Affinity at Southpark Meadows

I would highly recommend Affinity at Southpark Meadows. They were wonderful to work with. There's a girl there by the name of Liz who just did a superb job. I'm very pleased with the way in which she dealt with me and educated me about the place and expenses, and went through it very carefully and conscientiously. She did a wonderful job. I'm completely independent. I'm just totally on my own. The community is very attractive, very appealing, and very European looking on the outside. Everybody seems to have flowers on the balconies, and lights at night. It's a very appealing place both night and day. The facilities are excellent. The people are extremely nice and extremely welcoming, both the staff and the residents. I really couldn't be any happier at this point. I do my own cooking. I am not dependent upon them for anything. They have a library, and they have a woodworking room for people who like to use saws, and things like that. Their library is very adequate. They have a fitness center, a swimming pool, and a sauna. They have a game room, and every Wednesday night they have what they call a dilly dally bar from 4:00 to 5:30. It's very adequate. It meets the needs of about any interest that the residents would have. I've only been here a little bit, so I'm just basically trying to get moved in and out and things like that. They have different activities. As far as I'm concerned, it's really a nice place to live. I'm very satisfied and happy with it.

There was a man that helped us, and he was really nice. The people were nice. We liked the facility, it was very nice. They have activities for the residents, and it was more than what we expected. They have a movie theater, and they got a lot of stuff.

I have my own place at Affinity at Southpark Meadows. It's an active community, and I like that we have several things going on during the week. However, it's a little bit pricier than a number of other places, and they don't provide meals; you have to pay extra for that. There are three main people. There are two people that work on maintenance and one lady that does housekeeping, which is mainly vacuuming of the halls and general areas, and they're all pretty good. I've been able to use them for different things I need to get done. They have meals, but I got signed up on it late. All of our apartments are pretty well furnished with cooking as far as a stove and oven. We just have to supply ourselves with pots, pans, and plates. It's pretty clean. The only discrepancy is they have a pool house and a Jacuzzi in the pool house, but it's been broken and they're working on fixing the pump. They have rooms for different activities such as a golf room, a pool table, shuffleboard, and a library. They have a coffee machine and a room for family who come visit. They have pickleball, a gardening area, a place for your dog where it can run around, a workshop, and a card room. However, there are other places that could provide the same thing for not as much money.

I'm in Affinity at Southpark Meadows. This is a wonderful place. They don't serve food here. Independent living doesn't serve you food; you have your own kitchen and appliances. The staff is good. They're wonderful. They provide TV and Wifi. They provide everything. You don't have any bills or any utilities. Everything is with the rent; everything is provided. They have a dining area, craft room, library, pool area, internet room, and community room. They have everything. They have a theater activity, card games, and pool exercises. All kinds of activities.

My father has moved into Affinity at Southpark Meadows. It is a very nice place. It is a new location with a lot of amenities. They have a game room, a computer room, and different gatherings during the week. The rooms are very nice. They're not very big, but there's a good space. I have met the front desk receptionist and the other people that work there; they're very nice people. Based on the other ones that I have gone through, their pricing is really good because it is very reasonable.
