My aunt was at The Legacy of Camden for two and a half years. She liked her apartment. She had a huge closet that she loved. She didn't need a lot in terms of level of care. Of course, she needed her food and her bed made every day. She had a couple of things that were considered narcotics that she couldn't keep in her room and take herself. She only needed them to deliver that medicine. That's all that she needed from them. And she called for her medicine twice in one day, but they never came. That's what made us take her out of there. As for their food, it's institutional. It's not that good. They did a good job of keeping the building. But my aunt complained all the time about them not cleaning her room. The number one thing they need to do is they need to answer their call buttons because if she had a true emergency, she would be dead now. That's the number one problem that they have. And then secondly, they need to make their beds every day as they promised, and they need to clean the rooms once a week.

The Legacy of Camden was very clean and well staffed. The room that I saw was very nice and clean. It had a microwave and a refrigerator in a small kitchenette. They all had the amenities I was looking for, like the doctor, medication, trips, and activities. The staff was really welcoming, knowledgeable, and very nice. Everything was explained to me during the tour.

I visited friends and associates at Morningside of Camden. They had very nice rooms with privacy. They provide meals, they take care of your laundry, and they clean your room. The staff was very nice, very capable, and very well educated. It's very nice and very clean, and the rooms were quite spacious and nice. It's a very modern building with lots of windows.

The facility is in Camden, South Carolina, and it is for my mother-in-law. The name of the facility is Morningside. The place is excellent. It is a five star rated facility that offers 24/7 care. The food is to die for, and the grounds are immaculate. It is a very small facility with about 44 apartments which are all on one level. We liked that it is smaller instead of a very large place so that she gets very specialized care. They have a registered nurse and a psychologist on staff. They have two area doctors that make rounds. We are very pleased with the place.

This community was wonderful. The staff greeted us right away and we were able to get a tour immediately. The first thing I noticed was the plesant smell and the activities going on. The residents were listening to a music performance. We arent ready just yet, but this made our short list.

Morningside had little rooms. It's like you were a little prisoner in there. My husband has this thing where he can't be shut up. He won't go nowhere but he wants to open the backdoor and look out and breathe. He couldn't do that there. The furnishings were nice but the apartments were these little rooms and the only way to get out of it was just one door and then you're face to face with all sorts of illnesses. It is not healthy for older persons to have to look at this all the time with these wandering people. The staff was nice enough but I was not impressed at all.
