I am a resident at Grace Healthcare of Cordova. I love Grace! I have been here twice not because of the location but because, of the care. I live way in Arkansas. The people here take out the time to get to know you personally and they make you feel like family. Angel ( Social Worker) always visited me just about everyday and went to the store to get clothing. Erica ( Nurse) was nice too. And can't forget Bernadette (nurse). Therapy is the greatest. They have me stronger than I have ever been. I will recommend this facility to anyone. They will get you up and back home stronger than before. Thanks Grace! Emmett Burt

Everyone was extremely nice at Grace Healthcare of Cordova. The facility is very nice. They had very nice employees, friendly employees, and everybody there seems to be equally professional. They've been around for a long time. They have a salon and someone comes in for that, and they have therapy. It was well kept up when I visited. The rooms are nice sizes, some are standard, and if you want more room, you can get a bigger room to have the patient. I can't place my aunt there because they're near train tracks. They're also near Baptist East, Baptist Minor, and all those facilities.

No one ever answers the phone or returns calls. No one has been allowed in since March frustrating when you are checking on love ones! Need more numbers to be able to talk to someone!

My husband was in there five years ago and received the worst care ever before I could get an ambulance to get him out. I blame myself for putting him in this horrible place. Don’t put anybody in there unless you are wanting them to die I learned it the hard way

This facility houses a family member of mine. They are extremely poorly run- and do absolutely nothing to help, in need family members. This place is something like out of a horror movie. I wish I was embellishing, but unfortunately I am not. AT ALL costs- do not let a loved one stay or reside here. The food is average at best & the staff is really poorly trained and unprofessional.

My friend has moved into Grace Healthcare of Cordova. It has its ups and downs. I think they're a little bit short-staffed. They have more residents than they really can handle with the people they have on staff. They don't seem to have a good way to communicate with the families of residents as to what is going on with the resident or what any plan might be as far as the resident's future care. They need more staff and need to communicate better with families of residents. They do have activities, but my friend is not capable of participating in them. However, they take care of all her personal needs like showering and toileting. It is basic needs more or less, like food and housing.

I visited this Facility recently and was very impressed with the Staff and the building. They were very helpful and took the time to explain to me about things I needed to know in order to help my Mom while she was here. Not only was the Nurses and C.N.A.'s helpful but the Office staff as well. Very polite and explained to me about the financial concerns that I have. I had a chance to also meet with the Administrator and she was such a joy to be around. I would recommend this Facility to anyone that wants to make sure that their loved ones are treated with dignity and respect that they deserve while there.

This place is HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!! do not place any family members here i wouldn't even place my enemies here. The staff is nonexistent....all of them!!!!!! from the social workers down to the cna's they are all terrible. They can never relay info about the patient mainly because they haven't checked on them for hours especially if the patient is confined to the bed.......I'm begging please don't choose this facility for anyone!

I just had to write to you and tell you how grateful we are to the wonderful staff at Grace Healthcare of Cordova. Donnie came to you in an ambulance after spending 70 days in the hospital after suffering a brain aneurysm. He had a trach, a feeding tube and was on oxygen when he came and had lost all of his muscle mass. He was released 3 months later, walking with a walker, able to use the toilet, eating extremely well, talking his head off and able to walk up the steps when we got home. I want to thank our nurses, Nancy Hester, Anja Rivers, Erika Grant, Bernadette Leach, Sara Moore and Jason Nash, our CNAs, Jaime Payne, Priscilla Greer, Veronica Bougard, Karen Crowder and Rachel Freeman, our Therapists, Pauline, Marilyn and Shelley, our Wound Care Nurses, Nichole, Belinda and Chelsea and our Social Workers, Cassandra and Kristian. I know I probably forgot somebody but just know we appreciate all of you. Donnie is getting stronger every day. Shelley, thank you for the gift you sent, even if it had an ALABAMA logo. He got a real kick out of it and enjoyed talking to you. Our family wants to wish all of you a MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! Love you all !!!! Kathy and Donnie Cook

I was in this facility for 2 weeks. I lost 17 lbs. during this time. They have the worst food I've ever experienced. They lost my favorite pair of summer pants and 3 pieces of new underwear. I never got a "sorry", or what can we do to compensate you. When I was discharged my meds were called in incorrectly and they never corrected the problem, they wanted to blame the pharmacy. I also had problems being discharged, the person who was to set up everything didn't. I caught her in lies. I really came home to early but the CNAs kept telling me I was ready. Then I realized they just wanted me out, one less person to care for.!!!!

Grace Healthcare was the only one place that was available for my parents when we needed a place to put my mom and my dad together, but unfortunately my dad died. The place is pretty much typical of any nursing home. It's very clean facility and very well maintained. We got some caregivers that are very concerned and they want to be there and then you got some that are just there for paychecks and could not care less. The caregivers are not really great on the weekends, but during the week it was not too bad. On the weekend, somebody has to be there because the weekend workers really don't care one way or the other. They just want to get their paychecks. The food itself was very bland. By the time it gets from the kitchen to the table, it's not really what I would call a hot meal, but then again I have to understand that it's a nursing home.

My mother was grossly neglected, I am disabled and couldn't visit often enough. She smelled so bad and had brown urine, the er dr said that her bladder infection was so bad it had to have been present for weeks. Her clothes were dirty and had clumps of body fluids on them. I could go on, She died from a heart attack, a direct result from her kidney infection.
