My mom has been at Wellmore for around 2 years and we love it. The staff is friendly and attentive. She started off in rehab and is now at assisted living and we are happy with both. One of our favorite things about Wellmore is all the activities they provide. They have movies, a variety of games, musicians, arts and crafts, farm day (farm animals come and visit), exotic animal day (exotic and animals come and visit) and much more. They also allow family members come and enjoy the activities with their loved ones as well. My family is happy that we chose Wellmore for our mother.

The nursing staff are very efficient and caring. There are many activities for the residents to enjoy. They also have an in house beauty salon.

The skilled nursing unit was a nightmare for my family - the skilled nursing staff was friendly but very overworked and understaffed. My dad was there for recovery from a broken hip following a brief stay at CMC Main. They are extremely understaffed and kept telling us about all the incentives they are offered to work extra shifts. Nurses often pulled their masks down when speaking despite covid regulations - it made me very nervous. They often forgot things like that he had to get his pain medication before physical therapy. The communication between the nurses from one shift to the next was awful and we had to keep reminding them of things. The PT staff was wonderful. Unfortunately my dad developed bed sores that were horrible. The head nurse, who is a total Nurse Ratched type, was rude, denied any accountability for ANYTHING and literally berated my mom for asking a question about my dad. She told us "He needs to get up more" - my dad was unable to get up without help and has dementia so would not know he needed to get up unless reminded. Nurse Ratched type clearly was a fan of "the best defense is a good offense". She also lied and said he arrived with bed sores which was untrue because I even checked with the nurses at the hospital since and they said "nope". Nobody at Wellmore repositioned him to get him off the bedsores. My dad also got dehydrated there and nobody reminded him to drink (he has dementia which they knew when accepting him) they just kept telling us about how he needs to get up (well, he can't get up without help so tell him he needs to get up and help him out of bed). Also, bugs on the windowsills which had clearly been there for some time. Honestly would not recommend this place to anyone for skilled nursing. If you want your relative to get better - this is not the place I would recommend sending them.

We visited Wellmore of Tega Cay, and it was very nice. The place was very clean, it was a wonderful tour, and we were very happy with it. They have activities going on in the dining room, they were having lunch, and it was a restaurant style. The place has a nice courtyard.

The care my aunt got before the pandemic was incredible. During the pandemic, the staff at Wellmore continue to do even more. Except for frequent FaceTimes, I haven’t seen my aunt since midMarch, when Wellmore closed for the safety of their residents. My aunt, who is 94 and in Reflections, looks happy, healthy and well cared for. I am so grateful for the care she is getting from the wonderful, dedicated staff. And so grateful that they made the difficult decision to stay closed to protect their residents.

The care at Wellmore of Tega Cay has been excellent. It was far and above better than anything we looked at. It's a top-notch senior living place with everything available from rehab, memory care, and assisted living. They are doing an exceptional job, so that's where my uncle will stay from now on. The staff is terrific; they could be my friends. I could live there myself. My uncle's studio room has a little refrigerator, a microwave, and everything else he could possibly need. They play bingo, musicians come in, and do all kinds of crafts.

Wellmore of Tega Cay was a beautiful, lively community. People always go out of their rooms. The rooms were impeccable, clean, and well maintained, very new and up-to-date. The gardens are gorgeous and the people are very sweet. The only thing is that the staff is amazing but some of them needs a little more training, especially with the new staff in skilled nursing and physical therapy. Sometimes they forget stuff like my mom can't have sugary stuff, but they gave her a soda.

Wellmore of Tega Cay had apartments, a swimming pool, a gym, and people coming in all the time doing entertainment. They also go on field trips. It's an ideal place and one of the nicest places I have ever seen.

Wellmore of Tega Cay was a really nice place. The place was new, so it had a new feeling to it, and everything was up to date. The food was spectacular. It even had a bar for guests who are staying there to enjoy a drink or two in the evenings. It was really a step above for the whole place. The staff people were all very nice and very helpful. It was a really good place and expensive, also. The only thing that really stood out to me that was maybe different from other places is that their price was a set price that included everything. Some facilities will charge you extra if you had 10 medications or whatever or if you need a certain kind of help. Wellmore is all-inclusive: whatever the price is, it covers everything. If you can afford it, it's a great thing.

Wellmore of Tega Cay is only a year old. It’s brand new, and so it’s going to have that brand-new smell and a new look, and I appreciate that. There weren't any mysterious stains on the carpets, and you can’t beat their amenities. They had a swimming pool, and that feeling of more of a resort than an assisted living place. I was actually looking for a memory center, and their memory center is a small facility. They didn’t have as many beds as the other one I saw had. But, it was nice, and we could afford it.

Everything was wonderful at Wellmore of Tega Cay. The very spacious one- and two-bedrooms had washer dryer connections. The facility itself was really nice and beautiful, and had a pool and a salon, which does massages and nails. My mom is on the waiting list. The dining area was gorgeous, and the food was good that came from a menu that you could order from. It's like going out to dinner every night.

Wellmore of Tega Cay wanted way too much money down. They wouldn’t let us move in until we have $4,000, and $9,200 on top of that. The apartment was perfect; there were two bedrooms, a living room, and a walk-in kitchen. The staff were very accommodating. I would recommend this facility to other people looking for this kind of facility.
