My mom moved into Sunrise of Paoli. She loves it. She loves every bit of it. She likes the fact that it's a community and not a hospital, and that it's very clean. She also likes the fact that everyone there is very friendly. She also likes the fact that when she asks for some help, they're very prompt and also very professional. The staff is very professional. The food is excellent. The facility is very clean and very orderly. Everything is very well marked. You don't get lost in the building. You don't get lost outside. They have activities every day. My mom participates in them and she's an instructor in some of the activities. She instructs knitting and crochet. So, she's not only involved as a participant as well as an instructor. They have a veranda that you can sit on and they also have a common area where you can sit as well as the dining area, like a bistro-type area.

The staff was disconnected and uninterested. The management was unresponsive during meetings and kept looking at watch. Activities were listed, but they never took my dad to participate. He was left alone and then we were required to hire private care, extra expense on us, bc they were lazy. He had many accidents bc they were inattentive. We moved him to a much better facility. And we visited daily, there were many with no visitors, horrid.

Sunrise of Paoli was really nice, it was just rather expensive. They were spacious with a variety of different options available to the residents. They have a one-bedroom, two-bedroom, or studio. The staff members were very personable and knowledgeable. They had an indoor bistro, a dining room, and an activities room. They were also exercising when we were there.

We're moving my mother into Sunrise of Paoli. We were very happy with what we saw yesterday. My brother had seen another place with my mother a couple of years ago, and the first reaction was to stop looking. However, yesterday we had a completely different reaction to the place in a positive sense. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. The sales manager was extremely competent and helpful. I haven't been looking a lot, but what I saw seemed to satisfy our needs as we now know them. I saw a salon. They have what we need for our mom.

The staff at Sunrise treated my mother as they would their own mother. They were accessible when we called or visited, which was a lot! Mom lived independently for 92 years so our family was concerned about her adjustment. To quote her "Everyone has to be somewhere and if I have to be somewhere, this is a nice place to be."

I think Sunrise was an absolutely beautiful place, but I would absolutely not recommend it because of how they went about the assessment of Mother and the money situation. I did not like the way they decided in the care assessment, and that it's all about the money. The staff was twisting everything.

I'm impressed with my visit to Sunrise, and they were very nice. The staff was good; however, it was more than what my mother could afford. The rooms looked like they were comfortable to live in. The dining area was very nice and looked clean.

Sunrise of Paoli was nicely furnished. The rooms were very small, and the common area was small for the number of people they had. It was right off of a major road, which I didn’t like. Everything was small. The grounds were very small, and there was one small gated area outside the back, which I guess was available for people to use. I wasn’t impressed at all.

Sunrise of Paoli was really nice, and the staff that I interacted with are really nice. It was all very nice. They had a ton of stuff going on -- like cards and Bingo. I would say it would be a great place and they have an awesome memory care unit for anybody with Alzheimer's or dementia. I would recommend them.

My husband is at Sunrise of Paoli. It is a very good community with good security and nice staff. I’ve eaten lunch there, and it’s very good. They have activities all of the time. They try to keep them busy, but my husband doesn’t always go. All of the patients are assisted living, but they’re very mobile whereas my husband is in a wheelchair. The price is as good as any of the places I visited, although it is a little bit less than some of the others. The fact that it’s only 10 minutes from my home makes it so much better.

The room was smaller at Sunrise of Paoli. We thought the population was a little bit more infirmed than my sister is. Her memory is going, but physically she is better than the people there who were mostly in wheelchair and on walkers. The staff seems very nice. The woman that we met with was very nice too. Everybody that we met there was very nice, but they just seem more infirmed than she is so we didn’t think that was the place for her. It was too far away from me as well. It is also smaller than the others. They all have the same kinds of activities. We just did a walkthrough of the dining area, and I don't remember it that much.

I was impressed by Sunrise. There’s always something going on there. I was greeted warmly, and I enjoyed meeting everybody. They were active. The rooms and the dining room were both very nice. Their head of activities was a musician, so the activities tended to be musical, and the residents related to it well.

Sunrise of Paoli is the best we found for mom. She's been there for 2 months now. Its 10 minutes away from my house. We had some food, it was nice. They have multiple choices. The food is served well. They take the residents on outings. For indoor activities, there's music and cooking classes. This place is excellent.
