We chose it for my mom because of the fact that they care for her whether she is ambulatory or not. It is also close to the hospital. The staff is very friendly. It is only on one floor, so I don't have to worry about my mom going up and down the elevator or trying to find her way around too much. They have activities. They have different types of church services throughout the week, they have Christmas decorating, and they have special holiday meals. They have a pretty full calendar.

They don't let you speak to your loved ones even if that is their wish. The staff regularly does not answer the phone and is very rude. They think they know your family member better than you do. Please do not send your loved ones here.

Charter Senior Living of Jefferson City was an awesome place. The staff knew every question I could imagine the answer to. They were very polite, and helpful, and were glad to assist me. They showed me 2 different apartments, and they had plenty of room for furniture. They were unfurnished, so you have to bring in your own stuff. There was a bar for drinks and coffee, and there was a dining area.

Charter Senior Living of Jefferson City was a great place. I toured the memory care and everybody was nice. They were very kind and very patient. They pretty much do everything for you. They also have a salon, a gym, and trips to different places.

The staff at Charter Senior Living of Jefferson City was very nice. They gave us lots of information. One thing I was impressed as they have a little place that they call memory section where they can put in pictures and things like that to help them recognize those things. It was a very nice facility. All the staff was very nice and caring. We looked at a single room and a double room. The single room has got a queen bed and a few other things, and the double room would have a twin bed or a hospital bed. When we were there, they were doing a little activity like Pictionary where they give them the word and the resident would be drawing pictures of whatever was up on the board so everybody could see and try to guess what it was. That was kind of good brain activity for them. They had a courtyard, a library with a fireplace, an activity area that was like a living room type setting, and a dining room area. I saw what they had on the plate and it was a good, healthy meal.

It was a little bit smaller. They were in the middle of a renovation, so I wasn't able to look through everything. It was good, and it's closer to where we live; that's a major advantage. The staff during the tour was very good, very informative, and took the time to take me around and explain everything. The staff also followed up a couple of times. There's construction going on, but the places where there wasn't looked fine to me. They had a patio and a courtyard.

It was beautiful, it had a very home-like atmosphere, and it had great views of the mountain. The scenery behind it was unbelievable. It had a beautiful courtyard. The person who helped me was excellent. They took them outside of the facility and they had in-house activities.

This is a good facility,. They are very caring and tend to treat their residents as family, are concerned about their well being and want them to be happy.

My father chose here, and he really likes it. They have a men's breakfast club on Monday mornings and Bingo. He's a smoker, and they made him a smoking area where he stays all day long. He has 2 rooms, a bathroom, and a little kitchenette area with a sink which is really nice. He loves that he's on the side of the mountain. He can see more mountains, and there are trees around and deer cross the driveway. He loves the wildlife, and he gets a lot of it out there. There is a community center close by that does yoga and exercises at senior discounts, and there's a golf course. They also have a van that takes them anywhere they want to go. I have a little communication problem with them as far as his medications.

We had a tour, and we're very pleased with it. The staff member who assisted us during our visit was friendly and informative. I would say that they had typical rooms. We expected huge rooms, but their's were not. We did not have meals when we were there. We were told to visit some other time to check out their food. I would say that their dining room was very attractive. We were very pleased to see that they actually used cloth napkins. We saw some people in the activity room, but we did not really know what they were doing. The place seemed secured to me. My mother was not ready to move in yet, but that was where we would go when the time would come.
