We needed to find a place quickly for respite care for my father in law, who suffered a stroke, as we were traveling for work. We spent almost 2 hours touring the facility with Missy and fell in love with Exton Senior Living. The facility is beautiful and incredibly bright and welcoming. The staff were so friendly and kind, you can feel a real sense of family at the community. During my father in law’s stay, his health declined and he needed to go to the hospital. Chris and Missy regularly checked in with us and also helped us in making the best decisions for my father in law and his care. Upon discharge, it was recommended by the hospital that my father in law find a permanent placement somewhere, without hesitation, we chose Exton. The level of care my father in law receives is excellent and we truly love the facility. He will remain with Exton until he requires skilled nursing care. We’re so grateful for the community.

As a volunteer at Exton Senior Living, I love seeing such happy residents! It’s a great community to be involved with and the staff are friendly and caring. The recent renovations are beautiful! Highly recommend!!!

We went to look at Exton Senior Living. The guide for us was the head of housekeeping. He was very nice, and he did a great job. He introduced us to some of the residents that were there. It was very personable. I like the rooms, and they are comparable. It's not a big place, so my stepmother wouldn't have to walk far. It was under construction because they're renovating the whole place. They showed us a beautiful dining room. If you want to have an event for your loved one that lived there, you could use that room. There was a big dining room table. They had a hair salon and an in-house rehab facility. So if you needed any rehab, you didn't have to leave, take transportation, and go anywhere else. It was more affordable for my stepmom. They had an outside patio.

The one who gave us a tour of Exton Senior Living was a wonderful lady. She was very good, and they do a great job with what they do. It's definitely more for memory care, and my dad is independent plus. If he was in memory care, I would definitely go with this place. They offere wonderful care. The place was beautiful, and there's lots of promise for the future. They're doing a lot of renovations. It was nice, and the people were wonderful. It's beautiful for everything that they offer. They have a lot of one on one and a lot of personal care. It's wonderful. It's a good price for that care, but we're not quite there yet. The dining area was fine and looks adequate. Their dining area wasn't redone, but it was adequate.

I went to Exton Senior Living. It's older and less updated. I didn't have a good feeling there. It felt older and did not have as many windows and just didn't have a nice, warm feeling. It wasn't as clean or as new because it's like 20 years old. But the people there are so nice. It's just like I didn't think it was a good environment. They had a movie room. The other facilities have a code to get in, but, in Exton, they had a painted door that if they wanted to, they could push through, it wasn't as secure as the other places I went to. What stood out to me that I thought was better than the others, is that they have a program called a 360 program, where whenever a resident comes to stay there, they have one of their staff members spend every single day for 30 days with this resident getting to know them, what they like and what they don't like. So they seem to get a lot of one-on-one care, consistently around the clock, really personal, getting to know them. And I thought that sounded great. But because the place was so dark and cold and old, and just not a nice feeling, I just didn't think my father-in-law would be okay there.

Exton Senior Living seemed not to be very well maintained. The rooms were tiny and needed attention. We had an appointment and I thought it was odd to be shown around by the maintenance manager because he didn't know the answers to a lot of questions. The dining area seemed adequate and accommodating. You can get a meal any time of the day from 7:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m.; you don't have to come at a set time. The people seemed happy with the food they were getting. The common areas were not well kept and seemed very crowded.

I visited and talked to the marketing guy at Exton Senior Living. I saw the dining area, it was clean, and I heard the food was prepared by a special chef. They had a tea party when I was there. The room looked nice, the community was very nice, and the residents seemed very content with it. The location was also good.

I wasn't too fond of Exton Senior Living. I felt like I was in an old folk's home. I was not comfortable there. There were a lot of 80-year-olds. For me, it was very depressing because I'm only 76-years-old, but I don't see myself as old. There's nothing wrong with the facility. It's good for elderly people that need help getting around. They have a nice restaurant and they have a food plan. They're very helpful. They have a lot of things for the people to do. They have private transportation that takes them where they have to go. It's operated quite well. They have a nice maintenance crew. The facility was kept up very well and it was clean. I would recommend them to elderly folks if they want to go to a senior living facility. The staff was very pleasant, very nice, very helpful, and very respectful. They answered all the questions that I had, and they also were very caring people. They take pride in their job and they respect the people that live there. The food was topnotch. They have good, well-prepared meals as well.

Poorly staffed. Advertise 24hr “nurse” on duty a lie merely to get you in. Poor menu costs sharply cut to provide low quality food. Bed bugs unreported to State

If I was looking for assisted living, Exton would have been my first choice. They didn’t have much for independent living. It seemed friendly, and the residents seemed happy and fairly engaged, which was positive. It was relatively easy to navigate, but the building was built as a hotel, so it looks like a hotel with long, narrow hallways and hotel rooms, not real apartments. The dining area was nice and adequate. The head of the service unit came out and spoke with me; he seemed like a nice guy. Everything was available whenever people wanted to eat, so that was a plus.

The community where my husband is currently being taken care of is Exton Senior Living, and so far they’ve been wonderful. My husband is in their personal care program. They’ve been very accommodating and very flexible, it’s just been excellent. We’re going into our second month, and they have been nothing but accommodating to me. They keep his room clean, they keep him clean, and he has his TV. It’s all he needs, and it’s very good. Maybe they can improve the security a bit because there had been times I’ve gone in when they’ve had the door alarms on, and I didn’t see anybody responding to the door alarms. The door alarms going off, and I don’t see any personnel coming out to look who has been through the doorway. The price is doable for me. Basically, I have to provide for him on social security, so it’s within my means. The location is excellent because it’s only about three miles from my house.

Very friendly staff. Greeted as soon as I walked in and I felt very welcome. You can tell that the staff genuinely cares about their residents and always makes sure that all residents are happy, clean, and comfortable. Nice clean building!

Exton Senior Living is a nice building filled with people who truly care about all of their residents and staff. When I come to see my mom, she always looks nice and tells me how happy she is, and I know that she gets great care every single day and night. Mom has made lots of friends here and they go to all of their favorite activities together. It is a big weight off of my shoulders to know that my mom is happy, safe, and most importantly, home in a place she loves.

My brother has now been at Exton Senior Living for over three years. In all of that time he has never expressed any dissatisfaction with the facilities or how he is treated. I live out of state but I have visited him at Exton Senior Living several times and I call him weekly. On these visits, I found the facility to be clean, the food to be good and the staff to be courteous and friendly. During the telephones calls I always ask him how they are treating him and how the meals are. He always responds positively. As my brother is suffering from Alzheimer's I know he will not get better. In fact, he will only get worse. That in itself is awful, but I am just glad that I found a place like Exton Senior Living to take care of him. I highly recommend Exton Senior Living for anyone needing the type of services they provide.

My mother is in a locked Alzheimer's unit at Exton Senior Living. They are actively engaging all the residents constantly. They're reading news to them, they have them play games, and the women are painting her fingernails and curling their hair. They are absolutely spectacular with these residents. I had lunch there, and it was just fine. They had in their dining area, for the dementia patients, a certain color of placemats and plate on top of it, so that the residents can easily observe where their plates are and where their utensils are. They have people walking around to assist anybody that needs help with their food. If a resident has problems eating, they have a private little dining area for them. I found them to be excellent. They have a nurse on duty 24/7. I'm just absolutely pleased. Each resident has their little refrigerator in their room, and it makes them feel like it's a home. The rooms are spacious enough. They have two good sized closets in the room and their own private shower and bath. They also have some rooms for two residents.

I initially liked Exton Senior Living. I think the placed look homier, comfy, nicer. I just like the way it was decorated. It was older, but it was nice.

We visited my mother-in-law when she was at Exton, and she seemed to be very happy there, but she’s deceased now. Their staff and their facilities were first class. They have a very happy staff. When she was there she liked to play bingo and she liked the sing alongs. It was a very clean and a very nice facility.

My mom is now in Exton Senior Living. We chose this facility first of all because of the price and also because it was a very nice, clean and pleasant-looking place. The people there are great. We're really pleased with it. My mom has been there since April last year. We really like it. They're good. They've done everything to help us keep her there. They've also bent over backwards to give her the care that she needs.

My mother's friend is living there, he is very confused, disoriented and angry. They have been keeping him safe. He can still feed himself, partially dress himself, and he walks with a walker. Family and close family friends can leave messages for him, He gets his mail and all in all he is safe.
