We chose Germantown Plantation Senior Living for my mother. She went and reviewed it, and we liked that the facility itself didn't feel overwhelming, but her apartment is very large and spacious. We also liked that it had all a la carte services. So, she could be independent, but if she needed X amount of services, then that was available to her. Another thing that we liked was if things ever got to the point where she needed extended care, then they had an assisted living side. They have a lot of social events. I know they do offer water aerobics. They have physical therapy, bingo, card games, and other social things like that. My mom likes the food there. I haven't had any complaints. The staff is very nice and helpful. Everybody is polite and they're on top of things. I think it's been a good experience. The place is always super clean and nice.

The tour at Germantown Plantation Senior Living Community was good. The people were nice. The building and everything was a lot better than the other place. It was almost $5000 a month for a little bitty den, a little bitty bedroom, and part of a bathroom is ridiculous in my opinion. I saw a little independent apartment, but it's very little. It's so small. It's like being in an extended stay with a little bitty living room and kitchen. The staff who gave the tour was very nice. I didn't have a problem with them. They had women putting together a puzzle, and they had a nice dining room. I just think that the whole thing is too small.

My aunt was in Germantown Plantation. I went there a year ago. It was a lovely place with good price and good food. Like all places, the medical is iffy, but that's all places. It was a very good choice. It's very friendly, and it's a good size. It's in a good area.

I visited Germantown Plantation's assisted living last week. It was a big place. They had a movie theater, a chapel, a swimming pool, and a hot tub. They also had a physical-therapy room and a hair salon. The staff was very polite and knowledgeable, and they answered all of my questions. I also saw their interactions with the residents, and the residents really enjoyed it. In fact, when I was there, one of the gentlemen there didn't feel well, and the nurse was there very quickly. It's very roomy. Their area was quiet and their rooms were bigger. There's so much interaction between the residents and the staff, which I like to see. The place sits back away from the road and it was very quiet. Even when I was inside, I couldn't hear anything from the outside.

My husband and I are currently in Germantown Plantation Senior Living Community Assisted Living. It's a lovely place. It's nice, clean, and just smells good. The staff are all friendly. They all smile and speak to everyone. They have physical therapy, pool, jacuzzi, a game room, bingo, coloring, and all those other games. They have a hair salon and manicures too. Housekeeping came in to clean our room. She mopped, took care of the toilets, and all of that very well. We're just moving in, so there's a lot of stuff around. She just forgot to dust.

I am in Germantown Plantation. They pay for everything but the telephone, and they give us 2 meals a day. The place is very clean, and the food is very good. My husband passed away, so I moved into a one-bedroom apartment, and it is just perfect for me by myself. I have been here four years now.

Germantown Plantation Senior Living was an excellent facility. The rooms were very spacious, the facility was clean, and they had a lot of activities for seniors to participate in. The food was good. I enjoyed everything about it. The staff was very friendly. The lady that gave me the tour was very friendly and very knowledgeable, and the residents were friendly, so I enjoyed it. I liked most of their floor plan. They had some one-bedroom with a den that I liked.

Germantown Plantation Senior Living Community has a lot of major activities. They have a separate room with a poker table and billiard tables for the men. They have a swimming pool and a workout room, and they take them on two or three field trips a week. They have doctors that come there twice a week. The food is incredible. They sit down and order from the menu and are given choices. The food is so good, like gourmet meals. I think we have a very good deal here. Dad has an apartment with two bedrooms.

Plantation was great, but a decision was made not to move my mother here, but to let her live in Springfield. The staff was very informative, they gave me a tour of the facility and answered any questions I had. The rooms were nice, really nice. They do provide lots of activities -- there were swimming pools, weight rooms, games, all types of activities, dancing, and all that stuff. From what I've heard and saw, I would say it was a five-star.

Germantown Plantation is an excellent facility. It is very expensive, but you get what you pay for. They have different sized rooms like you can get a studio or a one bedroom. The facility is fairly new, and the staff seems to be really decent. They have entrées, and you can go in to order what you want. They have times setup for everybody, so it was fairly efficient. The place is good, but it is a little more expensive.
