My mother-in-law moved into Evening Star Personal Care Home. The grounds are very well cared for, and the place is clean. The buildings are in good repair. There's a nice parking lot. They do not have a large turnover in their staff. The staff is very caring and very knowledgeable. The interior of the place is a home, not an institution or a facility. And when you go in, it looks like a home. They have activities every day that range from crafts to bingo. They offer snacks several times a day. They have a menu that is to be envied, it's excellent. And they have a very good routine for cleaning the residents. The house itself is impeccable. I can't find anything wrong with it.

We put my mother in Evening Star Personal Care Home LLC. We liked the way it felt. This feels like a home and not a medical facility. Their rooms are kind of like all of them that I've been to. They've got the kitchens, they've got the living rooms, and they've got these halls where they've got rooms. They've got private ones and joint ones. They only hold 15 people, so it's not very big. They have a beauty salon and a therapy room, and that's it. Everybody that I met was nice. I've met like four of them. I've met the lady that runs it, Darla, and her main person during the day, Jessica, and they're both super nice. The staff all seemed very skilled and very attentive. I think they pretty much run like everybody else, but they're a little bit cheaper.

My mother was a resident of Evening Star Personal Care Home. It was good. They had double occupancy rooms and private rooms with adequate space to meet the residents' needs. The staff members were all knowledgeable and well-trained. A concern did arise, but it was taken care of. I can't complain about the care that my mother received there. They had healthy menus. My mother ate their food without complaint. They had bingo on a daily basis, they had worship services, and they played games and did puzzles.
