I have to call and talk to either a nurse or somebody at the front desk, and then they have to go down to my dad's room to tell him to answer his own phone. Just recently, I called twice and they said they'd have somebody get him to answer the phone, but nobody did. I have no way of communicating unless somebody follows through, and there's a fifty-fifty chance of them following through. I don't have a glowing review of this place, and if I could move him to another location, I would.
