I visited a friend at The Springs at Tanasbourne. It was too expensive, and there were too many people around. It's very, very beautiful, it's new, she cooks in there, she has a washer and dryer in her place, and it has more facilities than I do in my place. I took a tour of that place with a staff member, and they were very thorough in what they showed and told us. Everything was very attractive, and it was very clean.

We went to The Springs at Tanasbourne. There are a lot of activities, a lot of people around, and things are moving. There were cars out in front. They were getting ready to go to the beach or somewhere, so they were doing that. The staff members were excellent. The tour person introduced me to some of the people, and they were very informative and friendly. It's just very warm there. The facilities were good. They had the usual things that the rest of them did. I want to note that, as we went by, there were residents that were sitting in the dining room not eating as it was not time to eat, but they all waved as we went by and said hi, and I couldn't believe it. I was surprised.

The Springs at Tanasbourne was a nice place. They had several different levels of accommodation, but it was on the more expensive side. The people that we talked to were nice and we even were able to eat a meal there and the food was quite good. Most of the rooms were new. The ones that we were shown were recently renovated with new appliances and various other things that have been upgraded. They're very accommodating. They had a calendar on the wall and every day was filled with activities. They provided transportation to activities that were off campus. One of the benefits is that it's six blocks away from a hospital and also just a stone's throw away from the Tanasbourne Mall. It was a very new place and it was nice. The only staff we met were the marketing director who gave us the tour and the waitress who served the food for us and both of them were very nice people. We enjoyed talking with them and meeting them, but we didn't meet any of the other staff people. The marketing director was very good, very accommodating, very knowledgeable, and was able to answer all our questions. The waitress was a college student, and whenever she had a break from college, she would work for the company. She's been doing it for about five years and she was nice. There's a dining room, an exercise room, and a party room. We had a good experience there.

The Springs at Tanasbourne was wonderful. I toured the independent living and it was a really clean place. It was very nicely organized and very well decorated. I can't remember the lady's name right now, but she was very helpful in giving us the tour. We got to see the cafeteria area and the different activity rooms. We also saw a couple of rooms that my mother would be living in like the 1-bedroom and then a studio. They were very clean and very well equipped. Overall, I was very impressed with the facility.

The Springs is a three-story structure. There are different levels. The room I saw was well-designed and well-laid-out. It is in a good location because there are all kinds of restaurants nearby. There are shopping centers, a theater, and grocery store too. Everything is within walking distance. They have all the activities and the recreational facilities you want. They have a swimming pool, a small putting green, and a gymnasium that is fairly well-stocked. The food is good, but you have like $600 toward your food and you subtract money each time you have a meal. I don't like that.

My Mother-In-law just loves it at The Springs. She has been there since 2017. There are so many things for her to do. She is always busy! She has made friends and loves the staff and her home there. Fabulous room and the whole place is so clean and beautiful. The food is TOP notch! My family always gets a good meal too when we go to visit!!! It's fun to have drinks in the bar with her. She is living the good life!HIGHLY recommend this Senior Living Community.

I liked that The Springs is nicely painted and has lovely public rooms. It has a food lounge with a restaurant setting. The apartments are big, and there's an indoor swimming pool. They have exercises, mahjong, outings on the bus, and a therapy pool. They serve all three meals but your monetary allowance for food is your choice. They provide housekeeping and rides to doctors' appointments. The people seem very happy to live there.

The Springs at Tanasbourne was a beautiful place. I did visit it, but I did not look at the assisted living. It was beautiful, but they charge you a flat rate for food whether you use it or not. The rooms, the staff, and the activities were all good though.

Terrible care givers. They leave the residents in there rooms almost all day every day. Rarely they will respond to the residents when they ring the workers for help. Awful workers, and the managers etc don't care either as long as they get there checks.

Before my dad passed away, he was a past resident of The Springs At Tanasbourne. They have independent living, assisted living and memory care. It was a beautiful facility. Everything was contained. They had a movie theater, an indoor swimming pool, a gym, a barber and a beauty shop, and a gift store. They had all kinds of large recreational areas. You didn't have to go too far to do something that you like to do. They also had a putting green on site for golfers. They did have lots of outdoor living. They had restaurant dining. Personally, I look forward to going out there and eating off the menu. You can order a glass of wine or a drink. They also had a separate pub there. I would just put this place as A++. It was fantastic. The sanitation of this facility was wonderful. You would just have a good feeling about it. Every time we went in there, I had absolutely no problem at all. They laundered their residents' clothes if they wanted it to, but the residents could also do it if they wanted to. The people were absolutely totally competent and caring. They gave over-the-top care to my dad. I would absolutely recommend them.

The Springs is like being on a cruise ship on land. It's very upscale and everything. They have more than one restaurant-style. You're given so much money a month to use on food and you can come and go. Breakfast can be anytime you want all through the day or lunch or they have like a bistro type, restaurant-type activity if you want a light snacky lunch. They have a pool there for water aerobics which I do a lot but, unfortunately, I can't afford it. I barely could get a studio out of it. Although it?s lovely, the staff was very congenial. It's a good quality place for those who can afford it. The other thing I like, too, is they had multiple storage areas. You have the one on your deck then there's one on each floor kind of like little locker-type things that you could put stuff in. Their 1-bedroom with a den was a neat concept. It is exquisite but you pay for that. The only reason I?m rating it a 4 is because of cost and they're pretty high-priced so you'd have to be pretty upper middle class or above.

The amenities and the facilities were some of the positives that I took away from my frequent visits to this facility. They had an amazing room for lounging and reading next to a vintage room that had a bar and billiards table. It really looked like they were attempting to make the older residents feel like it was the time of their prime. The movie theater was also a nice touch. The negatives, however, overshadowed the positives. The hallways made the place seem like a crowded motel where people were sectioned off like cattle. Some of the rooms were very far away from the lobby and even made me, a young man, winded. The staff, although some were helpful and polite, seemed resentful and mean towards the elderly as they put on a happy face but acted like the residents were little children. I hope my kids one day don't put me in a place like this.

I just happened to be visiting the park adjacent to this facility with my daughter this week. I was amazed at the attentiveness, kindness, enthusiasm and affection shown to the residents by the employees. I've never seen anything like it at a retirement home. I have no affiliation with any employee or resident but watching the interaction really made an impression on me and I wanted to share it with anyone searching the web for information.

Compared to an assisted living facility I had visited 10 years ago the Springs felt like a fancy hotel. It was very clean and modern. There were plenty of amenities and things for the residents to do. For the most part the staff seemed professional, although they were a bit hurried. I have a very sensitive nose and the entire facility had a decent odor, as compared to other places I have visited.

My father was placed there for 1 week respite. They were very supportive and tried to meet all his needs even though he was not there on a permanent basis.
