My sister was a resident of Senior Suites Health Care. Their staff was very understanding, empathetic, and helpful. If they didn't know the answers, they started to find the answer. It was clean, and it did not smell like a nursing home and it did not smell like urine. It was always well-kept. It was more modern than what I anticipated it to be. They offered several different types of activities but my sister's physicality did not allow her to participate in anything because she became sicker. The atmosphere was friendly and like a family.

I was at Sr Suites in 2024 for rehab. My room was always clean, meals were fantastic and laundry always returned clean with no mixups. The PT staff was phenomenal. Unfortunately care of the facility had been deserted with many walls needing paint and even major breaks in the plumbing causing a waterfall to leak in the hallway. Then there is the nursing staff. Many times my light went unanswered for 45 minutes to an hour. One time I stepped out into the hallway to see what might be causing the delay. All of the nursing staff was gathered around the nurses station gossiping and telling jokes instead of answering lights. One day my scheduled pain medicine was an hour late. When I complained about the delay the nurse SCREAMED and cussed at me saying “she deserved a break”. Her tirade was so loud that people on either end of the hallway heard her. Just as I was being discharged there was a major overhaul of administration and staff. Unfortunately many of the nurses and techs who had given me good care had left leaving the lazy ones to run the show. I really hope that the change in administration improved things because the residents didn’t deserve the treatment they were getting.

My mother is in this facility, have had problems getting to see her, every time there is an excuse! The first time they were rude,as well as would not even let us see her through a door or window! Finally got a visit scheduled only to have " Lynn" call to try her best with excuses to cancel! Now even worse have relatives coming from Tennessee and want to see her,got told that they won't be able to see her for 2 weeks( on a weekday while they have staff there) calling state again as the state recommends the patients see family and loved ones. Wondering what they are hiding that they don't want outsiders to see? My last visit she just cried and told me she wanted to go somewhere else..... Anywhere but here!

AVOID THIS PLACE!! Administrative staff are wonderful to work with until you sign on the dotted line and then.....crickets! Unless you happen to reside in the one of the resident rooms...and then you might have not one but two different spiders that have babies in your room and then be rolled into the hallway to wait for room to be sprayed only to be rolled right back in to breathe in the spray. Or, maybe your loved one will get left on the toilet for 45 minutes before someone then finds them on the floor. Or your love one could get 'punished' for sitting on the side of the bed because they are afraid that she'll fall and so the night staff continually turn on the lights in the middle of the night or taunt the resident scaring them. And at best, the coffee will be cold, food will be cold, and meal times will be inconsistent and very late. Staff are rude, unapologetic, nonresponsive and management should be fired. Complete disappointment all the way around.

Nice place! No odors and the staff was very friendly! I observed people engaged in activities and ate lunch there and it was so good! The location is perfect and I plan on using them for skilled nursing services soon. I look forward to the food and the friendly staff!

Unfortunately I still had read the previous reviews and still had my family member go there after a long hospitalization. The rooms are decent size. The mornings had strong urine stench. The nursing staff did a good job. The nursing assistants were also very good and helpful. The food was decent. That is where the experience takes a downward spiral. Major lack of communication with support staff and administration. Would definitely encourage anyone considering sending your loved one there to do your research!! Looks can be deceiving!

I visited a dear friend/neighbor here who was recovering from back surgery. My first impression was one of complete heart break. Total lack of communication between staff. Broken TV and bed. She was left her in the bathroom for over 15minutes more than once in her 10 day stay. Trash on the floor of her room. She was put in a room on the same hall as long-term residents who wandered into her room at night unsupervised. Her medication was given to her without confirmation. I could go on and on.

My grandmother was at this place and they let her sit all not in a soaking wet bed and pad (she is handicap) she would press the button but no nurse would come. Then my grandmother fell out of her wheelchair and got hurt very bad and all the stories of them telling us how it happened keeps changing now she is in the hospital again the 2nd time she has been since being in this place they would hardly check her blood sugar which one day was 72,They also kept giving her medication that she did not want and made her really out of it. The whole place smells like pee and they do not care about anyone in the building they just care about their paychecks....do not go to this place if you want to live.

My mom and dad have been in Senior Suites for over year. My two brothers and myself very pleased with how they have been taken care of and treated. Nothing is perfect in life, but considering Senior Suites best Nursing Home Facility in Broken Arrow. All nurses, cmas, ladies that past out medicine have treated my parents greatly. The Administrater is outstanding Very helpful with all matters we may have, and always answers any concerns are questions we might have. I score Senior Suites with high stars and very thankful for all they have done and continue to do for our parents.

Our mother was put here for physical therapy with a broken ankle. There was a nasty nurse here that took an instant dislike to our mother because our mother did not want to be dragged out of bed at the crack of dawn and made to sit in the hallway all day, this nurse made life hell for our mother and our family the entire three months our mother was in residence here, she cancelled a doctor appointment, another time she cancelled the driver, she lied about our mother and said she tried to hit her so she would be put in a psychiatric hospital for a mental evaluation, (the truth about that situation is this nurse and 2 or 3 CNA's were forcefully dragging our mother out of bed at the crack of dawn and my mother raised her hand to stop them, but that is not the story this lying nurse told everyone. Our mother was given 2 antidepressants at the same time (which she did not need), these pills forever altered her mind to the point she no longer knew who any of her children were for the 7 remaining months of her life. They dumped our mother off at home half-dead instead of taking her to the emergency room because someone was not taking vital signs everyday, when she arrived she could not lift her head off of her chest, her eyes could not focus and she could not speak other than to say "no" a couple of times. The day before this a nurse had taken away her table and water glass so our mother went without water all day and they put her food tray on the nightstand where she could see her food but not reach it, her food sat there and congealed all evening and no one cared that she had not had anything to eat or drink all day, we have no idea how many other times she was abused this way. Our mother was bedridden and too lethargic to press the call button for help when she needed it. After they dumped her off half-dead, the owner called and told me it was our fault his nurse didn't want to do her job, he said she hated to go in our mothers room every day and do her job because she felt my family did not like her, we were not there when this nurse was supposed to be working they just needed someone to blame for the abuse and neglect our mother suffered while in his hands. They don't take responsibility for anything, all they care about is protecting their precious money so they can live a lavish lifestyle. There was no investigation and no apology for the things that happened to our 84 year old mother while in his hands.

My aunt has lived at Senior Suites for two years. She absolutely loves it there. It is consistently clean and free from odors. The food is excellent! I asked one of the nurses about her fit bit and how much she walked in a day. She said two days earlier it was 15,000 steps. They work hard for their money.

Senior Suites wasn’t noisy. It wasn’t noisy and was carpet all the way through. It looked pretty decent and people seemed willing to help. I thought it was nice. The price was pretty high.

Senior Suites looked fine to me. The facility is not large and not open enough. As for the rooms, they have both double and single. They were of nice sizes. The place is clean and looked pleasant. If I had to go to a skilled nursing facility, I would probably go there. I met the coordinator or the business person at Senior Suites who was very nice. They have activities and church services too. My initial impression of this place is that it is a warm and inviting facility.

My mother is in this facility and they have been great. No place is perfect but they have been responsive when we've called things to their attention. Courtney is an amazing nurse and Josie is a very competent and caring med tech. Even their weekend staff is wonderful especially Esmerelda. Their CNAs have been very good with Mom as she is very weak from end stage cancer. It's not home but if home isn't possible this is a good second. Keep up the caring and competent staff Senior Suites

My father in law was found in a ravine with a head injury and we had to place him in a nursing facility. We picked this one because of it's cleanliness, friendliness of staff and the skilled services they provided him. They have helped us with the Medicaid process and included us with his dementia plan of care. I would HIGHLY recommend this facility to anyone who has a need for high quality dementia/nursing care.

My grandmother was in this facility for months before she passed. The staff was wonderful and caring. They really took the time to get to know her and care for her personally. They were great about talking to us about her care. Nothing is perfect, but if you had to put your loved one in a nursing home this is a good one. I was really impressed with how well the staff listened to needs and the attentiveness of concerns.

After being advised by some people that know what the conditions are in this facility, we went ahead and entered my wife in this one. Here is what we found. #1 terrible responce time to call for assistance. #2 Staff for the most part poorly trained if at all. Turnover in floor personell really high. #3 Ongoing safety hazards ie: loose flooring in many patient rooms. #4 Loud talking in halls, #5 Hit or miss delivery of meals and selected by God only knows, some times the entree only, no drink or any thing else and they make a trip back to the kitchen or some where for each patient (silly). All in all it appears that there is a serious case of poor supervision in this facility. I have documented photos of the floor (terrible) and other items mentioned above. You should be ashamed. Come on guys you can do better than this. Let me ask you, would you put your mother or wife in a place ran like this?

This place is a cesspool! My dad was admitted to the hospital for dehydration and electrolyte imbalance. At the hospital they found he had MRSA is his urinary tract! He was dead within 2 months. During this same period my mother was also admitted to the hospital - for dehydration and acute renal failure. She eventually died in that nursing home -- of pneumonia. Also while a resident there, she became homicidal and suicidal. When admitted to the hospital, her drug screen was negative for Benzodiazepines (which the doctor had prescribed for her) and POSITIVE FOR MORPHONE (which WAS NOT prescribed for her). When I found out what her drug screen showed, I spoke to a psychiatrist about how she did not having any benzodiazepine in her system which she needed and had Morphine instead. When I told him she was suicidal, he stated, "Yep. That would do it!"
