My mother was at Mountain View Memory Care and she received very good care. They knew her personally. They knew her likes and dislikes. Her nurses were wonderful with her, very kind, and very loving with her. The best thing about that place is the care from the nurses. The rooms were very clean. If there was something missing in her room, like toilet paper, they went immediately and replaced it. I didn't have to wait for anything. There was no smell. It was clean. She was always clean, and her clothes were always clean. She never complained about the food. She always ate. They selected meals for the individual patient. In other words, not every patient got the same kind of meal. It depended on what their health dictated, so they were very knowledgeable about what food they required. They had the residents out in the great room every day doing art activities and music activities. They have church services. They have a beauty salon. They have parties periodically for the residents. They have Thanksgiving dinner for the families and a Christmas cookie fest. They have the activities director who was very, very good with the residents. She would play music and she would have them up and dancing. They kept the residents busy. The staff was very loving and very giving. They loved her. They've redone the facility. It looked beautiful. The pricing was comparable to similar facilities.

I would not want to put my dead cat here. The place is dirty, smelly, and disgusting. The care is even less than sub standard. The staff Vape at the nursing area. Management is severely lacking. Patients are not engaged in activities. Medication is not given at the proper times. This facility is severely understaffed. The facility says it has several amenities that it offers, but I have yet to see any that are appropriate or engaging. Toilets are broken. Paper towel dispensers don't work.

Not recommended. I have recently made the decision to remove my loved one from this facility, my loved one is poorly taken care of because of the lack of staff, he is mainly isolated in room daily. Important information does not get communicated properly or handled in a timely fashion I worried sick everyday.

My mom is a resident. I think they show a lot of one-on-one personal care, which is good. They hydrate her mid-morning and then they take her to lunch. They hydrate in the afternoon then take her to dinner, and then they hydrate her in the evening. We're very happy with that. The staff are good at what they do. I don't think they're registered nurses or anything like that, they're kind of like assisted living people, and they help with the residents. They're constantly involved with my mother. If she wanders or strays away, they bring her back. But everything's pretty much locked up anyway. We're not allowed to go in her room because of COVID. If she's interested, they'll have her participate in the activities, but if she doesn't want to, it's her call, and she can do whatever she wants. But they provide them with activities. She's allowed a TV in her room, but we've got to supply it. We can hook up a portable antenna for it or hook up the cable. There's a shower, a bed, and some closet space. It's semi-private and she shares a shower with another individual. When we visit, there's a visiting room, and they bring her to us. They said that after COVID, we would be permitted to eat with her or sit down with her. But for now, they're still being cautious. We've been bringing some food in from outside, then we sit in the visiting area and have some lunch with her. We go outside with her, too, and have lunch. The outside area is very nice. The grass is well-kept, and they have a nice pavilion with picnic tables. They keep everything pretty much clean. We are happy with it. The staff have a concern to watch over my mother. They're very polite and anxious to help in any way we can ask them to do so.
