The rooms fair size but a double room is very small. The majority of the staff was good but I was not happy when my husband got pneumonia and I was not told also when he was hospitalized, I was never called. The day before he went to the hospital his back wound was not covered and the odor was horrible! While he was on the hospital, his clothing was stolen and the response I received was "well this is a nursing home". Not acceptable and never got a call or letter about their investigation. Would not want anyone else I know to go here.

Evaluate critically before we choose to move in . They are OK , but nothing to write home about . Nursing staff is good and provides timely medication. Respiratory therapists are also OK . CNA is severely understaffed . Some days, the patients do not get attention after 2/3 hours when you requested attention. Many days , they do not get transferred from bed to chair . Physical therapy and occupational therapy are a joke . Lunch and Dinner are full of surprises . The food on the tray does not match with the menu card - nowhere near. If they had a qualified chef, the food can be made edible . In short , everyday is a challenge

The rooms and walls are dirty with stains and peeling wall paper. The are always understaffed. So much so that my loved one was not fed, showered , turned or changed. Many times I came to visit and my loved one was soiled. My loved one ended up with a bed sore. They do not have basic supplies( linen, soap, wound supplies). I would not recommend this facility.

I am currently a resident at the facility , I’m resident council president . Yes there are problems but as residents and family members know . Not everyone is committed to their job . But there’s some here who really care and will bend over backwards to help . Those being Recreation w/ Molly and Emma and Anna . The nurses are taxed but push through to give the best possible care . The CNA ‘s are the backbone and are asked the most from . They do a thankless job that is not to be taken lightly . They work long hours and should be treated with respect . I’ve heard how some people treat them , they are human too . Just put yourself in their shoes .

My husband was in this horrible place where he got a uti. I reported that he was in pain. Nothing done. 2 days later he was rushed to a hospital. The place is terrible.

Interactions with staff is minimal. They do not approach family members to engage in conversation. Staff gives incorrect information about doctors appointments ,and visits . Difficult to arrange appointment with a doctor. Family members must take the initiative on all matters and be proactive.

I would not recommend leaving anyone you care about here. Old and dirty building and the majority of the staff is horrible. The CNAs, with a couple exceptions, are the worst. They do the bare minimum here. They are lazy, rude, nasty, and unprofessional. They have a sign out on the street advertising that they are hiring CNAs which they leave up all the time and it’s obvious that they hire literally anyone off the street. Don’t listen to the hype they feed you pre-admission-this place is nothing like they claim it is.

more communication with immediate family. Things seem to move a little slow there but we will see if it gets better. I'll update in a couple weeks. Not very impressed yet.

One of the most impressive notes I can make on this facililty is their diligent contact with family members of the residents. It is clear this is a priority with them; if there was some little stride toward the positive, or if it seemed as if there was or could possibly be a problem arising, they did not wait or keep the family in suspense. It appears the entire staff is on the same page concerning family communication. This, in itself, is a gift which isn't easy to come by. Also, I have seen them take the effort to keep dignity in tack by having the residents dressed for the day, rather then taking the easy way out and keeping them in bed clothes.
