My mom moved into Homestead of Del City. She immediately felt comfortable when she arrived there, and all of the care and the needs that she's needed are promptly given to her. There's a full-time nurse on staff that went through a full assessment of her needs and is managing her well. She has a one-bedroom with a sitting area and a private bathroom with a walk-in shower. They provide exercises, crafting, and bingo. They have a full dining area where they have the social settings. They have a fully decorated lounging area with a big screen TV for them to sit around and watch, and the grounds are beautiful. They have established vegetation and roses and wind chimes.

My cousin moved in. Everything seems great, and the people seem really friendly. It's kind of a small, but friendly area with a large hallway, a kitchenette and a bathroom off of it. The bedroom looks like a semi-large bedroom, and it's clean. The staff was great and answered all my questions and I had a lot of them. I had about 20 interview questions and they answered them all. I have not tried their food yet. They do book club, bingo, a couple of different club thing, like once a month, but they have a whole lot of activities. I was impressed with the "chocolate days" where they're gonna do a chocolate fountain. There's International Pastry Day, and they're gonna order out a whole bunch of different kinds of pastries for the residents to try out.

I went here and it was very clean, very friendly, and very inviting. They had a dining hall, arts and crafts room, TV room, a place where you can walk, and an outside patio area. I didn't interact much with the staff, but I thought that was one of their strengths. The food looked good and smelled good. I liked the way the facility was laid out.

It wasn't as bright and as easy to navigate as the others. While my aunt can walk with the use of her walker, it seemed like a long distance to walk from the available rooms to the dining room. The room we saw were pretty small with one bedroom, a bath, a small closet, and a living kitchen area. The biggest drawback for her was the size of the room, and the biggest drawback for me was the distance from the available rooms to the dining area. The activities seemed adequate, and they offered the activity room for her to cook meals.

We went and it was amazing. That would have been our first choice if my mother could have gone to assisted living. The apartments were very spacious, you basically have 2 choices on them which is good, and it was just a very nice place. The staff was amazing, very informative, very straightforward, and answered any and all questions we had. There was a 1-person concert going on when we were there.

It is the best place ever. It is an amazing place. It is a wonderful housing for independent living. The independent living houses are ridiculous! As far as our experience was, it was fantastic. It is really good. That's where we would have chosen. The staff members were great. As far as the assisted living, the units were just like small apartments, but the independent living units were brand new houses. It was amazing! It was unbelievable! It was not your typical senior place. The dining facility looked really nice, too.

It was clean, and the staff knew what they were doing. They had both studios and apartments. It looked like there were plenty of activities for them to do. The staff took me around, showed me all around, told me the information I needed, so they're very helpful.

We visited, they have independent, they also have Alzheimer's and dementia, and all that. It was really nice and I love the staff. The area for memory care is secure, and the residents can't get out. They don't have a lot of amenities, but they have a cafeteria, housekeeping comes in to clean the house a couple times a month, and they take care of the laundry. They also take care of the yard for us. I like it that it's month to month and you don't have to sign a contract.

My parents are happy here. The people they work with are great, and it was a very good deal. They have a nice duplex apartment.

It was outstanding. The people were really nice, friendly, and professional. We even put a deposit down. They have a lot of crafts, a library, and a movie theater, and there were various outings. Dana was very outstanding, went above and beyond, and answered all our questions very quickly. She was really good.

It was my favorite because the rooms were very spacious, and I liked the fact that they had garages. It was a very large and spacious facility. The people working there were very nice. They had hired a young lady singing and playing the guitar for them, and there were some people listening, so they were providing entertainment for them.

It was very nice. The only thing there was they only had a very small room available at the time we were looking, and that was the only downfall. She wouldn’t have enough room there. But they do play cards, working puzzles, and Bible study.

I visited and was very impressed with the staff who seemed very involved and caring. They seemed to have a lot of activities, so that was definitely a positive. It was a nice facility.

Because it is mixed independent and assisted living, it felt more like an assisted living place overall. However, it was a nice, small facility, which could be a good thing. They were having a health check going on when I was there. The rooms were nice, and include a refrigerator and microwave. However, their dining room could be a little more restaurant-like. It didn't seem as nice as some of the others I've seen. The staff seemed very pleasant and helpful, though.

We toured this facility for our mother. We met Janet and Ismarelda and both were very helpful. We haven't made our decision yet but we will definitely give it top consideration.

My mother-in-law moved in. We chose this because it's close to where we live. When we visited the facility, it was very nice and clean. The people were very pleasant, and she has been doing very well since she's been there. Their rooms are very clean, and pretty spacious too. I haven’t eaten there, but she said the food is delicious. They do some exercise, and she said they also do kickball. They also take the residents on trips often. She has only been there for a few months, but she has been doing very well and she likes the facility.
