My mom moved into Brookdale Murrysville three months ago. Everything is fantastic. The people that work there are great. The grounds are nice. The facility is great. The living quarters are fantastic. The activities they provide are excellent and very stimulating. I like the place. They do crafts. Every holiday they create crafts and the ladies are always busy with each other. And Mother's Day, just every holiday, they're doing something and it's keeping her hands busy. So that's what we like, the crafts and the design. The staff has been more and more supportive. They're just excellent. They're professionals because my mother sometimes can be very difficult, but they're always professional. And they always take care of her needs. I haven't seen much of the food. I have seen meals, and they seem to be happy with them. My mother told me it's like what she grew up with, and she's 95.

Brookdale Murrysville was very clean. It didn't have any odors or anything like that. We were shown a few of the rooms, and they were all decent size. The patients and their families had already decorated them, so they all looked very nice. They had the kitchens, the dining area, and everything else that you would normally expect. If they had a larger outdoor area, we might have considered them. The staff did an excellent job of pointing everything out, showing us where everything was, and walking us around the whole area. I was very pleased with his job. Everything seemed to be very clean and orderly.

The tour I had at Brookdale Murrysville was fine. The facility was very nice. It's clean, modern, and the help was very friendly. The intake people sat with us for a long period of time explaining all the different things. Then we met some of the other workers during the tour. The overall director came out as we finished up and covered some more areas. Everybody was very informative, very helpful, and very caring. We toured several different rooms, singles and doubles, as well as the day area/the recreation area, and craft areas.

Brookdale Murrysville was all memory care. There's a beauty shop, a library, and lounges. They're smaller and the staff members were all pretty good. There's just one little thing that bothered me. After they gave me the quote of how much it was going to cost, they sprung on me this $5,000 activity fee without telling me until afterward. I was kind of taken aback by that.

Brookdale Murrysville was a nice facility. It's larger and everything looked clean. I believe they had 60 plus residents, but I wanted something smaller and more home-like. They just had a bunch of hallways, and to me, someone with dementia would be confused about how to get around on their own from the dining room or even their outside area. The lady who gave the tour was nice and informative. They also have an activities director that works with people daily.

Brookdale Murrysville's location is good for family members coming in from out of town. I liked the fact that there were individual rooms, and the residents could make it seem like their own apartment. They had a key lock to their rooms, so it's not like somebody else could just walk in. The meal arrangements were good. They also had snacks on top of the meals. They had a lot of activities to occupy them and to encourage inclusion. It has accessibility to meet other residents and make friends. The visiting protocol was also good. They were very accommodating, and we are very pleased with how they treated some of the other residents.

We chose Brookdale Murrysville because it's clean and they had a single room that's just right for my dad. The staff and the food seem fine, and my dad hasn't complained. They have a couple of TV areas, and they always try to get the people out in the mornings. The price is good for what I'm getting.

Brookdale was very clean, very bright, and updated. However, it was not in our budget. The staff was very informative, very enlightening, and very helpful. They answered my questions very promptly.

I placed my mom in Brookdale Murrysville, which has a patient ratio of one patient to five employees. It was super clean and my mother has only fallen one time, and my mom was an extreme fall-risk prior to her being in a facility. If she doesn't want what they're having for food, they have backup options that she can choose from. I ended up paying more, but the care is 10 times better. The whole environment is different. It is set up like a house, and there are many places for the patients to roam around. There are two really nice TV rooms, a separate kitchen that the families are welcome to use to cook dinner, and a dining table in there that you can have your own family-style private dinner. They have an enclosed circular patio with tables and chairs for you to take your pets outside, and you're allowed to have pets, and they provide care for the dogs. When they help my mom, my mom doesn't even realize she's getting helped. When she's walking in the hallways, they just walk up and start carrying on a conversation and make sure that she's steady on her feet. The showers are impeccable and much smaller so she can stand in the shower and it's small enough that she can shower with assistance. They have good menu planning. If you get hungry in the middle of the night, they not only have snacks, but they also make sandwiches for the patients. The staff is very friendly, helpful, and do everything they can to work with the families. The communication is incredible. If I call and happen not to get an answer, I get a callback within 10 minutes. They're always there to answer my call. One night, the only time that she has fallen, I was on the phone with her, and I put her on hold and I called them and asked them if they could check on her. By the time I hung up the phone, the girl was in my mom's room and getting my mom up. She cleaned up the floor and everything. They have a very safe environment. Even in the evenings, there are five people to one person. There's only 38 beds, so they're not too big. The patients don't even have to go all the way back to their rooms to go to the bathrooms because there are several bathrooms all throughout the facility in every wing and hallway, so there's no rushing. It's available right there. It's just an amazing facility.

Brookdale looked pretty good. Everything was really nice, and there were so many people. The rooms looked nice, and the place was very homey. They didn’t have any availability, though, so I was not able to use them. I was looking for respite care, but they didn’t have availability.

My father is in Brookdale Murrysville. They are pretty good, and we are generally pleased with them. We want to see more people there, but they are doing a pretty good job.

My wife's Grandmother last year was diagnosed with dementia. After visiting, we chose for her to stay at Clare Bridge of Murrysville. The staff is immensely helpful. Through every step of the process, from transitioning her into the facility to giving us timely updates on her well being, they handled it with professionalism and sensitivity. The facilities are clean and they do their best to create a sense of community amongst the residents. Anyone in the area with a family member or loved one in need of their services would do well with the caring staff and safe environment Clare Bridge provides.
