When it is no longer an option to live safely in your long time home it is a hard decision that no one wants to have to make. The Oaks at Bethesda made that difficult decision much easier because they make it feel like your loved one is just as special to them as they are to you. The staff is truly like family. Wonderful place,wonderful staff and I have recommended many times and will continue to do so.

I'm not feeling warm and fuzzy about the nursing staff. They always seem to be gathering together when I come to visit my family member. I walked up to talk with them and a buzzer was going off and no one paid attention to it. I felt like I was interfering. Also,

At The Oaks at Bethesda, everyone was very nice, and the facility was very nice. Everyone was friendly. They were very pleasant. They were willing to answer any questions. They're very accommodating. The rooms were very clean. They were very inviting. It was like a resort. Food was very good. They have some type of activity going on almost daily, like physical therapy and that type of thing, but they did have cards and they did have wine and cheese made. Every week, there is something kind of different. They seemed to be very well managed, and it didn't matter whether it was somebody from the kitchen staff or from the nursing staff, everyone was willing to pitch in and do whatever needed to be done.
