We chose The Arbors at South Breeze for my friend. The room was smaller than what he used to have, but its fine. Their food seems fine, and they have activities for the residents. The place is good, but when you look around half of the people are in wheelchairs and can't talk, so that doesn't really add to the impression. Most of the staff members are good. I had one person who didn't do a very good job, but the rest were OK.

At The Arbors at South Breeze, living with Alzheimer's becomes less of a challenge for you and your loved one. We combine the intimacy of assisted living with specialized care for dementia. The size of the Arbors promotes a comforting, calming environment. With no more than 15 rooms, the Arbors co-exists with a sister assisted living facility, yet remains separate. Care is provided in a building specifically designed with the care of the Alzheimer's resident in mind. We consider each resident's own strengths and weaknesses to weave a seamless cloth of individualized care. We also incorporate the latest approaches to this challenging disease into the daily routines and activities of all our residents. It's difficult to even search for proper care while tending to someone with Alzheimer's. Each day presents new challenges to patients and their caregivers. At the Arbors we offer a shelter of care and advice for the entire family.

Mother was a past resident of South Breeze. It was a small community, which I liked. It includes assisted living and memory care, which is good. It's clean, nicely setup (even in their shared rooms), and it included a private bedroom, and a small shared living room. They have multiple sizes of individual rooms, and they're spacious even with a walker or wheelchair. The staff is very good, but they do not encourage the residents to participate in activities as much as I would like, and they're understaffed. I don't love their med management because they transfer prescriptions to the company that they use, which takes the family member out of it.

My mom is in South Breeze. I love the rooms. I don’t have anything that they need to improve on. We 100 percent love it.

Our visit at South Breeze was good, and we liked this place. It was all-inclusive, but there was no extra cost based on medical needs or whatever other assistance needs. They don't have the different levels; it was all-included, and that was kind of nice.

The Arbors at South Breeze was a brand new facility. My mother-in-law had a one bedroom apartment. She had three meals a day, gave medical care and gave medications twice a day. The staff were good and my mother-in-law liked them. The place was beautiful, very spacious, very updated and had pretty furniture.
