My mother has already been placed in Interlochen Health and Rehab Center. Our experience has been fine. She's been there now for a little bit, and I am having to communicate back and forth with the staff to help her get adjusted. All is well. The staff has been very helpful. Since I have not been able to go into the place and help my mom set up, they've been very helpful with emails and phone calls to work with the family. They've been very good. I would suggest they work with the family more to see what the patient needs ahead of time before assuming, because with COVID we couldn't go inside the facility. There were some issues in the very beginning where my mom's room was not set up the way it was supposed to be and everything. It was the next day that I discovered that her bed had not had her sheets on. Had the nursing staff met with me prior to her being admitted, we could've worked together to have a better flow of setup for my mom's room. So far, I'm pleased with the interaction that I'm having with the staff. They're working well with the family, answering my questions, and responding to my concerns. I'm rating them so high because they get right back to me immediately with concerns that I have, they respond quickly to my emails and phone calls, so they're working well with the family to help to get my mother adjusted.

I stayed at this facility 23 days for rehab due to a broken fibula on my left ankle. I must brag about the fantastic staff that took care of me during my stay. Absolutely wonderful people! The staff should be recognized for the ongoing care, patience, knowledge, positive attitude. I could always depend on the staff for expert performance. The staff always put my needs first. This was my first time to undergo surgery for a broken bone and I couldn't be happier staying at this facility. It made, "my first rodeo" one where I made new friends and was under the care of such caring professionals. The rooms are spacious and handicapped friendly. Very clean and kept clean by the fun loving housekeeping staff! The Physical Therapy staff is one you can't beat! Tammy and all the PT staff go well above and beyond your expectations/needs! What a great team they are! I'm still amazed at the knowledge and the many different treatments they have at their fingertipss! The facility gym is very clean, organized, well equipped with everything and more for rehabilitation! I HIGHLY recommend Interlochen Rehab in Arlington! You won’t find better care!

The nursing staff has kept us informed of mom's progress and provided updates regarding any concerns related to Covid19. The business office has been extremely helpful with the necessary forms for Medical coverage and keeping us informed of the status throughout this process. Thank you C.S. You are truly a blessing and we appreciated C.S. working tirelessly getting Medical coverage going and always be courteous and always calling back when she said she would. She was just wonderful to our family and we will never forget her kindness and how professional she is.

My mother in law arrived there today at 1pm just called me crying at 4am that they hadn’t given her pain medicine in OVER 12 HOURS!!! She broke her leg and is there for rehab... so I called and I’m told they can’t do anything without doctors orders she has been on Dilaudid for about 15 years at least because of all her back surgeries and now she broke her leg which they just put screws in and they won’t give her any medicine!!! It is horrible when your loved one just wants you to come pick her up.... SHE HAS BEEN THERE OVER 12 HOURS!!! That’s plenty of time for the doctor to have came in and this is her second stay there.... it should all be on her chart anyway!! IT IS THE SAME MEDICINE SHE ALWAYS TAKES!!! DO NOT TAKE ANYONE HERE!!!

This facility need to be shut down. I had a relative here for wound care and each time we would come visit the machine was either broken, not changed or clean. The mat would not be changed or have a clean sheet unless you tell or ask why. They simply stated that there were not enough face towels to issue to the patients. Rude employees with very nasty attitudes.

I picked this place for my mother to rehab with some Physical & Occupational Therapy after a 7 day stay @ MCA Hospital. She was treated for a foot infection. Her first 2 nights she slept on a hard bed with no side rails, so for her safety the bed was lowered a couple inches off the floor & rubber mats were placed on the sides of the bed. Night 3 they had her on the Medical air mattress bed that should have been there upon her arrival. Day 4 & 5 she was sleepy, weak & couldn't keep food or liquids down. Morning of the 6th day , I was there for her Breakfast & Medications. Long story short , They were only giving her 3 of the 14 prescriptions that is on the MCA DISCHARGE MEDICATIONS LIST. Tina corrected moms medications @ that point. Morning Day 7 , I talked to Robert & he assured me that every things going to be alright. That evening while I was there with her. 911 had to be called. mom spent a few days in Arlington Memorial Hospital's ICU but couldn't overcome it. I'M SORRY MOM+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

i just placed my mother in law last weekend. the staff was great they seemed to care for all the residents as if they are their own family. there was no nursing home smell. the administrative staff are very friendly and professional. I will post again in around a month or so . but first impression is its a older facility but well taken care of and run well.

My sister is in here and on a wound vac which seems to be beyond them to keep running and is getting very irritating and on top of that they just don't care one way or another. One of the nurses who usually works in memory care made a comment that she hated the wound vac and that it really wasn't needed and walked out of the room....when it went off on Saturday night 3 came in and just looked at it....when I left at 1:30 of Sunday this same nurse reassured me that the wound care nurse was coming in at 2 and would have it on. My sister called this morning Monday and it was still not on I guess they really don't care one way or another as it is not there loved one in danger of loosing her foot.....It is really frustrating....train you nurses on the wound vac, this is the 2nd time this has happened...frustrating....I guess its true Texas has the worse nursing home care

The staff is friendly and competent. The facility is clean to the point of not having that "nursing home smell". Any and all problems are handled quickly and efficiently. Surprisingly, the food is excellent!

My grandmother is in this place and it is terrible. They don't change patients fist of all. My grandmother sat in her own waste for a hour and a half when I was there and that was with my going to the nursing station numerous times. When someone finally came in she had attitude and was being rough and hurting my grandmother. That is only the first of many problems. I would not suggest the facility to any one.

If you value your family members do not put them in this place. Turn around and run for the door. I witnessed them manhandle my grandfather on several occasions. They also did not properly clean his dentures would just put them in water instead of using his Efferdent that he had there. I know this because a brand new box sat un opened for THREE WEEKS. They always had an excuse of why this or that happened would not take responsibility for anything. Thank goodness we got him out and is doing so much better.

The staff was very attentive to my needs during my stay. There was a glitch when I first checked in on a Friday evening, but the staff was attentive to correcting all issues as soon as possible on Monday morning. I could not compliment the administrative staff, the nurses, the aides, and the maintenance crew enough.. A big thanks goes out to the physical therapists and occupational therapists on staff. Their work with me was outstanding. I would have rated this facility higher if it were not for the meals served. There was too much processed and canned foods served. Fresh fruits and vegetables were nonexistent.. I had food brought in by my wife or friends or ordered delivery so that I could get meals that I felt met my dietary requirements.

Nursing staff seemed competent, and halls looked and smelled clean. However, my sister was never checked by staff doctor. Meals were bad, sandwiches, lots of pork, no fresh veggies.

My dad has stayed in this facility twice while needing some rehabilition and has always had good experiences. If we needed to go to rehab again, we would chose them. The therapy team is really nice. The food could use some work though.

OMG. The care of my sister is terrible. She's been there over 24 hours and still they don't have the correct medicine for her, they haven't given her her insulin shots, the potty chair beside her bed .. it is broke and she has to hold the pot underneath of herself and that wasn't working so they stuck a plastic bag under the seat. ... she doesn't have a sheet on her bed to put between her and the rubber mattress.. she had a bad nose bleed and it took over 45 min. before she got help.. they do not have her on a diabetic diet. THIS PLACE IS AWFUL.

My sister is at Interlochen Health and Rehab Center. The facility's cleanliness is okay, but the food is terrible. There is too much salt and they don’t have any special diet. She is a heart patient so she shouldn’t be getting salt and fat. I've seen salads that were just coated with mayonnaise. The doctor has done nothing for her. They stopped the rehab because they are not doing anything for her. The only thing my sister like in this facility is that she has peace and quiet as they don’t bother her much and they let her keep a little potty by her bed so she can use it at night and that is the only reason why she stayed there.

This is totally true still to now 1-2013...Patients do not get adequate nursing AT all. One patient I visited called with the emergency button in the bathroom and no one responded for over 5 minutes! Called for help to get out of bed to go to restroom and it took almost half hour before she just had to pee in her bed. The food is all dried out and mostly tasteless. The inside of the broken dressers were caked with dried up blood or something....I didnt even want to ask.....Patients sit in the hallways and scream "help me, help me",,,,,they are ignored....
