My mother was at Glenwood Skilled Nursing & Therapy. They helped her with her medications. They helped her with her physical therapy. During her stay, there was Covid that got brought into the facility. And so, she was in isolation along with other people at the facility. And they took very good care of my mother. When she first went there, she was in bed only and could not walk. They helped her to be able to get out of bed and use her walker, and they walked her to and from the dining hall. They also had a room where they would do upper body exercises making her move her arms and lift along with a class. They had a classroom and they had weights for the men and lighter things for the women to be able just to hold in their hands and move their arms. They helped them with their showers. They played board games in physical therapy to make sure their mental capacity was OK. That facility never had that smell, and it was very clean. All the staff was very helpful. The nurses, the people who come into the rooms that just take care of her daily, the ones bringing her breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and then the janitors, everyone was very kind to my mother.

This place is a joke- My Wife was in there for about 3 weeks- So under staffed, my Wife would lay in her poop and pee for hours at a time- sometimes stay on bedpan for hours. Food cold and not fit to eat. I don’t know how this place is Even in business. I wouldn’t recommend this place to no one.

We chose Glenwood Skilled Nursing & Therapy for my husband. He will be moving in next week. To be really honest, I was not thrilled with the initial person that we met who was going to conduct the tour. She did not know much of anything. We got a couple of other people involved, and they were very helpful. The place seemed to be clean, and I think they'll take good care of him. The dining area looked nice and clean. The rooms that I saw were in need of new paint, but they appeared to be clean. It was an older building. My husband will be in a private room, which is very spacious. We could bring in our own furnishings, so that we can make it a little homier for him.

The food was awful. They would not even bring you anything to drink with the meals and sometimes no silverware. They will bring you cereal with no bowl, no milk, no spoon. The call light doesn't get answered for 30 minutes or more. Showers are rare! Beds are rarely ever changed. Some mornings meds are not given until about 11am. Therapy was a joke. The place looked nice but it wasn't.

My sister has been here one yr. The staff is changing constantly. The food is just horrible . My sister cannot get the nurses or aides to answer her light when it's on. No one to help her go to the restroom & she is at great risk of falling and has fallen 3 times this week and they sent her to hos pital the 3rd time. There are only 2 nurses for the entire facility and only 3 aides. Do not bring your loved one here bc they WILL BE IGNORED.

It’s always been clean and my mom was there 2 yrs ago. Now still clean , nurses very nice and happy . But their food is always cold . Every meal and they can’t have microwave . They are short staffed . St Francis just sold it to new company. I’m hoping this food situation is short lived.

My mom moved into Glennwood Healthcare, Inc. It is nice. The outside is very clean, but I have not been able to see the inside yet. The people are very polite and accommodating. It is a little out of the way for me. It is on a busy street, but it is far back on the lot. They are taking good care of her; they are very giving and patient. She is still in isolation right now, and she is not the room that she's supposed to be in, even though she's had both of her shots. They have been very congenial, and so far, we do not have any problems.

Bad commutation with families unless You stay on top of it. Failure to report when my mom fell until I made several calls to ask why. Her roommate would call and tell me. Don't trust office to follow through with paperwork. Not good about regular bathing or bedding change unless the family keeps an eye on it. They have schedules for that but don't follow.

The residents are laid in bed with out diapers on and sometimes without bathing for weeks due to being understaffed and trying to save a penny. This facility does not look out for your loved ones best interest, rather their own.

Glenwood was fine, clean, and didn’t have people wandering around all over the place. It had halfway decent furniture when you walk to the front door, so it looked pretty good. The staff was fine and helpful.

My mom is all settled and really fine at Glenwood. Her health condition deteriorated greatly in the hospital in the last month unfortunately. The staff seems to be very caring; mother seemed well cared for I believe. I’m usually in there everyday, we go at different times of the day, and we saw that they keep things up. There they have exercise, different activities and craft and groups coming for church and singing. My mother chooses not to participate in those because of the state of her health right now. She has gone out a couple of times for a church service. It would be very good if church comes in at least once a week in different groups and will do a service for the residents. It’s not a big place; I would say more of medium-sized. I wish she’s not in any nursing home; well things are what they are, and we work with them. You’re greeted by the staff, they know who my mother is and they know who I’m there to see; she feels cared for. We are satisfied, and she’s under hospice care that comes to the nursing home several times a week; the hospice people are satisfied with her care too.

Glennwood Healthcare was pretty close to what I was looking for, and then I had a few people who recommended it to me; they had loved ones there, so that is what made me to go ahead and choose it for my mother. The place was very nice and clean; it doesn't smell dirty. The people were very pleasant, and I liked it in the beginning. I later on found out that they were shorthanded and they didn't have enough nurse people, like you call the nurse for something and it takes them too long to do the thing they needed to do. The food was fine. They need to be a little more attentive to the people who are staying there.
