The facility is old run down and dirty. The beds are prehistoric the bed side tables have broken wheels and the bed side commodes have bent legs. The staff is rude and uncaring. One morning the female who was supposed to help me came in the room and she told me she didn't have time to help me. The shower they took me to had wet washcloths hanging in there from prior users. It made me wonder how many other bare bottoms sat on the shower chair ahead of me without the thing getting cleaned. Stay away from this place it is an awful experience to stay in this dump.

I toured The Cottage at Woodland Hills. It was not a good experience. I was there for about five minutes, and that was the extent of the tour. The gentleman that showed me around barely did anything. We went down one hall. He showed me a couple of rooms where people were living. There was equipment in the hallways. It was a very unsafe condition for anybody that might be trying to walk. There was no place to hold on to a rail because the halls were filled with equipment. It was an older building, so it needed some work. The offices were very disorganized. They need to work on their marketing, and they need to have maintenance and upkeep in the building. The dining area appeared to be OK, but nothing spectacular.

The people at The Cottage at Woodland Hills were nice. They just weren't a good fit for us, but they might be for somebody else. They did the best they could with what they got. Everybody was very nice and very helpful. Everything looked very clean and kept up very nicely. When we went there, there was a group in a community room where somebody was playing music and somebody was singing. So, they were doing entertainment and it smelled good. I don't know what they made, but I could smell the food.
