Our meals at the Clarendale at Indian Lake in Hendersonville Tennessee come with free drinks, and free desserts. At night our meal includes a free dinner roll which very seldom is served. Getting the drinks is no problem, but getting served desserts is a big problem. We sat 20 minutes last night waiting for a server to ask us if we wanted desserts They were more interested in cleaning off tables. So we left. This is an every day occurrence. It’s a shame such a nice place could be so poorly run.

My friend is a resident of Clarendale at Indian Lake. The facility can't do anything about it. There's a lot of camaraderie and kind of like the movies, "The Mean Girl Theories" there. Some people feel left out, and I've just seen that in action over there, but I'm sure that's everywhere. I think they have a hard time keeping staff there. The dining room is lovely. I like the way that they set the tables, and people sit around and talk. The food is fun, and offers a variety of things, so that was all well and good, and I liked that. It was hardly a gourmet meal, but it was certainly above normal. They've got classes and game times there. They have jewelry-making classes and painting classes. They have a lot of activities. They have a gym, a library, and a beauty parlor. They have anything you would expect in a large facility like that. All of these places are extremely pricey, so I think Clarendale is probably in the middle of the road, depending on what you get there. If you have a three-bedroom, obviously it's more expensive than a two and that sort of thing.

I'm in a nice apartment here at Clarendale at Indian Lake. The food is very good. They have lots of things to do that I'm interested in. They furnished you with whatever you needed. I have a good-sized bedroom. The bed is big. It's got a living room and a kitchen combination, with the patio going outside. The carpet is nice. It was freshly painted when we moved in. It has a bar where we have a stool to sit in the kitchen area. The living room area has a T.V. on the wall, a sofa, a recliner, two end tables, a coffee table, and plants. So it's plenty big. It's nice. The staff is great. Everybody's so friendly. I think the staff and the residents are all super friendly and ready to help you at any time. It's a very pretty building.

The Clarendale at Indian Lake is a nice place to live except for the dining room experience. We moved in July 2019. The place is kept nice and clean, and the grounds are well kept up. The only downside is that dining room management Does not really listen to the residence. Suggestions.

The Clarendale At Indian Lake is a very attractive place, lots of activities, great people, and management is friendly. Today we went to lunch to find out that they were taking names and seating us in the bistro. It looked like maybe 1/3 of the dining room tables were occupied. We were told that they would call us when it was time for us to be seated. The only explanation that the server gave us was I was told to do this. As a two-year resident, I can honestly say the dining experience at the Clarendale at Indian Lake is a joke.

I love living at Clarendale and would not live anywhere else. My husband and I have a beautiful apartment. We enjoy the meals in the dining room very much. We also like all of the fun things the staff offer up, like today's Titan's Tailgate party. It was almost like being at a Titan's game but a smaller crowd! We've met so many nice people since moving here. We highly recommend this place.

We looked at Clarendale at Indian Lake. We looked at independent living and assisted living. When you walked in, it looked like a hotel. It was very clean and very nice, and it didn't smell at all. Their dining area and the food were awesome looking. The only thing we didn't like about it is the assisted living rooms were small, and my parents have to have separate rooms, so there's no way that would work. There were plenty of activities. I don't know if my parents would do a lot of them, but there was a lot to sign up for. It was lunchtime and there was like a group of ladies, they all had makeup on, their hair was done and they were just talking and chatting at the table, and I like that because I can see my mom being like that. The staff was very nice. The chef came out and he showed us the menu. I looked at some of the meals that people were eating at the tables and it looked really good.

My mother loves her new place. The sales staff Sherry and Tray are so kind and helpful. There is a new lady in charge who is absolutely wonderful and cares all about the people there. I wish more things were planned with more variety, but overall I am very happy and so is mom!

My mother lived in assisted living for five months. We found the operation to be confusing at best. The building was brand new and spacious, but the assisted living side was not filling quickly and there was never a nurse you could speak with on that side. Anything you want you have to go ask at the concierge desk. Food was adequate at times really good and at times bland and tasteless. Charges were assessed for Holiday meals, even ice cream, which was included when we arrived. Nursing staff changed over frequently. General manager was never available. Rent is very high. No live pastors come to preach everything is video. They seem to do the bare minimum and just were not friendly with the families. There was adequate activities offered, nothing above and beyond. Very confusing level of care plans, different than we were accustomed to. Community is changing our entire heating system as residence were always complaining that it blew out cold air!

Clarendale at Indian Lake is very new, but it's in a very busy shopping area, and the street is extremely busy. It didn't have a pool, but there was an exercise room. The apartment we saw was lovely. It was a 2-bedroom 2-bath with a small, but full kitchen. They also had assisted living. The lobby was lovely.
