I visited Gloria Dei Towers Huntingdon Valley, PA to see their independent living and it was very nice. They had everything in there. They had elevators that were working properly, the place was clean and friendly, and the atmosphere was very nice. The grounds were kept nice and you can go sit outside as some of the rooms have balconies. The hairdresser comes once a week and you can make an appointment in the barbershop there. There's a bus that takes you on trips to go shopping. They had a little coffee shop where the residents could even volunteer to work. They also had a little pool room, an exercise room, and a television room. It was nice. The only reason I didn't take it was because the apartment was too small for me.

The Towers is a very large building with many apartments. In side the building is set up in a ""Y"" fashion, which can make it a bit tuff to navigate for new comers. The front door uses a phone style call box for visitors to enter, which gives the residents control over who enters. Parking can be hard for visitors as they must use the rear lot and watch not to park in a residents spot, on the other hand residents have many spaces to park in and not all are asigned spots. The residents have the choice of many activties such as bingo, card games, small concerts, hair dresser, and bus trips as well. The Towers is a great place to live for a busy on the go resident, or a layed back resident. There is something for everyone and lots of friendly residents to welcome you.
