The rooms are nice and probably the best feature of this facility. The staff is another story especially when you have nurses stating that it's not their job. If the aid is busy, shouldn't you as a nurse help the patient and not ignore the call button light? Some of the aides are very nice and others not so nice. Also, this place has Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves. My relative had his $40.00 dollar slippers stolen and numerous messages were left for Brian. He never got back until I took other action. He stated that he'd replace the slippers on Tuesday and here it is Thursday and still no slippers. How do you have so many workers and they don't notice someone going into other patient's rooms? Oh, I know because so many are at the nurse's station talking. How do you let someone lay in their feces and urine for 1 hour and 45 minutes? How come it takes 1 1/2 hrs. for someone to get water? How are they always out of coffee at dinner time? Why aren't the patients being checked on routinely? Also, when you call the nurses station some won't give their name and also give a hard time. People are in these facilities not because they want to be there, but for medical reasons. Have a compassion because if it was your family member you would fight tooth and nail about these issues. How come food service can't read when someone is allergic to fish and then send them fish as their meal? This place really needs better workers and people who care.

I was a resident of Kearsley Rehabilitation & Nursing Center. It had a dormitory feel. It's very clean, very modern, and has a very open space. I spent all my time on one floor. At the time I wheeled into the main entrance, I could wheel my wheelchair to my room and never encountered stairs. But they had multiple floors, I just happened to be able to do all of my business on one floor, including the recreation facility and the rehab room. They had a barber, and a hairdresser, who was onsite once a week doing haircuts and hairstyles, and that was nice. I had a private room with a shared bathroom with my neighbor in the adjacent rooms. They have two rooms with a bathroom between them, and we shared the bathroom. The food was good. The medical staff was good, and so was the hospitality team that delivered in trays at mealtime. They had housekeeping which maintained the rooms and the common areas. The housekeeping I would rate a five, hospitality deliveries were a four, and medical staff was another four. The facility was very well maintained. I would say the facility is their best feature.

So far, everybody in Kearsley Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center was very nice and helpful. They showed us everything. They serve food according to my dad's diet when he's going to be there. The place was nice and it's located on a golf course. The location is mainly the reason why we are choosing this place, because it's close to all the families.

Kearsley was very nice. The rooms were nice, and it seemed like the patients can bring in a favorite piece of their furniture. I guess they allow -- at times -- for the patients to bring in some of their old stuff because they feel more at home. The staff person was very nice too.
