I will start by saying if I could give 10 stars I would. After caring for my husband for 9 years, full time for the last 3 1/2 years, I decided he was declining to a point that I needed more help in caring for him. After struggling with the thought of putting him in a facility I had tried to get him in Baptist Village but due to some financial reasons it wasn’t possible in beginning so I chose another facility. It was not a good experience for us as he needed full care including feeding and his needs were not met. After various different things happened in that facility, I knew I couldn’t leave him there. He was now Medicaid approved and we could now go to Baptist Village. He was accepted and we transferred him after about 5 weeks at the other facility. Oh my! The difference in care was remarkable. Each staff person introduced themselves and they came in every couple of hours to check on him. All staff members seemed to take it to a personal level. I think each one cared for him as if it was their family member. They got him up daily to eat meals in dining room. He wasn’t himself and I thought it was due to the move and kept waiting for him to improve but he didn’t. The staff, as well as hospice, was trying to prepare me but I had seen him get down many times and recover so I kept telling them they just didn’t know him. They allowed me and his mom to stay with him due to his condition and aides came in every 2 hours, 24 hours a day. He was there two weeks and continued to decline although staff and I were trying our best to get his strength up. He had quit eating and didn’t want drink. I insisted on giving him iv fluids although nurses were trying to tell me it was end time. I thought they just didn’t know him. But they knew. They had experience with it. I started comfort care as he had already stopped responding to us and he was gone in 4 days. They allowed us all the company we wanted and nurse was in there every couple of hours to make sure he was comfortable. We could not have asked for better support. All staff were there for our family and for him. I’m so glad we had Evergreen at Baptist Village staff there for us during that time. We would not have made it through this without them. I thought the facility itself was beautiful but staff is above and beyond. Thank you to all staff on East wing for your support. I know in my soul that God sent us there.

We have chosen Baptist Village of Owasso for my cousin. It's closer to where I work, and the facility is kept up well. There's no deterioration in the rooms, bathrooms, shower rooms, and stuff like that. It's just cleaner. They're well-staffed, too. I had seen the size of the rooms, the hours of the staff, how often is the director of nursing there on site, and the physical therapy area and how often they work with them. I also saw the shower, which was a big deal. The lawn and the outside of the building are all well cared for also. The grounds are well taken care of. I just dropped in to get a tour, so they were very accommodating.

My 80+ yr old mother moved here because her need of care in our home had exceeded our abilities. Sadly, we moved her in at the height of the pandemic and were unable to tour the facility beforehand. We had to base our decision solely on the sterling reputation of Baptist Village. Ours has been a good experience. Mom has bonded very well with the various members of the very caring staff. While it is not a new facility, it certainly seems to be well maintained. I visit twice weekly and always find it clean, warm (or cool - as needed). I have seen the residents engaged in various group activities like Bingo, solitaire, or Birthday gatherings. There is a library, a couple of friendly small birds in the lobby, a small garden spot, a piano, and an electric "fireplace" in the Liberty Place dining room. Mom even said there is a lady that visits with her craft cart to let those who which to participate, join in a craft. I've noticed there are snacks, juice, water, coffee, tea readily available for the folks to enjoy. Again, the staff goes above and beyond to care for the residents. Breakfast and lunch seem to always be heavier than supper. Thus the snacks.

We toured the Baptist Village of Owasso. My mom hated it. It was nice, clean, we looked at an apartment, and it was small. It was functional for a single person, but not for a couple. There wasn't anything wrong with it, she just hated the idea of living in a place like that. The staff was very helpful and very nice. There seemed to be a lot of activities when I was touring and when we took my mom there. It appeared that the residents were involved in the activities.

We went to the Baptist Village of Owasso. We looked at the different levels of care they had in them. They're an older setup. You can tell the years that they were built in by the architecture. You can tell 1970s architecture from 2020 architecture. Some of it was looking dated and everything, but it seemed well taken care of and upkept. The residents seemed happy. It can't compare with the brand new ones for all the latest amenities and everything like that, but it was in very good shape. We went there, toured the rooms, talked to a few of the residents that were out in the hallways, and looked at the cafeteria and things like that, but we really didn't talk a whole lot to the staff. They were well kept up. There was definitely nothing shabby about them. The cafeteria, the apartments, the cabinets in the apartments and everything were 1950s, 1960s and 1970s style. They looked dated, but not shabby. It's kinda like my mom and dad's home. That's the feeling I got with the cafeteria and the apartments. My mom would be perfectly at home in those apartments. They had a courtyard with some barbecue grills and things like that. They had an activity room, but we didn't go through it because there were people in there doing things, and we didn't want to intrude too much. We only spent about two hours max at that place.

I selected Baptist Village of Owasso and I moved in. It's great. With this COVID-19 you don't get to see many people right now, but overall the ones I do see, they're real nice, polite, caring, and take the time and talk to you. It's just a one-bedroom, one-bath with a living room and a kitchen is what I got. It's just right for me, it's just right for one person. I know there's a pond there, they said you could go fishing, I haven't been there yet, but they usually have bingo and bible study. Until all this COVID is done, they're not gonna have too many get togethers, but they have socials. It's a nice facility, it's well kept, everything is groomed and clean, so you can't beat it. It's the cheapest one I found.

My mother moved into Baptist Village of Owasso. It wasn't as nice as it should be, but they offer skilled nursing. It's a nice building.

My parents moved to Baptist Village of Owasso in January, and it's been very beneficial. They're religious-focused, so they have singing and Bible study, and they also have Bingo. They get three meals a day. They have linen and laundry service every two weeks, and cable TV is provided. All their medications are managed by the facility. The staff has been helpful and they get along with everyone. It's a very family-focused atmosphere. The rooms are tidy and nice-sized for what they have. There's a lot of openness to the community.

My father was here for a short while and I honestly believe it took years off his life! Terrible, terrible place! The Director is only concerned about making a buck, has favorite patients and treats he others like criminals! If you care about someone, never, ever ut them in this place!!!

Baptist Village is a retirement community, an assisted living place, and a memory place. We were very impressed. It is an older community as far as the building, but it does look like home, and we'll feel more comfortable there. They are friendly, and they did offer us a two-bedroom apartment with one bath, which was way too small. My husband has to have a walker to get around, and there would be no way he could have gotten around in that part of the bathroom. The only complaint I had was they raise the rent every first of the year. That is going to be hard for a senior citizen especially when they are living on social security and their retirement.

Baptist Village has assisted living. They have independent plus they have a nursing home. It had everything. Each little village of its own has its own office-type thing. The staff was excellent, very, very nice, very caring. The dining room looked like some nice restaurant
