My father, age 96, has been at Madison on Marsh for 6 months. He has greatly benefited from living there due yo his medication given regularly, the social interaction with staff, and the decent food provided 3 times a day. The staff has been great toward my father in acknowledging him and keeping him active. I really appreciate the Activity Director who sees that my father is cared for and engaged in daily activities. This gives such peace of mind to our family to know our father is well cared for.

Do not send your family or friends to this facility. Staff are unprofessional and rude. Staff does not help residents use the restroom and yell at family members of residents.

Some of staff does not wear badges. Per the state law all employees should wear badges. When you ask them to wear one they think you are wrong of asking them . Anyone can walk into your room and you will not know who it is. Then your loves ones is in dangerous. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE and the staff think they are in control of your health (missing giving medication) . The Executive Director is RUDE not professional. They miss taking residents vital signs. DO NOT TAKE YOUR LOVERS THERE if you loves them.

The staff members at The Madison on Marsh were fairly friendly. The management was kind of slow to respond sometimes. They may or may not get back with you so you had to follow up with them a little bit more. The rooms were very nice and very clean. My uncle did not have an electric bed, but it was still comfortable. They had activities and they took him to a couple of his doctors' appointments.

My very frail MIL was a resident here from Aug 2021 to March 2022, when she passed. When the hospital said she needed full time care, Madison on Marsh was on the list and close to our home. It was clean and cheery, welcoming and staff were attentive to residents. Hospice was also part of the team and we were able to have more visits with our relative than we thought possible. We could not possibly provide such great care to Doris in our home and so grateful that such facilities exist. When the time came for help with costs, the business office assisted us with the Medicaid application. I was so happy to leave this duty to the professionals. Thanks again to Madison on Marsh for all their care in so many ways. My MIL had to eat pureed food which she did not always enjoy, but it was dr's orders. The staff did their best to provide activities, but she was non ambulatory and too frail for Wheel chair.

My mother was moved from hospital to The Madison on Marsh 8/2017, for continued rehab. I selected it because a friend who is very particular told me her husband had been there and they loved it. I knew nothing about the insurance which Medicare stopped paying after 3 months; and we owed money to Madison. The finance office was very helpful. When I told them about her situation, that her home had been destroyed and her dementia was getting worse, they found her a long term bed, got her on Medicaid and other things to make her stay less of a burden on mother and our family. This is the kind of response I have gotten from most of the staff since she's been there. Madison even offered the Covid VAX to Primary Care Givers so we could start getting in to take care of our folks. For my family we feel blessed to have found Madison. They have been our eyes and ears to mother when we can't be there. She can't live alone like she wants to but I feel that mother is safe and happy at Madison.

Do not and I repeat do not put your loved one here if you care for them. This was a nightmare of a experience. No one will return your call or inform you of what is happening with your loved one.

Do not put your loved one here. The Administrative staff is horrible! Because we live on the other side of the country, a social worker was assigned to her when she needed to go to the hospital. They recommended Madison and told us they would be able to follow her can since we are out of state. We never heard from the Social Worker again. You can never speak to anyone when you call at Madison because they are always "in a meeting." We had our relative there for over a year and were advised by Doctors not to move her closer to us out of state because of her mental/medical condition. We called several times a week, when they would answer the phone. When she passed, they claimed they left a message for us to call, but after looking through all phone messages on cell and house, we never received the call. They never followed up and we learned of our loved ones death 2 days later from the hospital she was transferred to. The Administrative staff never once call to offer their condolences or to ask if we needed anything. 2 1/2 weeks later after we buried her, I had to call to speak to the Director who gave me lots of excuses. There has got to be a better place to place your loved one!

My mother was in rehab at Madison on Marsh. What a frustrating experience! Communication was either non-existent or misleading. Discharge was a nightmare: disorganized, chaotic, lacking or incorrect information, and included a breakdown in communication with no customer service. We will not consider using this facility again and will not recommend it.

My 82 years old Mother was in this facility for 2 weeks and she almost got kill in this place. The first day she was transferred , she has to suffered all night with pain after surgery because no medication was giving to her till next morning when I walked in and asked for it, because she did have a prescription from her surgeon . A few days after she started hallucinating about everything, developing also a cold and cough. However nothing was prescribed until I asked 3 days after she was coughing to dead. After a few days with the treatment giving she got worst and her mind was complete off making her to fall down and ending with a FRACTURE NOSE ,FRACTURE NECK , NOSE LACERATION AND PNEUMONIA. Nothing was done or even called 911. Not mentioning that a couple of time her bed was covered with ants. There is a foul odor in the facility .. Upon arrival at the facility the receptionist greeted us and told us how to get to the room. Only the aid greeted us after getting to the room and we were never given a tour and met with an Administrator until the after incident happened . My Mother still in the hospital and having complication but even in her present condition , mysteriously returned to her 5 senses and since than she has not again hallucinated. I would never recommend Madison on Marsh because the staff doesn't seem to care with the exception of very a few nurses and a few aids.

Three months ago my mother was admitted to Madison on Marsh following abdominal surgery. High praises for all involved with my mom's care. Rehab was fantastic. At first our family thought it would be good idea to hire a sitter. But after seeing that all her needs were being met, the worries of her feeling alone and scared quickly subsided. Pain management, quick response time by all nursing staff for just about everything was what my mom recieved. I do not base my decisions from reviews on any website. Anyone can write a review, whether positive or negative. I can't judge a restaurant, vehicle, lawn mowing service, daycare much less a hospital unless I see them in action. With great professionalism via care, respect, dignity and hearts of gold, Madison on Marsh provided the care my mother needed. Thank you so much MoM.

My grandfather was recently at the Madison on Marsh. He was in the need of rehab after surgery. I was reading the reviews and I went through the same experience when it comes to the medication. I was with him when he admitted, he was in pain and his medications were not in the facility yet. The nurse pointed out a "patient expectation" sheet on his nightstand explaining the whole transfer/admission process, it explains that legally the facility can't order the medications until patient is actually admitted. After that, nurse went to an emergency box, and got a pain pill for him while his medications were ordered and delivered. After his pain was controlled his stayed was more pleasurable one. other than him not liking a few items from the menu. I was able to bring him food every other day and that made him happy. call lights were answered on time, response time got a little slower over the weekend, but wasn't bad. Overall, he was there for rehab, they got him back to his feet. and I thank them for that!

My parent went to the Madison on Marsh for therapy after surgery and what a nightmare! The Staff is completely inept to giving anyone care. They left my parent in their soiled clothes for more than 8 hours and never once admitted that they knew anything was wrong. THIS IS THE WORST PLACE YOU COULD PUT YOUR LOVED ONE IN!!!!!!!!! I WOULD RATHER DIE THAN STAY AT THIS FACILITY. THE HEALTHBOARD IS CONSTANTLY VISITING THEM WITH REPORTS FROM RESIDENCES AND THEIR FAMILIES. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!!!

My father went to Madison on Marsh to recuperate on a broken ankle, and they tried to let him walk on that broken ankle even if he’s not ready yet. They locked him and won’t allow him to go outside at all.

My mom was at the center for about a month for rehab. Although the facility looks nice, do you care my mother received was horrific! Like many of the residents there she was unable to walk in care for her own bathroom needs and was left in soiled clothes and diapers on a regular basis for the entire day. It seems that you have to act like a fool and scream over and over to get one too right now that it seems that you have to act like a fool and scream over and over to get anyone to acknowledge your needs. The aids are extremely rough while changing and caring for the patients. Her clothes was lost numerous times. She was discharged with huge sores between her legs from the soiled wet clothes she constantly sat in. Her pic line was nearly ripped out of her arm by an inexperienced nurse. While I'm sure there are a few caretakers there who have a heart to be there and I'm here for the right reasons and many are not! My mother will definitely not be back!

Not impressed !! My mother stayed at this place for a short while after a hospital stay. She was in need of a place to do physical therapy/rehabilitation. The Madison was convenient geographically and most importantly "in network" for her insurance provider. They advertise physical therapy, and do some, but their focus is obviously on long term care not on rehabilitation for patients intending to return home. After my mother staying there for a little over a week it was obvious her condition was declining rather than improving so we had her readmitted to the hospital for further care. My impression of The Madison is that they are short staffed, and although many staff members are working hard at providing an adequate level of care, many others are not. My mother was repeatedly told to wait when she needed assistance to get into the restroom, and left unattended for extended periods in a dirty diaper, bed sores were untreated, and so on. I have no prior experience with this type of facility, so I cannot comment on how the level of care compares to others, but I am not impressed with The Madison on Marsh, and my mother will NOT be back !!

i had fallen and fractured my shoulder and a compression fracture in my back of course the pain was incredible but as i was getting the meds i needed i was able to be somewhat more comfortable. the hospital called Madison and told them i was coming and what meds i would need. taken by ambulance and when i arrived there were no meds to help me and no doctor for a prescription. the pain was so bad, my family decided i should go back to the hospital. they called an ambulance service and i went back to the hospital where my pain was brought under control.. the hospital couldn't keep me so it was another ambulance and back to Madison. later the next day i started receiving the meds. things went well when they finally started scheduling my meds. i was moved to 4 different rooms during my stay. finally got settled. some of the staff are real caregivers. some not. they do try and make patients comfortable. the rehab facilities are very good and the technicians were great. i wish the beginning wasn't so utterly disruptive considering the pain that i was in and the multiple ambulance rides. (of course i had to pay for them)

My stepfather was in The Madison on Marsh because he was sick and they offered 24/7 care. They offered everything and it was a really nice place. I was satisfied with the care and service they have given.

The building is beautiful, but I became concerned when i was told to look at past inspections: Specifically QRS scores that the state posts. I looked at the cantex website, which took me to the Madison scores which were horrible. They received two Level 4 citations, which i bleieve are the worst ratings a building could get.
