My father is at Creekside Terrace Rehabilitation. The staff is wonderful. However, they're extremely short-staffed, and he is not getting the proper amount of therapy weekly, which is what I don't care about the place, because they're still reporting that he is getting the care that he needs weekly. His room is very clean and kept clean. It's not welcoming in any way, but the shower and bathroom accommodations are wonderful. The bed mattress is a little thin. It's a nice facility and they keep the whole place very clean. The food is horrible, and my dad has lost 20 pounds since being there because he just doesn't eat. And I tasted it, too. It just wasn't good, but they do give you salt, pepper, and butter so you can kind of spice it up a little bit.

My Mom had been there for 3 plus years. While at times, they were short-handed, the staff who took care of my mom were very kind and caring to her. During her last days on earth, they accommodated the family with a private room, coffee and snacks, and extra care that you could not get if she had been in hospital. Staff members took their time to come and check on her while we were there, even if they had other things going on. I will always be grateful. There is no perfect nursing home, but the staff tried their best to do for the residence. As any job, there are some bad apples and that reflects the overall image of the place.

Minimal actual rehab. My father in law was recovering from a broken hip and they let him languish in bed with pseudo rehabilitation instead of getting him walking again. A staff member even informed us that if he was not given proper rehab that would strengthen hips and legs. To top it off, he broke a second hip while there. Definitely not a place that I recommend.

I came to rehabilitation and was never taken from my room. The only rehab I got in two weeks was that I was put in a wheelchair and left for four hours. The food was meager with no fresh fruit or vegetables. I cannot recommend Creekside in any way.

My Grandmother was in the hospital for a few weeks after an accident. She was told she would need Physical Therapy and constant care so she thought of Creekside right away. She had multiple friends go there in the past few years so she thought it would be great, plus it was not too far from the family. Day 1 there were issues with staff and food quality and by issues I mean 8+ hours without changing her and the "Grilled Cheese" being 2 slices of bread, 1 piece of cheese and 1 piece of meat, ungrilled... not even put together as a sandwich on the plate. Her "major achievement" last week was sitting in a chair for 2 hours. They let her lay in bed all day long and just shove drugs into her to keep her quiet and take her money. Recently she was having issues with her blood sugar, no one was responding to the call button so she called my mother, my mother then called Creekside and no one answered the first call, so she called my grandmothers nurse directly and the issue was solved after that but there is no reason in a facility designed for rehabilitation that her blood sugar should ever be an issue. Creekside needs to have someone audit them fully and thoroughly before they end up causing someones loved family member serious harm.

Got my wife out of there (thank god) they do not care , they call them a rehabilitation center well that's a joke my wife was in there for over two weeks and all they did was sat her on the edge of the bed and left her by her self. she could have fallen and no one would have ever known. we live in temple and she needed to be changed I was on the phone with her for about 15 minutes during that time she pushed the call button about 5 or 6 time and no one showed up so I got ready and went up there went to front by the time someone answered it had been 47 minutes and she still had not been cleaned all together the call button was pushed about 20 time and all they did was cut it off and no one ever showed up till I got there and they said they did not want to cross contaminate well my question to them was how would you know if you never showed up in her room to find out what was wrong. That happened a second time about 3 days later again no one ever answered the call button so you can imagine how mad I was I made a lot phone calls and got a few people mad at me but that's okay well quite frankly I don't care I got my wife taken care of moved her to another rehabilitation facility

Horrible!!!!! My sister was there and I had to call 911 and get her out of there, there care is dangerous. My sister was admitted to the hospital with heart failure , despite her having shortness of breath they REFUSED to do anything they wouldn’t even get a chest X-ray! If that isn’t enough when she first got there her oxygen level was low so they put her on oxygen but that’s all they did. My sister is not normally on oxygen, she wasn’t on oxygen before being transferred there either, well needless to say we asked them to get a chest X-ray as this was not normal for her and they didn’t want to do that, eventually I convinced them to get one: she had pneumonia. She had had surgery less then a week before, meaning she was at a high risk for pneumonia yet they felt it was ok to ignore. Please don’t put your loved one here, it is very unsafe!!!! Looks good but beware they are horrible.

Worst place ever!! It was clean, at first. Not enough nurses or aides-most were lazy. PT & OT was a joke. Rehabilitation should not be part of their name. Barely anything Was done at their sessions, if there were sessions. Aides would not change diapers until they were ready to; even if the call light was on for hours. If someone couldn't sleep at night, the "phych" doctor (a PA) would see them & prescribe antipsychotics without informing the family. She even told the resident that their family called him/her crazy!!! The wheelchairs are old & uncomfortable. There's only one lift available per hallway. Basically, the staff doesn't care & management doesn't like the family to be involved with what happens to the patients. They say they do, but actions don't show it!!! Please, don't put a loved one here!

This facility has gone above and beyond my expectations while my mother was there. The staff at Creekside is AMAZING. The therapy department is also incredible. They were so caring when it came to working with my mother. I highly recommend Creekside Terrace.

My mother was moved to Creekside from Mckinney Texas to be closer to me. That was the best decision i could have ever made. My mother has Guillain Barre Disease. She has made incrediable progress since being there. The staff is just amazing, my mother can be difficult and they are just so patient and caring with her!! The therapy room is the best I've seen, and the therapy staff is truly amazing!!! We've taken the time to get to know everyone there and it sure has made it extra nice. It's a relief to go in to to see our mother being happy and healthy!! Can't say it enough how happy we are with Creekside!!!!

This place was absolutely terrible. Patient complaints, hard food, and staff arguing. I would be extremely cautious. I do not recommend this place. Utterly disgusted. And the food made my family member sick. Their management skills could improve and treatment of Staff members could improve period i as a guest should not have to witness staff discipline.
Unfortunate.

My grandmother was recently a resident here and I was shocked to discover just how deceiving the looks were. Basically, she was sent here with nothing but the report that she "had a stroke and could walk,' at this time she was 3 days post admission, and still hadn't been given a shower. My mother, sister and I are all nurses or other medical professionals and certainly know how this is supposed to work. It was very clear that my grandma had a significant change in her condition within the time she was there, and when we started questioning things, why they hadn't been done, what were her lab results etc, it became very clear that she was simply another resident that they knew nothing about. The purpose of this review, is to inform any inquiring minds that are potentially considering this place as an option, of just how unfortunate the situation is here, at this time. As a healthcare professional myself, I witnessed specific errors and mistakes regarding medications and patient safety standards that no respectful healthcare organization would ever make. I take care of patients every single day of my life, as do many of my relatives and if I wouldn't want my grandmother here, you shouldn't want yours ether. The place is clean and it appears to be great, I only wish I hadn't been so disappointed in the suboptimal care that is given to the residents. Sure, they'll put on a smile for you, they'll even stop and answer your questions but the answers that they give you are inadequate and unacceptable to any standards of care. Perhaps this place being so new, they're still working out the kinks but I would give them some time to do so before I trusted them with any relative of mine again. I want to be clear that there were some providers here that attempted to help and that I feel were helpful the entire duration of my grandmothers stay, however the majority is what prompted me to write this review.

My purpose in writing this is to complement the folks at Creekside for the wonderful care that I got recently. After surgery and a complication after surgery, I was unable to do much of anything. Upon coming to Creekside for a six-week stay, I was put to work by their rehab department where I was worked hard with firmness and kindness, and made rapid physical progress. I can now walk on my own and have recently reunited with my pickup truck, and am even successfully driving on my own. I am now able to do things that I was able to do on my own before surgery. The nicest most helpful nurses and support staff populate the rehab end of Creekside! I was treated with respect and kindness. My time at Creekside was a real growing experience for me! They are a great rehab center.

This place is a joke! My aunt was there for rehab due to a fractured pelvis. The first night she was there the nurse told her she couldn't get up to use the bathroom and that she needed to use her brief and they would change her. The facility assured me they could meet her diet needs and that was a lie. She can't have beef or pork and what do they send? Chicken fried steak! It took a week for her to get a shower and clean sheets. The last night she was there the aide came in to give her grief about a staff member and was asked to get out of my aunts room. I demanded to speak to the administrator and she asked what happened. I told her and she asked me what I expected her to do at 11:30 at night. I said don't do anything I'll handle it. Well I go ton pick her up and they had my aunt with her things sitting by the door waiting on me. I wouldn't place my dog there. Please stay away from this place. The only good thing about this place is pt.

Two surgeries whose aftermath left me in need of extensive rehab. The first one left me unable to walk. I was in two seperate facilities, one in Round Rock & one in Temple. Neither once was able to improve my situation. I live in Belton, so finally I decided to move to Belton in order to make it easier for my wife to visit. My son came to Belton to check out facilities and decided Creekside was the place to go. It has become my home away from home when I need help and encouragement. The staff is great, rehab has been very effective, and the surroundings are extremely pleasant. Today I have been released to go home. Thanks to Creekside I am now able to return home and to work.. If you have loved ones in need of a rehab type facility, Creekside Terrace is the absolute best I know of.

My Father has been in rehab and I want to recognize the staff for their professional skills. They are cheerful, patient, and aware of my fathers needs. The nursing staff has also been very helpful in keeping us informed and answering any questions. The calls to the house have kept us informed to any changes in his condition. One CNA has been a remarkable and caring individual. He speaks softly, gets dad to cooperate, and is very caring. I am grateful my father is being watched over in such a manner.

Our experience with Creekside Terrace is very favorable. We are very pleased with the rehab department which is our reason for being here. This is my husbands second stay. We were so pleased the first time and had such good results that we chose to come back for my husbands second round of rehab. We are very pleased overall (from nursing staff, aides, doctor care, food, housekeeping, and maintenance). They have met all our expectations.

My husband and I would like to thank all the nurses, aides, and staff who have shown us such kindness and care while we have been here. Their kindness and devotion to duty have made our stay much easier. The therapy department have contributed to his being able to continue to improve. Thank you and God Bless you as you continue to serve those in need.

The facility looks great, and the rehabilitation is very good, but the day-to-day care of the patient is not. My mother was a patient at Creekside for nearly two months. When she entered the facility her skin was clear with no sores. She is incontinent and would sometimes sit in her wheelchair with urine dripping on the floor, because the staff did not check her every two hours as per standard care guidelines. I complained many times about this, but there was little change. The sores she developed at Creekside took months to clear up after she left the facility. The management is aware of the problem, but does not seem to be able to make effective change.

Creekside Terrace Rehabilitation is a wonderful facility. My family and I toured their building and were very impressed with the spacious rooms. I really liked the fact that the facility provided a spa for skin care needs. This will be wonderful for my mother who cannot The rehabilitation gym was also another addition in the facility that I was very impressed with. I saw residents exercising each with a private instructor. We were able to sit outside with my mother in their courtyard because she asked to see the birds. It brought me peace of mind knowing that my mother could potentially be happy hear when the time comes.

The building looks amazing, it is the kind of place I would like to be when my time comes. I am looking for a place to put my Aunt since her dementia is getting past the point that I can care for her and I feel that this is the place. It made a huge difference to have the staff smile and greet me as I am taking a tour. They are so friendly and welcoming. I think they will give the same friendly smiles and loving attitude to my aunt.

This is a fabulous facility! Brand new and feels like a place you would want to call home. The warm, welcoming environment is felt as soon as you walk through the doors. The staff seem very attentive to their residents and seem to really enjoy what they do.

I recently toured this facility for my grandmother and I was really impressed with the facility. It is a brand new place and looks absolutely gorgeous. On top of that the rehab gym is HUGE! The staff also looked like they were attentive to patients needs. I definitely think this would be a good fit for anyones family member.

At first, Creekside wasn't great because they just moved into this new facility. The facility itself is really nice, but I think they are going through some growing pains because they came from a smaller facility into this really large one. They got rid of the director of nursing, and they got a new director now, so things are starting to get better. It is a really nice place. The staff there is not the greatest, but they are getting better. Yes, I would recommend them. They are OK. It is not the greatest facility, but I am sure it is not the worst either. They need better staff -- better nurses. My mother-in-law said the food during the week is good, but on the weekends it is not the greatest. So for the most part, the food is pretty good; it looks like the food is good. It is a really clean, really nice facility.
