We moved into HarborChase of Riverwalk because I like their amenities. I think that all of the outreach and activities they designed meet both our needs. I like the part that if there's a couple here, they wouldn't know which one needed the help. It's like everybody is on an equal basis. Everyday starting at 10:00 in the morning, there is something planned every hour until about 4:00 in the afternoon. It is either exercise, mental stimulation, or cards. There are all kinds of activities to meet all the physical and mental needs of daily living. They serve a very high-end menu each day. There are three full meals a day. You can get what you want from that offered menu or you can ask them for a custom dish. If they're able to do that, you are very welcome to have that in your admission fee. The thing I find the most pleasing is that I, as an independent spouse, can be with my husband and are treated like a normal couple. The food is not always my favorite, and there is just a little downfall in the dining service. I wouldn't say that should be a negative. We're just all very picky.

Esthetically, HarborChase of Riverwalk was gorgeous. It looked very comfortable. The people that we saw there were engaged in activities. The staff was very pleasant. The rooms were spacious. It looked like a place where my wife could be happy. We had a meal, and it's not five-star gourmet. For large-group feeding, it was surprisingly good. It looked like a very well-balanced meal, and it was tasty.

HarborChase of Riverwalk was real nice and clean. The rooms were adequate and clean. The staff seemed to know what they were doing. If I was going to stay somewhere, it'd be there. It had just about everything you would want. The room had a bathroom, a sink, a shower, and a commode. There's a walking trail not too far away.

The memory care facility here is awful! My MIL has been at this facility for 4 months and has fallen 4 times, once breaking 2 ribs, another fracturing her orbital bone and most recently fracturing her left femur. And God knows how long she was lying on the floor this time in pain because they never answer the call button. She has deteriorating Parkinson’s and increasing dementia. These people have done nothing but taken our money. PLEASE BEWARE!!!!

HarborChase of Riverwalk is under construction and is not yet open. My mother will move there when it opens on the second week of November. It's absolutely beautiful. We saw the rooms, they have different sizes for 1-bedroom apartments, they have 2-bedroom apartments and studios available, and we got the larger 1-bedroom apartment. They have a membership for the aquatic center as far as the pool, and they have outdoor dining, all-day dining, and it's just a very unique place. I'm very excited about the place.
