The food is beyond horrible. Most of the food ends up in the trash as the residents can't or won't eat it. It's a shame because the staff are very caring and attentive. Activities are good and the place is clean and livable. They have a very hard time keeping staff in the cafeteria. Currently, they have reduced the operating hours for the cafeteria, and they have caregivers being forced to wait tables - all the wait staff have left and haven't been replaced. If they could figure out how to make edible food and staff appropriately in the kitchen this place would be great. Looking to move my mother as the food is just so terrible. My mother takes pictures of the food, and I see it myself. I am getting her a microwave so that she can heat up good food in her room. Looking for a new place as well.

Morada Friendswood was clean. The rooms were more like an apartment, which I liked, and had a nice size. But it looked like it was time for an upgrade of the carpet and furniture. The staff was very, very nice. They took me around to every part of the amenities. They were very, very friendly. The dining area was a nice size. There was plenty of room for everybody to sit, and it was very nice.

Morada Friendswood is our first choice for my uncle. The problem was the only availability they had is in their larger room, and it was really out of our price range, and we were looking for their smaller suite. After talking with them, after we left, we called them back, and they're willing to let my uncle stay in the larger room at the cost of the smaller room price until the smaller room becomes available. I got a warm and a very positive feeling when we came in. It was welcoming. It was very clean. The residents that we saw just immediately appeared to be happy. We really liked the lady that we visited with. Her name was Carla and she works both with memory care and the regular residents. She met with us. She took time to listen to our information about our uncle and kind of where we were in the process. She offered a lot of really good suggestions about why he may be struggling with some memory issues that we were seeing, but she was not pushing us to memory care. She really focused on the whole resident. They wanted them to feel like this was their home and that we were welcome there and that they would have activities for them. She listened to what he enjoyed doing and really worked on what they provided that supports what he already enjoys doing. The dining room was very clean. I really liked the setup of the dining room. It was very cozy. We were able to see the menu. They had a good selection of items. The residents were eating it and weren't complaining.

I toured Morada Friendswood. It seemed clean and very warm. The director was extremely helpful and seemed genuinely concerned, not like she was just trying to sell you on her place. We just felt good vibes from it. The apartments were laid out very nicely, and spacious compared to some that I've seen. I liked it. They had bathrooms in them, personal bathrooms, not all shared. The amenities of the common areas there are nicely set up almost like a living area. It kind of looks like you're in a little shopping area type thing. It was just nice. Carlo, the person who gave us the tour, is excellent.

I went to Morada Friendswood on Sunday. The lady was very nice and very attentive. However, I didn't like it because the set-up that my parents would be in reminded me of an adjoining room hotel and it just felt like I would be living in a hotel. The activities that they had didn't seem as many as in the other place, and it was more expensive. Morada Friendswood was nice and clean. The atmosphere was pleasant. I just didn't like the rooms at all. We went into the dining room and visited some of the residents. The food looked appetizing. But I didn't get a chance to sample any of it. Activities seemed very basic. I didn't see areas for physical therapy as they did at the other place. They have an area set up for watching TV and church services and where they have an ice cream social. There was no smell, and it was a nice-looking building. It felt like you'd be living in a hotel. It just didn't feel right.

Morada Friendswood was a nice place. It seemed like it was well-kept, but the rooms were really small. The staff who toured me was very knowledgeable and helpful. She showed us everything around the place. She did her job. They supplied all type of amenities. It was near shopping, but it was a little bit out of reach of the mall and all the main stuff that people may want to go to. For me, it was a lot farther from my house.

My dad is a resident. I like the location; it's close to me. I like that the apartment is set up for older people; it has a walk-in bathroom, handrails, and an easily accessible kitchen area. It comes with meals, and it covers all the utilities. It's a flat rate, and it fits pretty much with what my dad needed. The staff works really hard. They're good folks, and they do a great job of filling in the gaps, but they're a little bit overworked. The maintenance folks are pretty good about getting stuff fixed, and the administration is really good about making sure things are right. However, my dad has a little bit of frustration every once in a while because it seems like they're very busy, and it's hard to get a hold of them. They have a dining area, and the menu is pretty good. My dad is a picky eater, and sometimes it is not so good, but the staff does a great job of checking to make sure he is OK and that he gets food he can eat. It's a great facility, but you can tell that they struggle a little bit to stay in the black. They have some challenging times, and they probably just need a little bit of focus. Also activities are limited by COVID right now.

My stepfather moved in. They'll be helping with bathing and giving him his meds. I like the people that I've dealt with down there. They were very accommodating. I initially did a virtual tour, then they allowed me to come down there and walk the grounds and kind of peek through the window of the room that I was looking at. One of the big plusses for me was it's all ground level. I looked at a couple that were two stories and I had very big reservations about a 95-year-old on an elevator. If the electricity goes out or if he got in there and got confused, I did not want him to be on the second or higher floor. A girl from the memory care part came and assessed him with the nurse. I've been very impressed with them both. I adore the lady who runs the concierge part. I'm happy down there. I'm pleased. It's a friendly atmosphere, it's nice, clean, and on the ground floor, which is a big plus for me with him being 95. I haven't run into any really major problems or anything. They've been very straightforward with anything, and they took care of everything. I haven't really been allowed to go anywhere in there yet with the pandemic. I did a virtual tour, then they came out here that day and assessed my stepfather. The nurse and the memory care person came out here in their masks and they had him get up and walk around. I told them at that point in time, this is a lot of money I'm gonna be spending, it's hard for me just to commit without seeing the space. So they allowed me to come down there the next day. They took me to the courtyard and let me look through the window and through the room. I was not allowed in the building, but they helped me out in that respect as well. The day I went down I signed the paperwork.

My mom moved in 2 months ago, and it's been pretty good. All the residents seem very happy, my mom presses her button for assistance, and they're there for like 5 minutes. She has a large room, she needed some modifications before she can move in, and they did it right away. It's been pretty well so far. They have bingo, they have exercise, sometimes twice a day, they have movies, they have a calendar, they have puzzles, and they keep them busy. The staff seemed very nice. It's a single story, and that helps my mom. It's an older building, but it's nice and clean.

We're very impressed. We saw a one-bedroom and the secured patient area for patients with Alzheimer's and memory problems. We're very impressed with the services that they provided and the price. The place was very clean and the residents looked very well-cared for.

It was a beautiful place with pretty surroundings, but our biggest disappointment was they didn't have a 2-bedroom apartment available. However, the apartments that we saw were really nice. They have a library, an exercise room, and a beautiful dining room.

We liked it but they had no availability. The memory care unit there was very nice. The residents are allowed to go outside. They have a lot of interaction. The rooms are very nice and very roomy. The staff seemed excellent. As far as activities, we didn't see a tremendous amount going on, but we did see some. They did not have any kind of leveled care. They have an outdoor garden area, a big community room where they do their activities, and a separate dining area which is very nice and especially set up for memory care folks.

It seemed very nice. They take Alzheimer's patients. There were a lot of elderly people working on jigsaw puzzles. They had a small library. The food seemed good for those who could walk and get to the dining hall.

I visited, The hallways were large. It had a lot of nice amenities. I saw one room, and it was fine. They had sitting areas down the hallways which was nice. It had a little movie theater, and I liked it. The outdoor courtyard was nice. We would have chosen it except that it was too far from our home. The staff was really friendly.

I liked a little bit more, and they had individual emergency button necklaces that they could wear, but they were more expensive because they had additional nurses for people who couldn’t get out of bed. The rooms were very nice; you had options to have 1 or 2-bedrooms. The staff was very nice, helpful, knowledgeable, and caring.

The staff was very attentive. They explained a lot of things to us. There was a memory care area and a regular resident section. The dining area was nice and looked inviting. It was decorated nicely and looked homey. There were little niches with couches in them, and people could get out of their rooms to watch TV.

We visited for my father-in-law, but he died last January. I liked that the property was very pretty and close to a lot of stores, shops, and our home, too. They had people come in to bring them shopping, and the whole staff was very accommodating. The whole place was very clean.

It was a very nice place. They talked to us about their activities in the activity room, like jewelry making and a lot of classes. From my short visit, the staff seemed very nice and friendly.

The staff of was friendly. The rooms were a bit small but clean and had everything you needed. I was really looking for respite care for my mom, so it would have only just been like a week. They had a dining room -- which seemed nice -- and a medication dispenser area. The dining area looked roomy enough, and they had it decorated nicely.

We had my father in which was close to our house and he was in hospice for about 5 days. They were excellent; I was very pleased with the facility. Even though he was only there for 5 days, I was also really pleased and satisfied with the hospice group that we dealt with. The rooms were OK. I never ate there but the food smelled good and looked good. Everything worked out.

I visited, and I like this place. It felt that you are walking into a really nice hotel. They have shared and unshared rooms for their residents. Their food looked good. They do outings as well.

It was nice and all that. It was something that we were considering. The rooms were a little bit small, but other than that, we liked the set-up. They had activities. Some of them had physical therapy. They did have a memory care unit. If they weren't able to go to the assisted living, you had the choice of a memory care which was nice too. They were very informative and the lady that told us all about it was very nice.

I would not live here. That was not up to my standards. The staff helped out all right. The rooms that I saw were for independent living. It depends on how much money you want to spend and what style of living you want. It is fairly basic. It could work for others.

We visited when we looked for a facility for mom. It was clean and the staff were friendly. They had all kinds of activities and a bus also took them to the doctor's or shopping. They had all the amenities like the other facility.

They were very responsive and they had actually put me in their mailing list and I hear from them once in a while. The staff was very courteous and responsive. The facility was very clean, the rooms very comfortable, cafeteria was clean, bright, and had a nice air about it. It's a comfortable facility. I saw notices on the wall of the schedule of activities. I know they have church services there, they have pastors and priests come in.

My girlfriends grandmother really likes this facility. The facility is physically nice and up to date. Group activities are provided, and little oversight is given to those who are self sufficient. Social, Physical, and Mental health seem to be at the forefront, and the wide range of tenants seems to testify to it. The facility IS located in a fairly well to do neighborhood that is technically within the Houston city limits but within it's own community. Most tenants live in individual housing with visits from staff members several times a day depending on the needs of said patient. If I was in my girlfriend's grandmother's place, I wouldn't be unsatiusfied (yes i know that's a double negative - still applies.)

I am the caretaker for myself and my husband who has suffered from a stroke. Our rep was very very nice. It was a nice clean facility. It wasn't enough space. They had no 2 bedroom units available. We ultimately decided to stay in our home when we came to the conclusion that going there was not going to help me help him. We think that in home health care assistance would be best.
