Staff ratio is 1:3 in smaller homes and 1:4 in larger homes. In most homes with 5+ residents, there are 2 caregivers on staff per day. We offer 3 nutritious meals and 2 snacks in all homes. Bertha's Care Home was nice, well kept, clean, and organized. The staff was professional and courteous. They have minimal activities, and those activities were structured just right for the residents that were there. They have an entertainment area that has television and movies available. It's like a private home. They have all the things needed to be protected protected, and the storage areas that were supposed to be locked were locked. It was very well organized. The one attendant I saw seemed to be interacting with the residents very well and they seemed comfortable and at ease with her.
