My mom is staying at Devon Senior Living, and she loves it. She's ninety-two, she has a nice room, she loves the food, and she thinks the people there are really nice. It's very lucky that it's close to where we live, too -- less than two miles away. She seems to be happy there. She said the staff are all very lovely people. She can't say enough good things about them. Her room is immaculate; it's very nice. We saw it before she moved in. It's connected to a patio, and the room is very big. She's in a companion room, but currently she's alone there. She could move her furniture in there, as that is allowed. They painted it, and they put down new carpet, so it seems new. It's very clean on top of everything, and so far, we haven't had any complaints. The only problem we had was that her cell phone did not work there. We discovered that the area has lousy cell-phone coverage so we got her a landline instead, and now she's happy. The staff is really nice, and they know my name. They're very personable and efficient. When we come in for a visit once a week, they clean everything up. They're also very conscious of COVID. They take our temperatures when we walk in, they put sanitizer in our hands, and they clean the whole area. I have to say these people are wonderful. The building is very nice. It's in the middle of Devon, and it has trees around it.

DO NOT send your loved ones to this horrible place! My dear Father walked in here smiling on a Monday afternoon and by Saturday morning, he was found unresponsive being rushed to the hospital taken out on a stretcher! He was severely dehydrated and numerous blood clots in his legs. He was in a memory care unit and was told he needed prompting and reminders to drink and eat. They neglected him! The staff has no compassion or love. Extremely disrespectful and poorly run! From the beginning, the communication is horrible. Dominique does not know how to return calls. We were given paperwork and contracts after my Dad was admitted. Erica, the Director of Nursing, has the coldest heart if she in fact has a heart. No one could give us an answer to what happened to my Dad. We wanted to pick up his belongings, no one would call us back. So funny that the staff has time on their Facebook page to make videos of them doing the chicken dance, yet they can't give my Father a glass of water! Horrible place. Stay away. Would never recommend!

The Devon Senior Living is OK, but right now during the COVID it is what it is. I like that they keep us informed of the different things that are going on. Right now we're getting emails and calls, and they're cooperative. I haven't been inside because we can't really go inside, but I heard that it's a very nice facility inside, and clean. They have a very good location, they're very close to the King of Prussia Plymouth, and very accessible to all the surrounding areas. As far as the front desk staff member is concerned, she's very courteous. When we ask for the laundry, she gets the laundry and brings it down. She's very cooperative and pleasant.

My father is living in The Devon Senior Living. Overall, we’ve had a very good experience with them. They have been very hands on, they are very welcoming, and it is a very warm community. One of the things we like about it is that there is a 40 percent ratio of men to women, which is unusual for an assisted living facility, and therefore is a very good fit for a male like my father. We’ve had nothing but good things to say about it. It is not the most modern place, but the people care, it is very family oriented, and they are very good about following up and knowing both the residents and their family members and treating them with dignity and good care. I love the warm community, the dedicated personnel, the close proximity to our home, and the 40 percent male to female ratio. I have seen some of their activities. They have bands, Bingo, and art classes. They seemed to have a number of activities that take place during the close of the day.

My mother is at The Devon. I like the price, and my mother’s room is very nice. It’s bigger than the other place. The dining room is fine, but she doesn’t care for the food. She does a few crafts, which is good, but they need more of that there.

I chose Devon Senior living, and I was helped by Judy of Caring; she was excellent, and she helped me find something in my price range. Ken, the senior manager there, helped me meet my monthly premium. I like how they engage my mother; she is pretty healthy, but she needs engagement, and I see she’s actually improving at 95 instead of going the other way. I placed Mom there last December. The place is 15 miles away, but it was worth the drive. My mom is very pleased with the food, and she has actually gained weight there. They have special brunches on special occasions, like holidays. The staff was phenomenal. All of them from Ken to the receptionist, down to the caring aides, are very good. The place is beautiful with beautiful people.

I was not happy with The Devon Senior Living because the communication was horrendous. I was misled with the communication. They hardly had any activities. I would consider them boring. For the women they have stuff, but not too much. Once I signed the papers at the Devon I didn't hear from anybody. The one doctor at the Devon I never spoke to him, ever. I called several times. Overall, it was not a good experience.

My mom is in The Devon Senior Living since September and it's been great! For my mom's level, it is a perfect place for her. It is not overwhelming not like those huge complexes. The staff is very caring and nice. They know everybody by name and they are very attentive. Her apartment is very nice. She has a living area, a bedroom, a nice size bathroom and she's very comfortable there. It is really cozy and she really likes it a lot. She said the food is good. There is a lot for her to do. She likes doing crafts like making jewelry, she does painting, she plays bingo, bowling and participates in music. Singers like Frank Sinatra come in. She is socializing more and they do a good job in trying to involve the family too. They have brunches for the family to come out and visit. My mom has also been in a couple of dinners where they take them out to dinners. Overall, we are very happy with them.

Mother is a resident since 2010. It has been a constant battle to make sure her bathing schedule is maintained. The rooms and facility are attractive as well as activities offered. I have found staffing to be light particularly at nights and weekends.

The Devon Senior Living was a smaller facility than the others. The staff were very nice and they kept in contact with me every month and sent me newsletters as to what was going on. I liked the set up, the room size and everything. The place was very clean and it did not smell. They had all kinds of activities. I was very pleased with them and the communication we had, plus it seemed like a good fit to my mother-in-law.

We visited The Devon Senior Living and it was just comparable to the other facilities we visited in terms of food, care and the staff.

For the most part, it is a very clean facility. Sometimes the staff seem to be a little inattentive to the needs of the patients and don't have the greatest knowledge in caring for the elderly. I have seen residents wandering the halls aimlessly with little or no help coming from staff members. With that being said, most of the residents I have interacted with seem to be happy with their stay.

I recently had my father brought into Devon Senior Living. I was nervous about doing it because it was my first experience with senior living homes. So I visited him quite frequently at first. I could not have been more comfortable there. Everyone is so nice and only think of the best ways to make you feel at home.
