I went to Holy Redeemer St. Joseph Manor. It seemed pleasant. It was clean. They had activity areas for things. The staff was good. I tried for a long time to get my brother in there, but I couldn't. They eventually said OK, my brother was qualified, but it could be as long as a year before they had a bed. So I felt, well, I wish I knew that at the beginning, because I needed to move him on soon.

St Joseph's Manor is connected to the Holy Redeemer. Originally, Mom went there because her husband was leaving and we needed a place that they both could go to. It was a lot more expensive than where she is now, more than twice as much. They had activities, but a lot of times, they don't have them. I really liked the director of the unit, but the other staff members, it seemed like they were there to do the things that needed to be done, but they didn't interact much with the residents. A lot of times the residents were just sitting around in chairs with nobody talking. They have entertainment, people come in and do musical performances and sing-alongs, and they have the garden courtyard, which is nice. I ate a few meals there and it was OK, nothing special, but not bad.

My mom stayed at St. Joseph Manor. The staff was excellent and my mom had really great care. She liked the food and the staff. She was there for rehab. It was beautiful because it was brand new.

My mother is currently in personal care there. The rooms are small but able to bring your personal items and the room ends up looking very nice!!! The care there is wonderful!!! No complaints at all!! The staff are very caring and do so with a smile!!! My mother after being there almost six weeks said she hasn't met a person who wasn't nice and helpful!!!! Coming from my mom....that's amazing!!! haha!!

St. Joe's Manor is part of Holy Redeemer. The facility was gorgeous. It was beautiful. I love everything about it. However, the rooms were horrible. Also, it was a very old building, but I thought it was a beautiful place, and everybody looked happy there.
