Philippian Gardens was a very clean, nice, and quiet place to live. There weren’t any mice or roaches. They had open grounds where the senior citizens could go out and sit. The employees were very nice and kind. I would recommend it very highly.

I was disabled ederly man and i am hearing imparied. The manager as she claims to be FAWNDA , who is really the owner and dont let her tell you that shes the manager had a serious attitude and chip on her shoulder the entire stay there, as well as talking behind your back constantly. The property is poorly maintained and run and in a very DANGEROUS AREA...BE CAREFUL.. i would def. choose another low income housing unit.

This is a neighborhood facility in the inner city of Philadelphia. It is in a very nice location. The outside has a large fenced in courtyard with benches where residents can sit. As part of the security system, you must either dial the tenant to enter or, you can be buzzed in by the office which is just inside the door. Once entering there is a room just over from the office where residents converge, meet, lounge, et.The building, courtyard, hallways and elevators are always immaculate. Once you enter the facility you really feel like you are in an apartment complex. My friend, who is a resident, is wheel chair bound. She has a large living room, kitchen, and one bedroom with wheel chair accessibility to the bathroom. The staff is very warm and friendly. There are many planned activities and services made available. There are a mixture of residents, some are not at all disabled and come and go as they wish. Others need a little additional support for day to day living.
