Wesley Enhanced Living at Burholme has been a great experience for my Nan. The staff is kind and hard working. The staff is very helpful. Anytime that we have asked a question, they have been quick to get us an answer. They made my Nan feel right at home. She loves joining in on all the activities they plan. She loves playing pokeno and bingo. My family and I can relax now and not worry about her like we did when she lived home alone. Her room is very nice and she could hang pictures that she had at her house which has made her feel like it is her home. The grounds are very well maintained. The facility is very clean. There are areas on each floor where families can go and spend time with their loves ones. The food is pretty good and residents can always ask for something if it isn’t on the menu.

Wesley Enhanced Living Burholme was a little older. They definitely could use some remodeling. But the staff seemed very friendly and very helpful. The lady that we had the appointment with was very informative and we also spoke to the administrator. We toured the facility and we ran into some of their residents, and they seemed very happy. They had a lot of activities. They would take the residents out into the community, and they had crafts and games to keep the residents engaged. They had medical staff on site. My mom would have her own room, and they also had devices where if she needed help, she could just push a button and someone would come in and assist her.

Wesley Enhanced Living Burholme was pretty good, it seemed like a decent assisted living community. It was clean and open. The staff that I met seemed like they cared for the residents and for the people that were there. The administrator went out of her way to help me during my visit. I was happy to know that they had a respite room that my dad could use until he was able to move furniture in for his own room. I found one of the things that were of concern to me was that the bathrooms were very accessible. A person in a wheelchair would have no problems using them, which was important to me. I liked that. The facility itself looked institutional though. It doesn't look like a home and it is older construction.

I toured Wesley Enhanced Living Burholme for my mom. It's caring and friendly, with a warm environment. The staff was friendly, and the rooms were a nice size, and comfortable. For the food, they offer different things for different days. I saw salmon on the menu. They offer movies night and game nights, they had a library, and sometimes they take the tenants out for like a dinner or to a restaurant kind of thing. The place was very well-maintained.

Wesley Enhanced Living Burholme is at the top of my list. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but once you get inside, it's actually very nice. I like the fact that it is not large. The apartments were more spacious than in the private communities. The 1-bedrooms were very nice. The residents seemed very happy. The people that I talked to were very nice. I have met the person who showed me around on a separate occasion at another community when I went to a seminar. She was very caring and knew all the residents. The whole place seemed very friendly and more home-like. I know they'll have an apartment ready for my mother when we make the decision. They have very nice activities in terms of the kinds of things that my mother would be interested in.

Wesley Enhanced Living Burholme was very nice and very expensive, but it's a beautiful and peaceful community. They didn't have that many activities so it fits those who aren't very active. I met with the marketer, and she was very helpful.

I moved into Burholme two weeks ago. It's more convenient and comfortable. The staff is excellent, and it's a lovely place to be. I chose a one-bedroom apartment with kitchen, living room, bedroom, dining area, large closets, large, wide accessible doors for wheelchairs if you need it, and a walk-in shower. It's very nice. Everyone seems very happy and bright. Most are mobile, and some who are wheelchair-bound, and the staff is excellent with them.

I was looking for a continuing care community for Mom and got referred to Wesley Enhanced Living by Annette of Caring.com. The sales director, of Wesley's Burholme and Pennypack facilities, John, was helpful and gave me straight answers to questions about the financial side of assisted living, which nobody else would do. Based on our conversation, I decided to tour the facility, to see if it would be suitable for my mom. John was informative and enthusiastic. In addition to all the useful information, he clearly took pride in the Burholme residence, knew the staff by name, and introduced me to many of them. He knew the residents by name, too. This told me as much as all the other useful information. he provided.. The facility itself looked well maintained, clean and fresh. The grounds were attractive, the facilities seemed pleasant and well designed. After the tour, I reserved an available apartment for Mom and we are now in the process of preparing for her move.

My aunt is staying at Wesley Enchanced Living since early October. We chose it for what they offer: the price and close proximity to other relatives. We are very happy with the facility. We are very happy with the staff and with the way that she is being treated. The other residents there all seem happy, and there is always activities going on. They are truly caring. They have a travelling pet show. They bring in animals. They have bingo, tai chi, dance, and wheelchair tap. They have entertainment coming in maybe twice a month. They have bowling, arts and crafts. I have not eaten there, but my father has and he says the food is good. My aunt has her own refrigerator in her apartment, a kitchen sink, a bathroom, shower, closet with ample room for her to move around. You bring your own furnishing so it makes you feel homey, they offer cable service, and she also has telephone. It has a beautiful patio setting with rocking chairs, nice flowers growing. She has a patio out from her room. She has a couple of hanging plants in there and some bushes and flowers right outside of her patio door. The garden area is very nice. It is very scenic. I think there is a gazebo out back. They also have -- if I remember correctly -- a barbeque grill, where in the summer you can have a family gathering there.
