I was at Maryville Nursing Home for rehab. It was fabulous care. The staff was very friendly, attentive, and professional, at least the ones in the skilled unit that I dealt with. I was there for a little bit, and it was a good experience. My room was clean and comfortable. The food was good, and it's pretty high quality. They provided me with physical therapy and occupational therapy, and it was very good. They're very skilled at what they were doing.

I am the daughter of a former patient who was in Maryville for rehab. My father was in the facility for 6 weeks and thoroughly enjoyed the rehab facilities and the wonderful help he received from his therapist Mathew. When he was forced out of the facility on Christmas Eve, his 95th birthday, he lost his reading glasses and never recovered them. He also arrived at his new destination without his belongings which were found outside the back door from which he exited. Apparently these belongings were found hours later and finally recovered by the family. So I would like to caution anyone using this facility, watch out when your are about to be leaving.

My mother was at Maryville Nursing Home for some time for rehabilitation. They're very nice. It's a very good place, but they were just beyond anything I can possibly afford. The staff was very nice. I wish I could've kept her there. I was very pleased with it.

The first anniversary of Mother's death approaches and the staff in the Alzheimers ward are still on my mind -- I cannot find the words to adequately express my appreciation for the care and affection they gave to Mother as well as the kindness with which they treated us, her family. I truly believe they are God's guardian angels sent to earth to watch over families like ours.

I left the hospital in two days and went to Maryville for rehab. I was very pleased with my care because I went primarily for rehab, and they started working with me right away. I thought everything was very good. I was in a two-bedroom with a little 97-year-old lady who was nice company. The food was good, and I liked the staff. The nurses were good and helped me with my shower. I usually had a nurse that changed my neck brace and a nurses’ aide. My grandson goes to the private school right next door, so it was very convenient for my family to visit me almost every day when they picked him up. Everybody was very friendly and very helpful, and it was very clean. The only thing I thought that they should do or pay more attention to was oral hygiene and make sure residents do it or remind them because I think I was there three days before they suggested or offered. I know that sounds petty, but I also know that when the state does inspections and mark them down if they don’t do oral hygiene.

My dad was happy in a private room at Maryville Nursing Home. It was a very good, caring nursing home. I didn't have to worry about his care despite being down here in California. There was direct communication about what they did or what they were doing to my dad. We had monthly calls or meetings. They had indoor activities and outdoor activities.

We have placed my friend’s sister in Maryville Nursing Home. We like the care the people were getting. It was clean; it didn’t smell. People seemed happy.

I am 23 years old and my Grandmother was a resident of Maryville Nursing Home for roughly 6 months this past year before passing away. The home is new, small, intimate, modern, clean, and warm. The team of people that run the facility, while a bit small, is amazing. I spent quite a lot of time there and it was amazing how attentive the staff was to my grandmother's needs. Every resident has their own plush room and even though the facility is a bit spendy, I would highly recommend it to anyone who can afford it. There are weekly activities and many of the residents "hang out" with one another in the common area. The nighttime staff is always around, awake, and ready for action. I am so thankful that my grandmother was comfortable in her final days.
