My friend loved Windlands East. The staff was very nice, very helpful, very pleasant, and they're willing to help. The facility was very clean too. Her room was suitable for her, everything she needed was there, all the essentials. Everything was expensive there but it's worth it. Because they provided her with food, they came in and played in her room and all kinds of things.

I had an in-person tour of Holiday Windlands East. When I first walked in, the people were so nice and friendly. It just seemed like such a warm and happy place. The guy who showed me around was very nice. It seems like they had everything. The staff members were very welcoming and knowledgeable. I was impressed. They have a beauty shop there, a podiatrist who was coming in, and different people who come in and do things.

The tour at Holiday Windlands East was very personal. The residents were very complimentary about it. My mother was delighted. The facility was very clean. I thought it was very accessible for the residents. As far as someone who has more accessibility to care for themselves, it was very open and friendly. The staff and the director were very helpful. They invited us to stay for lunch, which we did. They were very open about what was there. They had some of the residents come and tell us what they thought about it. The residents were very pleased with their own place. According to the calendar they showed us, they had some pretty good activities available, but I didn't see a whole lot going on at the time we were there. They had a library and a courtyard where they could go out and sit.

The tour with Holiday Windlands East was very good. The staff was excellent. The upstairs apartment area was nice, but the downstairs area that had the one room was awful because it was filthy and smelled terrible. And I was kind of shocked by how smelly it was. But those were not the rooms my brother was going to be going in. He was going to the apartments upstairs which were clean and very nice. He gave me a calendar of activities, it wasn't too extensive, but it had some things. They had a nice library, and I like the fact that they take the residents out of the facility and drive them to places. I liked that, it appeared that the people were downstairs and that they were making use of that because they were talking about going to Kroger, going here, going there. And I think that was very good.

We went to visit the Holiday Windlands East where everybody was very friendly and very welcoming. Having been to its sister community, I couldn't say that it looked up to par. It didn't look dirty or anything like that, it just had a different feel to it. Their rooms and layout of the building and everything were pretty much the same between this one and its sister facility. It was clean, maybe it just needed a fresh coat of paint or something. I think the person who gave me the tour was new. She was very helpful, had a lot of information, and answered all of our questions, but still didn't seem to have as much knowledge. They had a place outdoors where they could do shuffleboard, they had arts and crafts, a chapel, a movie room, and a media room. So they had all the amenities.

My father is a resident of Holiday Windlands East. The people were friendly. I had lunch with them, and the food was good. Unfortunately, though, since that time, they've had some prolonged problems with the elevators not working so they are not able to go down for their meals. The meals have been delivered up for them and the quality of the food since they've been doing that has deteriorated. I know they are in the process of getting the elevators fixed, but it changed their opinion of the place because the food was not as good as it was when they first moved in. The staff were friendly. I just met them when I went to eat, so, it was just the people who were serving. He had a 1-bedroom. When you walk in, there's the living room, bedroom, bathroom, and a little kitchen area. It's a nice size for him and his wife. The dining area is very nice. They have tables with four chairs at each table. The people bringing the food out are very friendly. It didn't take a long time to serve a room. It was a good atmosphere.

Windlands East was fine. It's in a good place for the community. It's near a lot of things. It's right off the main highway where they can easily get to the bus surrounded by a number of different places to eat. They could get where they needed to be easily. The person who did the tour was very thorough, very pleasant, and very accommodating. The different rooms I saw were very nice, too. You can cook in your room, or you can go to the cafeteria. They also have a movie theater, a recreation room, arts and crafts, and lots of things they offer. I really liked the place overall.

We went inside Windlands East in Madison and went up to one of the rooms on the 11th floor. It's independent living. The thing that I like the most was the apartment that we looked at had a fantastic view, but it was up on the top floor. I thought the dining area looked very nice. They had a special dining area that was even nicer. It's pet-friendly, and I really like that too. The room was very nice. The kitchen was nice, and the bedroom seemed pretty spacious. What I did not like is that it's smoke-friendly as well, although the residents only smoke in their bedrooms. When we got out of the elevator we were going to the room and there was a very, very strong smoke smell. Once you get in the room, it was fine; but when you're going down the hallway, it was strong. When we got out of the hallway and went into the dining room, we didn't really notice it. When we were in other places, we also didn't notice it. When you are in the hallways, you smell the smoke, and it's bad. That was the biggest drawback for me.

I chose Windlands East because I had an apartment available on short notice. I had been in the hospital for a month with COVID. My existing house has some water leak problems, so it had made me already decide I wanted to move, and the social worker at the rehab facility found that this place had an immediate opening. They are supplying meals at present. I am considering looking into whether there may be a less expensive option of doing my own cooking since I've got a full kitchen in my apartment. The staff seems friendly and competent. The room is clean and adequately spacious. It's a one-bedroom apartment, single bedroom-living room of about the same size, kitchen, and a bathroom. So far everything seems pretty good. The main issue I'm considering long term is possibly looking for a less expensive place. They have not been able to participate in any communal events because of high COVID rates in Nashville, and several people in the building being sick. They are currently not having any shared events, but otherwise the facility seems quite good. They're not currently having any activities. It's not an especially decorative building, but it's quite functional.

We visited Windlands East. It was an in-person tour. They were very helpful and very informative. It's just way out of our price range. The staff member was great. He was very helpful. The room was very nice. It would suit my mother's needs, but it was too expensive for us. They offer three meals a day, rides to and from doctor's visits, and in-home nursing if you need it. If you can afford it, it would be a great place for your mother.

I have moved into Windlands East. It's a very nice place, and they keep it clean. The people are very nice. Everybody's very helpful and will answer any questions that you have. We're supposed to be eating in the dining room, but because of the pandemic, they're bringing the food to our doors; some of it is a little undesirable, and some of it is good. There are times when they don't give you enough, and by the time you realize it, there's nobody to get you any more. I have my own kitchen up here, they provide services to go to the doctor, and they have trips when you can do it, but right now nobody's going anywhere unless it's necessary.

Windlands East is the one place that didn't feel like a nursing home, it feels like an apartment. My father was there since December. The food is standard like nursing home, or cafeteria type, and not particularly healthy, but fine. His room is like a nicer dorm, and the staff is nice, particularly the saleswoman here. The facilities are older, more rundown, they love smoking, and there are not many activities to speak of.

Windlands East was very nice and the food looked pretty good. The rooms were fine. However, it was more like a high-rise apartment, and I didn't like that part very much. Other than that, it was not bad at all. The tour guide was really nice. They didn't discuss the activities. They had a room for activities, they had a library, they had places where you can go and relax, and they had lounge areas, which were pretty nice.

My mother stayed at Windlands East. It felt like she was targeted from the moment she walked in the door, with the dementia diagnosis, by the staff and tenants there. There was a lot of theft and questionable characters with the tenants and staff. I worried about her safety, nothing was secure, management was poor, and cleanliness was poor, but the food was okay.

I enjoy senior independent living here and it very much meets my needs. I have lived here 4 1/2 years. At the present, I still own a vehicle and drive but it's a good feeling to know I'll be furnished transportation if/when I should need it. I already ride the bus when they go for outside activities. I especially enjoy going for live plays at Chaffin's Barn Dinner Theater. Also, my apartment is large enough to accommodate my furniture I wanted to bring with me. I don't always take all three meals daily they offer but the ones I do I've found there to be several options which are quite varied and quite delicious. When my husband & I first moved here with him having Parkinson's disease, we were able to obtain the help we needed for him until his passing in December of that year.

Windlands East is a lovely community and it's well-maintained. Unfortunately, the apartments I looked at were tiny and I would need to replace all our furniture so it would fit. In general they keep the tenants busy with lots of activities. The grounds are beautifully-kept, and the staff members were very polite and went out of their way to be nice.

Windlands East was good. The rooms were good but a little pricey for being so small. When I went there, the residents were eating, and the dining room looked good. The staff members I met were very friendly.

I thought Windlands was a very nice facility with nice rooms, like studio apartments. It was nice, but vacant so there wasn't really any way to see the layout. The dining area had a nice setup; I liked that. The staff was very helpful, very knowledgeable, and were very nice people.

Windlands East is great, and she's there. They have a lot of activities like Bingo, arts and crafts, and outings, and they take them to the store and mall once a week.

Windlands East was a good facility for seniors. It had all the amenities. It had good spacing. It seemed like they had a good and reliable staff. I would say that it was a very good facility for seniors. The rooms had one room, and they were livable. I saw an activity room. The dining area was clean. The residents that I saw seemed to be OK.

We went to Windlands East. The facility was wonderful. It was very nice with very nice people. The staff was very nice. But I did not like the setting of this particular tower. It is on a very limited acreage. It is not a desirable place to me. The staff working in the dining hall did not appear to be happy. They were not really friendly. They were doing their job, but they were totally different than the staff from the other community.

We liked what they had to offer at Windlands East. They cut the price for my brother and sister-in-law. They were very nice, polite, and helpful. They have three meals a day, and I've been getting feedback from my brother and sister-in-law that sometimes the portions are very small. I don't know if they run out of food or what but they serve them just a hotdog. They take them to the doctor and shopping, have an art room, singing, church, and outings that they can attend. They keep them pretty busy. They seem to be skimping on their suppers. Sometimes they're not very good. They should fix the meals, especially for the elderly people.

Windlands East is more high-rise, less expensive. My brother actually preferred this one among all that we visited. They serve three meals a day. They have outdoor activities, exercises, and entertainment like movies. They have nurses for staff. They have transportation that would take them to the mall for groceries and shopping.

I am moving to Windlands East in two weeks. They have a nice kitchen, which most places do not have. They also take residents to the doctor twice a week if they need it.

Windlands East was very nice. I had lunch and dinner there. The apartments were nice and clean. The staff was friendly. They have a really good cook there. The people that live there are also really nice. It was a high rise. It's a big place, and the food was really good. We would have moved my uncle in there, but there was a move-in thousand dollar fee that they told us about at the last minute.

The rooms at Windlands East were very nice, and the staff we met were very helpful and friendly. The building and the entire facility was very nice and very nicely decorated. The residents looked very happy and they also allowed activities for them to be involved in. All the ones I have talked to seemed very content.

My mother lives in Windlands East. I believe that the facility has eleven floors. My mother has a one-bedroom apartment with a kitchenette. They provide food and light housekeeping. My mother goes down to their dining room to eat. It is a big building so their dining room is fairly large. They also have a separate small dining room for private family occasions. I would say that their food doesn't taste that good. On the other hand, they do activities on a daily basis.

I am in Windlands East. Everybody, including the staff, is really friendly and nice. They are here to help. I had a problem at first with my TV. Once I notified the manager in charge, she had it fixed in one day. The housekeeping is wonderful. I never have anybody clean up after me, but now I am spoiled because it is just a really nice place. I will say 95% of the people here love it. The room is spacious. I am able to bring all my furniture. Everything is just very nice. I think the food is great. I find it 99.9% good. The portions are smaller, which is good. They have a variety of different dishes, and they will give you five alternatives to the regular food. They have all kinds of different recreational activities. They have a van that takes you to the grocery store, the mall, and doctor's appointments. I have not started in the activities because I fell and hurt my leg, so I am on a walker, but as soon as my leg heals, I will join in the activities. I like its location. It is close to where I previously lived. There are a lot of different stores, and we have access to the different stores; we just have to communicate with the van driver. It is an older place, but they seem to have everything. I am concerned that it is a high-rise because of fire, but they have an intercom and fire sprinklers in every room and even the bathrooms. I really can't say enough about the place. It is very good. They have people checking into the different apartments every day, and they stay up with them. They have four managers who are just great.

I visited Windlands East, and part of the problem was the expense. It was very expensive. If they had a menu of things, like, say that you could have your room and utilities, and forego the meal plan, that would be a good thing. That would bring it down some, but the meals were included whether you eat that much or not. The facility was nice. It was just the cost. They provide you with three meals a day. We even, as a rule, don’t eat three meals a day. There was no, say, different meal plan. If they would look at something like that, where you would be entitled to one or two meals and a little plan like that, I think that would go a long way to attract people. The visiting experience was fine. The only thing I found objectionable was the price. The staff was very nice. We had food there, and it was decent and palatable. It was very clean. They had outside activities, and they would take you to different events.
