Dad was at Jefferson Park at Dandridge. They took good care of him. The staff was very attentive, very upbeat, and very caring. They must have enough staff to take the time to take care of all their residents. When I had some issues that I needed to talk to somebody about, they got me to the right people. When dad was there, I could go home and sleep at night because I knew he was being taken care of very well. If he would spend the rest of his life there, it would not bother me at all. There's no urine smell, and the rooms are pretty good sized, but the staff is what makes the place. They were just really good, especially the nursing aides because they're the ones with the most hands-on care with the residents and they treat them exceptionally. The meals there were good, too.

I would not recommend this facility. My mother was there and one of the caregivers impatiently and hastily jerked her leg hard trying to move her into position and slammed it into something. It put a big blood blister on her leg the size of a quarter. After she got discharged back home, come to find out it had Mersa and had to go back to the hospital for it. They discharged her to a different rehab facility for continued wound care and is still on the mend. This has been going on since June 11 and it is now August 9. So sad. Upon speaking to management they were quite passive on the matter. Also this is a very old and crusty facility.

My Mom was admitted to this facility for rehab after back surgery. We couldn't have been more pleased with the love and care she received at JCNH. We are so blessed to have a this facility in our county.

Jefferson Nursing Home is very nice and recommended for those who need more attention. The staff has been really nice and caring. If something happens or anything changes, they would call me and let me know. The food looks nice, and my mom seems to enjoy it. I’m very particular about cleanliness, and this community is clean and doesn’t smell.

This nursing home is a true blessing. They genuinely care about the patients and really try to make them comfortable and happy. They are very involved with the family and really try to do everything they can for the residents. The employees are always gentle and respectful to the patients and treat them with loving care. I could not ask for a better place for my mother to live. They are different from any other nursing home facility that I have been in.

This is a great place for patients to get personal care because the nurses really do have a relationship with the residents here. I have to say that this place felt like a family gathering. Every time I saw the nurses talking to the residents, they would have a conversation asking about their family or friends and when they were coming back to visit. I got the feeling that the nurses really knew their patients, and you could tell that made the patients feel so much more important. The activities in the facility allowed every resident to be involved and to gain their independence, which is so very important in my opinion. I would have no problem recommending this place to anyone.
